[b]U're right about that in some sense, but atimes some customers offer such ridiculous prices that even the seller himself will feel insulted. So i sort of understand where the seller is thinking from cos it's happened to me several times as well.

Look at this case for example - i had a 2006 Mercedez benz i wanted to sell off some years ago. After recieving a call from someone and driving the car down, and after inspecting and test-driving, the eediot offered 350,000 naira!!! It's a good thing that i'm a very civilized person or else the kida insults i wanted to hurl at the guy that day, he'll run home and think well before opening his mouth to offer such ridiculous sums. I just got into the car and drove off without another word.

like jerryben12 said, the Nigerian car market has been so bastardized, most of the cars coming in are salvaged vehicles which relatively go for a fraction of the clean titled cars here in the US. The dealers just buy them, repair them for less than 100,000 naira, and add their gains and other stuff, which do not come even near to the price of if it were a clean title car.[/b]
