This is ludicrous. Sure as the sky is blue, I have never been a rip-off and I never will. When I gave Baadal the PSP (encased in a PSP pouch), he asked for additional accessories, I told him the only accessories it came with was an original charger and a Resistance: Retribution™ UMD. I handed everything to him and urged him to do a thorough check. He switched it on and asked me how he would know if it was chipped (I guess he meant hacked), I scrolled down to the system settings menu and showed him the software details. But he looked kinda bamboozled so I put in my 32GB memory card and let him run thru the games on it. He was apparently amazed at the kind of games I had (it was 22 including the psone classic Resident Evil: Nemesis), he even asked where he could download games and I told him. I also told him that I had planned on selling the PSP with the memory stick but changed my mind because the cost would be prohibitive. I had 400+ songs (downloaded directly from my iTunes account), 10 HD movies, and a few digital comics. Using my android phone as a hotspot, I launched the web browser for him to see. I made him turn on the WLAN switch before prompting him to browse Nairaland which he did successfully. He even asked me to teach him to use his blackberry as a hotspot for the PSP. I tried and the PSP caught on to the EDGE network but the signal strength was a poor 25% (as opposed to the 100% of my HSDPA). I hope you all know that all these routine checks didn't happen in a nanosecond. Nonetheless, before I left, I asked Baadal if he wanted to check for anything else or if he had any questions to ask me and he said no and thanked me proportionately. I simply left. |
