wonu18:

Olamide and Phyno are really making us proud!
Yes your friend is right. I used the site to post my ride and within minutes I got calls from people to share my ride. since then my fuel expenses have drastically gone down. They are very credible and secure cos you must be verified. Go to www.teasendrive.com.ng to check them out.
Thank you Wonu. I have checked out the site and its amazing. Such a wonderful concept. I posted my ride there to travel to Warri and I got two cool passengers that didn't give me stress. I have even downloaded teasendrive android mobile app. Bye bye to picking passengers and strangers on the road. It is the best car sharing website right now in Nigeria. I also share and check out news and happenings from their itraffic platform on the site. Since I told my sister about teasendrive, she has been using it to book rides to work everyday. No hassles, very secure. Thank you once again.

Wow! This is really cool. Please does anyone know about this ride sharing platform teasendrive.com.ng? A friend said he shared a ride from it from work. If it's really true, it will sure help reduce traffic. Someone please confirm.

@ danidon

its sad danidon u support evil. If really u want to compare Zenith to a house in Lekki, when a landlord at Lekki gives you a price will he change the price to 1mn as found in mainland? In the case of Zenith, because they know that what they are doing is wrong, they apologize and tell you that they will waive it. So what does that tell you? Except you are an agent of Zenith you really have no business saying this nonsense. So far i have lost close to #5,000.00.
In fact i have seen that writing on this platform will solve no problem, i have decided to take it further. Pls anybody who know how i can reach the necessary authority should let me know say EFCC, CBN. Until they tell me that there is nothing wrong with what Zenith is doing, i will not stop, i will never listen or succumb to these supporters of evil and illegality. That is why Nigeria is immersed in corruption 'cos people support evil all the time. PLS I NEED THE CONTACT FOR NECESSARY AUTHORITY ON THIS, HELP OUT!

I am sorry to bring this here, but i feel like i'm going to choke if i dont speak out against Zenith bank daylight robbery on its customers. I was pleaded to open an a/c with them and i finally opened a savings a/c. But to my greatest surprise, anytime i recive money into this a/c, they charge me a minimum of N200.00. The shocking thing is that they did not inform me neither did the alert they send to me display this. It was until i checked my previous balance from my present balance, that i noticed a difference. When i enquired, they told me that it is upcountry charge that i can get a waiver. But i feel so sad that this is going on in a co-operate environment without recourse to customers. I don't have any problem with banks' charges, but c'mom, this is the height of it. In this period of online real time banking. U charged me for recieving money that creates liquidity for you that you also use to trade in all forms of say Tbills, Bonds, FX, loan customers, then you charge me? On a savings a/c? Haba! Without even telling me?
Then i told my firend who also informed that he once did an a/c to a/c transfer within two Zenith Bank savings a/cs and was charged C.O.T as much as N6,000.00. That really got me crazy, 'cos i know that other banks i bank with, they have never charged me for transferring money from one a/c to another within same bank. Haba!!! what kind of co-operate robbery is this. He was not even informed until he finished the transactions and saw his balance. How can you charge someone for ;
1. saving the bank cost and time by not queueing up to withdraw, thereby putting the bank through the stress of counting and paying, and then queue up again to pay the money (count again and deposit).
2. By creating liquidity for the bank since the money is not leaving the bank, but still within the bank.

Please, as much as this might be the wrong forum and there will definitely be dissenting voices. I urge all who support this to start posting it everywhere possibvle- twitter, facebook, sahara reporters, any other social network site.
Pls dont stop.
This is not just against Zenith, but against any other bank that is doing this unethical thing. People should know their right and fight for it. I have never heard of this type before and it must stop. I learnt banks like UBA use to do same until they met a customer their match and they stopped. So we must stop Zenith and other such banks. There are many ways banks make money. Zenith have all sorts of charges, but this is definitely the height of it- stealing from unsuspecting Nigerians!PLEASE START POSTING. People talk out of ignorance and its very very sad. Its not just N200.00, it can be higher depending on the amount you recieved. banks make money from having your money, so why should they also charge you for keeping money with them even in a savings a/c without even informing you. I dont want this to stop here. I am not against them charging other forms of regular bank charge, but this particular charge is highly unethical. No matter how some fools and cowards here might want to shut this out, pls those of you who support this, i want us to take it to the next level. To facebook, twitter, sahara reporters. Most times you dont win a battle by arms but by media.
Please keep writing until this stops!
Business / Re: Zenith Bank's "Up Country Charge" by jeryl: 11:28pm On Oct 27, 2010
@ nimshi

1) are you sure these charges were not communicated to you before you opened the account?
2) are you sure these charges were not communicated to you sometime after you opened the account?
3) have you contacted your account officer at the bank?
4) have you sent an email to the manager of the branch where your account is located?

i can categorically tell you that i was not informed. Even when i recieved e-mail alert on credit into my a/c, they only alerted me that i recieved the exact money that was expecting into my a/c i.e say #50,000. but the only way u will know is if u check your previous balance from the current balance, u will now see that there is a difference. In fact, i did not know initially until one day that i critically looked at my previous and current balance, that day, i received #500,000.00 and when i checked, i noticed that my balance was short by #500.00. that was when i raised an alarm and i went thru other credits and found the same thing. so i calculated it and found out that they have been taking 0.1% of any credit i recieve into my a/c.  when i enquired they said it was upcountry charge but said if i want it to stop i should write the bank and ask for a waiver.

But the issue remains that me writing for a waiver does not solve the problem as millions of unsuspecting Nigerians are still gonna be sufferring this. Imagine debiting say #100.00 from every a/c in Zenith bank that recieves credit on a daily basis? Is that not pure robbery and injustice to the citizens that entrusted their money in their care. Provided them with liquidity? and kept them in business? They beg you to open a/c and then they charge you for recieving money into ur a/c which its even to their benefit. haba Nigerians. wake up!
Business / Re: Zenith Bank's "Up Country Charge" by jeryl: 11:16pm On Oct 27, 2010
what the poster said is correct as i am a victim of that. I learnt banks like UBA were doing similar things until they met a customer that was their match which nearly put them in trouble so they had to stop. Tell me why you should be charged upcountry for recieving or withdrawing money from ur savings account in this period of online banking? Nigerians must learn to excercise their right and stop being cowards. That is why we are not progressing as a nation 'cos people see things going wrong and keep quite about it.
