Jesus gives rest:
Jesus said "Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden,and I will give you rest."Matthew11:28

If people continue to do things the way it has always been done and expect a different result,then it is a big joke,if the status quo is not challenged and steps taken in the right direction to initiate change,what hope and legacy is there for Nigeria?
Truth is standing for what is right has never been easy,it costs you and at times it costs you very dearly but the joy and fulfillment of doing what is right should far outweigh the cost.

Pathetically it seems the average Nigerian mentality is about me,myself and I,as long as people can find a way to settle themselves be it legally or illegally,no one cares about the system or give any serious thought to what contribution or sacrifice they can make to make their community a better place.

Like I said earlier we have a choice we can let the status quo remain or we begin to search for ways in which we can contribute individually and cooperatively by raising up a group of covert security operatives to combat this evil,the cell phone camcorder is a good device,let us start putting it to use and see what will happen when millions of clips of illegal police acts begin to saturate the media waves locally and internationally.

Finally for those of us that believe in God,let us continue to pray for the healing of the nation while we also take proactive steps.God said in his word"If my people who are called by name shall humble themselves and call upon me then I will heal their land". My 2cents.
Cheers and God Bless,
Jesarmy

The Lord Jesus Christ is the bread of life.

So I guess it would be safe to say the site is a hybrid of trading and gisting ,.
Information sharing is very valuable and crucial in making rational economic decisions and is meant to ensure fairness to both sellers and buyers,but it would be healthier if we share our info with each other in a respectful manner,abiding by the forum rules and without derailing car advert threads.
The truth is with over a quarter million registered users,the site is a force to be reckoned with and someone some where might start getting worried about the image of the country we project to the outside the world.Moreso,I feel strongly that as patriotic citizens we should use this forum to help improve the image of the country and who knows what local/international partnerships might even develop as a result.

Revelation1:8-I am Alpha and Omega,the beginning and the ending,saith the Lord,which is,and which was,and which is to come,the Almighty.

@All in the autosection,
It seems Monitor_1 has been relieved of her position as moderator,any reason for this?I felt she was doing a good job.
The autosection is seriously in need of a moderator to help enforce the rules and regulations of the forum.Most trade forum of international repute are regulated and strictly moderated to ensure smooth business transactions.
There are far too many dramas in the autosection more than the car sales that are been generated,the potential danger in this is that many more serious buyers/sellers may be put off from patronising the auto section seeing it as an entertainment forum rather than a trading  platform.This definitely would serve no good to any dealer in the house.
Hopefully issues can be resolved amicably and moderator(s) put in place to enforce the rules and regulations of the autosection.
Regards,
Jesarmy

Fhemmmy:
So after all these "Inspector Gadgets' recording, what is next, you post it in the newspaper, online, youtube and all that, what what will follow?
The people in power in Nigeria dont give a damn, dont even have access to online resources and those that does, dont care, they are busy thinking of how to steal more money.
Will be a good watch on You tube sha.

I agree, the people in power may not care but albeit a few of them might.Anyway we have a choice we can let things continue as it is or take actions and begin to challenge the status quo.The truth is "youths" are powerful change agents and if their efforts are well coordinated they can bring out unprecendented changes,who would have imagined that a black man would become the president of America.
Let us take a cue from that,the first enemy to overcome is a negative belief system,let us believe that positive changes can happen in Nigeria and let us begin to proffer ways of making it happen.
To your question proper :Once there are sizeable no of video clips -many things can happen from there locally- nollywood can be approached to produce movies and distributed to households nationwide,this should be their contribution to moving the nation forward -how would the thief in uniform feel when they go to their family house and they are confronted with the movie of their evil acts or when their kids come home everyday taunted by other kids because of their evil acts,we only need a few scapegoats that would serve as a deterrent to others.
There are still many way forward(coming soon).
Meanwhile be a positive change agent come up with ideas on how we can move the nation forwad.

youngies:
For the records I did not, but I regretted not paying it.

@poster,
You dont have to regret it,you did the right thing and should be proud of yourself!
You ought to get your money back plus compensation for unlawful arrest and detention,emotional stress and hourly wages lost.
If you can afford it get a lawyer and sue them or may be we can get lawyers on the forum who can take this type of cases and offer pro bono services.

@all,
Let's try wearing one of this covert devices(pictures displayed below),record these nefarious acts live,post  them on  youtube and other media houses for the whole world to see,cite the name of the police officer and police station involved .
Fact:We need hard evidences so that it is not just one man's word against another.

How do we as a people come up with a solution and force the govt to do what is right?Enough of admiring the problems,let us come with practical ways of sanitising Naija.
What are the media houses doing in Nigeria?What can we do as individuals? as families?and as communities?religious entities?e.t.c
A police trying to take bribe in the U.S would make the headlines on Good Morning America the following day and for all you know the sunglasses that guy behind the wheels is wearing or the pen on that guy's shirt or the decorative piece on the dashboard may be a camcorder recording every bit of the transaction.In a nutshell the citizenry themselves have devised ways of protecting themselves by having solid evidences.
The truth is until we see the problem as real evil and have a individual heart committment to fight it in whatever little way we can,the problem will persist.
Some food for thought:
What will happen if every member of a family decides they would not give bribes ,A church community decides not to give bribes,the people in a specified area commit not to give bribes,commutters/drivers begin to wear covert security devices such as pencorders,glasses e.t.c to record illegal activities on our roads and send them to our media houses for publicity?
I believe strongly Nigerians are very intelligent people,please let us direct our God given potentials to fostering solutions to these problems instead of engaging each other in war of words.I look forward to more ideas of what can be done to salvage our dear country.
Shalom,
Jesarmy

This thread is to elicit God's attributes with Biblical references such that Christian believers are edified.All believers in the house are encouraged to contribute as the Lord leads.
#1:God is love- 1Jn4:7-9,1Jn3:1,Jn3:16
All the scriptural references above tells of God's love to mankind climaxed by Jn3:16 which says "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life".
We are also admonished to love one another for love is of God,he that loveth not does not know God, for God is love.1Jn4:8
Shalom,
Jesarmy
