Education / How University Students Can Spend Less Cash And Save More While In School by jerome263: 2:47pm On Sep 11, 2017
Are you a university student who always finds it difficult to spend less while in school? Have you always been wondering why you can’t save good money despite the many credit alerts you received from your parents, uncles, siblings, aunties and others? Do you want to learn the simple ways to spend less and save more while in school? Then I urge you to read this article carefully and put it to practice with immediate effect.
University students always find it difficult to spend less while in school. They want to buy any good thing they see at the market or at the café even when they never planned for it at first. This is not a good idea for a student who wants to spend less and save more. You should be able to define what you want at a time as a university student to avoid spending on what you don’t need. You can buy shares from your local bank with the little you are able to save at the end of the session. How would you feel seeing that before you graduate, you have been able to save a reasonable amount to start up a business of your own? I believe even your parents will be proud of you. Now, let’s get down to the main business.
Practical Ways a University Student Can Spend Less Cash While in School
1 .Know your needs from your wants: This is one of the reasons university students spend a lot of cash without knowing it. Not being able to differentiate between your needs and wants will make you spend more than what you are supposed to spend in a semester. A need is something you cannot do without or something that is necessary for you to live a healthy life. If a need is not met, it can lead to a disease and even death. Examples of these include food, shelter and water. While want is something that you desire, either immediately or in future. They are desires that are optional, it means you can still live and move on with your life even if they are not met. Example is a car.
2. Always plan ahead. Most university students fail to plan ahead of time. As a result of this they end up spending more than they ought to spend in a day, weekly or monthly. Take a pen and write down all your needs for the month. Then try as much as possible to buy them in bulk. Buying in bulk will help save some cash. Also write down all what you spend on a daily basis and match it with your weekly and monthly budget. This will enable you to know if you need to reduce your expenses for the day or not.
3. Avoid little charges and expenses: There are little charges and expenses a university student can avoid to save some cash. Some of them are; always use your bank whenever you want to withdraw with

Education / Becoming A Successful Student Entrepreneur by jerome263: 8:05am On Sep 10, 2017
Becoming a successful student entrepreneur while schooling is possible. We know the workload you carry as a student is much. From attending classes, to doing assignments and other things that the student entrepreneur may want to put in place to graduate with good grades. Because of these activities students who have great business ideas will never want to start a business. Some will say they want to graduate before setting up a business. But come to think of it, do you really need to graduate before starting up a business? Let’s take the case of Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg who started a business while in school. Don’t you think you can be like them? Although they dropped out of school while trying to take their businesses to the next level (We are not saying you should drop out like they did). Today, they are billionaires that the whole world celebrates. Do you think they would have gotten to where they are now, if they waited till graduation before putting their business ideas to work? Ask yourself this question if you want to become a successful student entrepreneur.
If you know you have what it takes to become a student entrepreneur, I urge you to start now. Those ideas that are burning inside you could be what you need to change your life forever if you could just release them to the world. While not take your pen and a book and start putting those beautiful ideas down, you will be amazed on how far you will go. Note that your plans must be concrete, not half-baked ones. You must do proper researching on the business you want to start in order to break into the market. You must examine your business goals, skills and knowledge. You must make sure your business ideas blend with you. You must know your competitors and how to surpass them. You must have a solid business plan. Choose a mentor of your choice in the business world. The last but not the least as a student entrepreneur, you must open a shop and register your business if possible.
To be a student entrepreneur is not easy. It is a tough decision to make. It requires many nights of planning and thorough thinking by the student entrepreneur to achieve success in future. Starting your own business as a student doesn’t require you to be a professional. What you need is the motivation and goals, couple with the necessary steps to achieve success. You must be ready to give the public something new different from what they have been used to. In this era, consumers only care about having a good experience with products. Once they know your product can give them that,...........read full article on

Omasworld1:
A reliable information getting to us, shows that admission will only be given to only 400,000 in all Nigeria universities as such Uniben will be admitting only 4,000 postume candidate in other words there will be limited space for Direct entry candidate hence the need to prepare very well. Please note that Uniben does not accept bribe as such dont allow anybody to deceive you to collect your money. Admission is only by merit. Be warn. Dont fall the prey.
thank you veey much

many people are so much confused on the direct entry issue. i bought my DE scratch today at JAMB office, and i also filled it there today within 1hr. without any regularization. they said that is not a problm, afterall JAMB will still give u another new registration number, after registration, which will be used to check ur admission status. am already a HND graduate with my NYSC certificate in my box..though d admission i got in my OND days back in 2008 was not posted on jamb site. instead i filled other Diplomas during my registration. so dont panic about anytin, just go to accredited centres and register both ur finger print. THANKS ALL.
I hv HND also, do u think uniben will gv admission into 300 level?
