Good day and happy sunday to you all.
It was not stated we close our eyes when praying but we now do it, this is why:

1. For concentration: many can't stay focus when praying, they will want to know what is happening around them, so we close our eyes to concentrate and avoid distraction.

2. To get connected: just like when we kiss, we close ous eyes to get the feelings. So it is in worship/prayers. Closed eyes will make you feel God's presence.

There are other reasons but we'll take only these. Jah bless.

Hi nairalanders and fellow poets, I'm greatly disappointed know that poets/spoken word artiste are not valued, acknowledged, recognised but are taken as unexisting.

Why are we treated this way? Most times our works are used but we are just seen as nobodies...why?
