Seconded. Open it sharply. The seller might be playing a fast one on you. Chances are he hasn't even shipped your item. Once got a DHL shipped package in 4 days

My last transaction was 177. Looks like dollar is in outer space, always keeps going up, especially against naira. Darn!

I was told it is at the post office Hq in my state and that it will takes 2 days before it can get to the local post office

Ok. Relax then, I had my own problem with the HQ then. Give them 5 days if nothing happens then go to the HQ to sort it out. All the best

stlaibrowne:

this is my first time of doing this I mean getting package through postal service
what slip will I get and where is the place I will clear my good

There is little white paper where your name, address and tracking detail of package is written. This slip ( under ideal circumstance ) is supposed to get to you first to alert you that your package has arrived post office and to come for collection. But me personally only gets this slip from post office when I go for collection ( my address dey hard to trace tongue ) I then proceed to the department where the package is for collection of my package after paying their usual N500 new handling fee

thanks bro for you reply but what baffles is the fact that when I tracked it, it shows that it is with the post facility. and at the post office they claim it's not with them. What could be the problem and the way out of this pls

Ask for the oga in charge of the post office, sometimes the junior workers are just careless and wouldn't want to be bothered. I had similar experience. It took me 20 days to get the item they claimed wasn't in the post office. But when I talked to the oga @ the top come see action, within three days they found the missing item.

BOSSES! PLS WHAT SORT OF TRACKING CODE IS THIS? YC341071319YW I CAN'T TRACK IT. IT WAS GIVEN TO ME BUY A SELLER ON A.EXPRESS.

Can you drop a link of what you bought to get this tracking number? I once tried to play a fast one by buying an unbelievable low priced item and it turned out to be from a fake seller who also issued me a non trackable tracking number. Though A Express letter closed the deal due to it's suspicious nature and refunded all of us our money. We were up to 800, from different countries angry

In Benin post office n last week also, i got a call from warri to collect a parcel i tot was lost all 4 free. Or maybe it's free in Edo n Delta i dont know.

I don't doubt this, our FG parastatals are filled with corruption. I always have this feeling that the five hundred naira that they collect may never reach the appropriate place( if there is even such a place!) That is why I don't give them a dime ( I used to tip them) after paying N500 and they never ask

To collect items from post office is free, except it was sent to u via EMS etc I just collected some items today it was absolutely free. Those guyz demanding for N500 are thieves

Where is the post office that you collected free located? I've paid N500 twice and given receipt for it

Has anybody experienced what I they told me in the post office? I went to pick my parcel in the post office, I was welcome with surprising bad news, that It is now compulsory any item from 2kg and below pick from post you will pay #500 handling fee. I argued with them before they gave MEMO from their post office that It is directive from the above to all the post offices in Nigeria. Have you experience this?

seriously they just started collecting the money in Abuja, they av started in surulere since June oh I tink the fee is okay compared to wat shipping company collect honestly I prefer nipost to the shipping agent cos look @shippyme for example going thru their tread and I pity victims cos they lose their goods and money...

The good thing is your goods arrive safely and the cost doesn't break the bank. I like that. So I'll stick with NIPOST. Their services have greatly improved.

Na wa o. This shouldn't necessarily discourage mini importers, but challenge us to sought for a way round it like shipping together for importers in the same state. I hv decided to shift frm NIPOST to third party agents.

Third party shippers have their own wahala. Still doing NIPOST

Hello Jiayu phone users in the house! I got my Jiayu G3C I ordered from Aliexpress 2 days ago(picked up from the post office). I'm still assessing it but one thing that has struck me about the phone is the less than great build quality. The material is not too inspiring, doesn't look or feel strong enough. Is that how it is with the Jiayu phones you have used or are using? How does one know an original Jiayu? Thank you.

Drop the link where you got yours lemme check if it's original

Edited: that's the original

Nothing to flex. Those Chinese knows how to do biz. You'll see goods with 72% discount. Search well you'll see a $10 or more difference on SAME goods from another store. Didn't make any purchase today as I didn't see any REAL discount. My opinion though.

tracking number shows delivered at your post office and you are still asking what you should do? Please ask them to track that item and tell you another post office that has the same name as theirs. they should direct you to their extension if they have extension. Ask to see their Manager, most of our post men are very cunning.

Thanks. The funny thing is what I'm expecting will be of zero importance to a postman as it is part of a complex machine. I'm so pissed and I don't have time as I wish to visit the post office. My next time of visit I'll make sure I speak with the manager or whoever runs the show there

I have a problem. My tracking number shows my package is delivered to my local office.I've gone twice to the office and they said my package was never delivered at their office

Today I went there again and the lady told me that my package has not been delivered.

What do I do?

Hello guys. Nice work so far. I have been shopping on aliexpress for years but mainly for personal use. The few times I bought things to sell I had to use them myself or give them out. Dint find market for them.
Can someone give me ideas on how to market goods? Am based in abuja and interested in this importation business.

Advice(s) would be appreciated.
Cheers.

I don't think there is a one-size-fits-all rule about how to market. The thing is to test the market. I have a cousin that started importing clothes from Turkey. She started doing this because she always loves to dress well and always changes her dp like 10 times a day, like most girls do grin So friends are always asking her where she gets her dress from. She playfully tells them she imports them! Some got so serious they sent her money, that's how she delved into the dress business.

But before you start looking for how to market you must make sure your product caters for a need. Because I think it'll be a very tough job trying to sell snow to an Eskimo.

The thing is to look around and see what sells fast in your region. Then check the price and see if you can beat it by selling cheaper or you may even sell higher ( if you get higher quality and your clients are loaded and not the type that gets jittery when zeros are added to figures grin )

My two kobo cool
