This have a side guy advice is the worst advice I've heard someone give this year.. Firstly you said why do guys cheat? And your solution is for girls to cheat also? Two wrongs baby.... And what if your main guy is "the one" but just before he proposes,he catches you and your side guy..end of story... The thing is we all see bad signs in our relationships,,guys and babes alike....but most of us choose to ignore them because of fear of starting all over...When u choose to remain second fiddle,, you made a choice to be a victim. Its your decision not a anybody's,, I don't like people that come here to act the victim like we all have never had bad relatshionships,, like babes dont cheat too....NNE if u meet the wrong dude, break up and have peace. God gave you a brain for a reason... |
This is one rapper that has improved over the years with his craft, the first time I heard this dude rap, I didn't give him a second thought, fast forward to some years later, a more lyrical conscious artist emerged from his soul. On many occasions that I've taken trips by air, well in my type of work it is mainly helicopters or choppers as we call them, we usually have few minutes for a safety talk where passengers are briefed on safety measures and what to do in the case of an emergency. They always emphasize the "brace position", but what I have noticed over time during these briefings are passengers nonchalant attitude towards this exercise, to some of them its just a ritual the airlines have to perform, so they are hardly interested, well here is a true testimony from one of the survivors of the Columbia plane crash involving a Brazilian football team on Quartz Weekly. On the night of Nov. 28 a charter plane hurled into a mountainside-south of Medellin, Colombia’s second-largest city. Of the 77 people aboard, all but six died. One of the survivors, flight technician Erwin Tumiri, believes that following normal airline safety protocols saved his life. While many passengers stood up from their seats and screamed, he told local media, he tucked a bag between his legs and “went into the fetal position as recommended in crashes.” The so-called “brace position” is recommended by many airlines, but many have questioned its effectiveness. Tumiri said he was certain he survived because he “followed the safety protocols.” No doubt luck played a role in his survival as well. It’s clear from the smashed wreckage that many passengers would have perished no matter what measures they took. The plane was carrying the Brazilian soccer club Chapecoense, a small-market team that had beat the odds to reach the Copa Sudamericana, a major club competition. The team was on its way to play in the first leg of the final. Besides Tumiri, the other survivors included three players, another crew member, and one journalist. The plane’s pilot told air traffic controllers he had run out of fuel, after skipping a scheduled refueling stop in Bogota Source: http://www.brainyhubb.com/

Three Telling Quotes About 'Very' 1. Substitute ‘damn’ every time you’re inclined to write ‘very;’ your editor will delete it and the writing will be just as it should be. ~Mark Twain 2. 'Very' is the most useless word in the English language and can always come out. More than useless, it is treacherous because it invariably weakens what it is intended to strengthen. ~Florence King 3. So avoid using the word ‘very’ because it’s lazy. A man is not very tired, he is exhausted. Don’t use very sad, use morose. Language was invented for one reason, boys - to woo women - and, in that endeavor, laziness will not do. It also won’t do in your essays. ~N.H. Kleinbaum http://www.brainyhubb.com/2016/11/45-ways-to-avoid-using-word-very.html

In 1929, German doctor Friedrich Ritter abandoned his practice and moved to the Galapagos Islands, feeling he needed a new start in a faraway place. He brought with him one of his patients, Dore Strauch: both of them left spouses behind. They set up a homestead on Floreana Island and worked very hard there, moving heavy lava rocks, planting fruits and vegetables and raising chickens. They became international celebrities: the rugged doctor and his lover, living on a far off island. Many people came to visit them, and some intended to stay, but the hard life on the islands eventually drove most of them off. The Wittmers Heinz Wittmer arrived in 1931 with his teenage son and pregnant wife Margret. Unlike the others, they remained, setting up their own homestead with some help from Dr. Ritter. Once they were established, the two German families apparently had little contact with one another, which seems to be how they liked it. Like Dr. Ritter and Ms. Strauch, the Wittmers were rugged, independent and enjoyed occasional visitors but mostly kept to themselves. The Baroness The next arrival would change everything. Not long after the Wittmers came, a party of four arrived on Floreana, led by "Baroness" Eloise Wehrborn de Wagner-Bosquet, an attractive young Austrian. She was accompanied by her two German lovers, Robert Philippson and Rudolf Lorenz, as well as an Ecuadorian, Manuel Valdivieso, presumably hired to do all the work. The flamboyant Baroness set up a small homestead, named it "Hacienda Paradise" and announced her plans to build a grand hotel. An Unhealthy Mix The Baroness was a true character. She made up elaborate, grand stories to tell the visiting yacht captains, went about wearing a pistol and a whip, seduced the Governor of Galapagos and anointed herself "Queen" of Floreana. After her arrival, yachts went out of their way to visit Floreana: everyone sailing the Pacific wanted to be able to boast of an encounter with the Baroness. But she did not get along well with the others: the Wittmers managed to ignore her but Dr. Ritter despised her. Deterioration The situation quickly deteriorated. Lorenz apparently fell out of favor, and Philippson started beating him. Lorenz started spending a lot of time with the Wittmers, until the Baroness would come and get him. There was a prolonged drought, and Ritter and Strauch began to quarrel. Ritter and the Wittmers became angry when they began to suspect that the Baroness was stealing their mail and badmouthing them to visitors, who repeated everything to the international press. Things turned petty: Philippson stole the Ritter's donkey one night and turned it loose in the Wittmer's garden. In the morning, Heinz shot it, thinking it feral. The Baroness Goes Missing Then on March 27, 1934, the Baroness and Philippson disappeared. According to Margret Wittmer, the Baroness appeared at the Wittmer home and said that some friends had arrived on a yacht and were taking them to Tahiti. She said she left everything they weren't taking with them to Lorenz. The Baroness and Philippson departed that very day and were never heard from again. A Fishy Story There are problems with the Wittmers' story, however. No one else remembers any ship coming in that week. They never turned up in Tahiti. They left behind almost all of their things, including - according to Dore Strauch - items that the Baroness would have wanted on even a very short journey. Strauch and Ritter apparently believed that the two were murdered by Lorenz and the Wittmers helped cover it up. Strauch also believed that the bodies were burned, as acacia wood (available on the island) burns hot enough to destroy even bone. Lorenz Disappears Lorenz was in a hurry to get out of Galapagos and convinced a Norwegian fisherman named Nuggerud to take him first to Santa Cruz Island and from there to San Cristobal Island, where he could catch a ferry to Guayaquil. They made it to Santa Cruz, but disappeared between Santa Cruz and San Cristóbal. Months later, the mummified, desiccated bodies of both men were found on Marchena Island. There was no clue as to how they got there. Incidentally, Marchena is in the northern part of the Archipelago and not anywhere near Santa Cruz or San Cristóbal. The Strange Death of Dr. Ritter The strangeness did not end there. In November of the same year, Dr. Ritter died, apparently of food poisoning due to eating some poorly-preserved chicken. This is odd, first of all because Ritter was a vegetarian (although apparently not a strict one). Also, he was a veteran of island living, and certainly capable of telling when some preserved chicken had gone bad. Many believed that Strauch had poisoned him, as his treatment of her had gotten much worse. According to Margret Wittmer, Ritter himself blamed Strauch: Wittmer wrote that he cursed her in his dying words. Unsolved Mysteries Three dead, two missing over the course of a few months. "The Galapagos Affair" as it came to be known is a mystery that has puzzled historians and visitors to the islands ever since. None of the mysteries have been solved: the Baroness and Philippson never turned up, Dr. Ritter's death is officially an accident and no one has any clue how Nuggerud and Lorenz got to Marchena. The Wittmers remained on the islands and became wealthy years later when tourism boomed: their descendants still own valuable land and businesses there. Dore Strauch returned to Germany and wrote a book, fascinating not only for the sordid tales of the Galapagos affair but for its look at the hard life of the early settlers. There will likely never be any real answers. Margret Wittmer, last of those who really knew what happened, stuck to her story about the Baroness going to Tahiti until her own death in 2000. Wittmer often hinted that she knew more than she was telling, but it's hard to know if she really did or if she just enjoyed tantalizing tourists with hints and innuendos. Strauch's book doesn't shed much light on things: she is adamant that Lorenz killed the Baroness and Philippson but has no proof other than her own (and supposedly Dr. Ritter's) gut feelings. If you're interested in learning more (or solving the mystery yourself!) some of the links below will take you to online versions of first-hand accounts, such as Strauch's book or interviews with the Wittmers. This is a tiny Solar powered pre-fabricated house that can move with its owners. This house can become whatever you want. A city center home, a lakeside summer house, a cozy cafe, an office, workshop or even a classroom. The design is very clever and can be assembled on different surfaces without the need for foundations. It comes with hookups for water, sewage and electricity and its made of vacuum insulated concrete. This is a very cool concept and I keep wondering if we can make this house work over here in Nigeria? Anyway if you want to know the geniuses that design these houses, I said "these" because they have other designs too, just visit KODA By Kodasema Source http://www.brainyhubb.com

One business in China is learning that a play on words can get it in trouble with the government. A fast-food fried chicken chain called Call a Chick is currently under investigation in Shanghai because its name happens to be a suggestive Chinese slang phrase. In early November, the mother of an eight-year-old boy reported the restaurant to local industry and commerce officials (link in Chinese) in China’s southern city Chengdu, where one of the franchises is located. The woman, whose last name is Chen, said her son asked her to explain the restaurant’s name, and though she told him it was just a fried chicken restaurant, he repeatedly used the phrase “call a chick” in the following days, forcing her to “deal with it.” In Chinese, the term chick, or ji in Mandarin, is often used to refer to female prostitutes, and the last two words in the Shanghai-based restaurant’s name, Jiao Le Ge Ji, informally refers to getting a prostitute. The restaurant cheekily applied the play on words to its slogan: “A restaurant specializing in making chicken” can also be read as “A restaurant specializing in providing prostitution.” Its menu also included an item called “a chick without sex life.” The complaint got the attention of Shanghai Industry and Commerce Department. An official said (link in Chinese) that the restaurant’s advertisement, slogan, and menu were suspected of breaking China’s advertising law (link in Chinese), which specifies that advertisements “hindering societal public order or violating good social conduct” and “containing pornographic, sexual, superstitious, terrorist or violent contents” are forbidden. “We specialize in making fried chicken and use virgin chicken as materials,” said the restaurant on a Nov. 18 statement (link in Chinese). “Our target customers are 18 to 28 so we set our slogans and advertisements catering to the group.” The chain said it would change its slogan, menu, and ads, but did not admit any involvement in prostitution. Some days I wake up and wonder why I have to go to work today?, but then, what choice do I have, I need to pay my bills and make my family comfortable, to say the least. I need to give out to those around me, folks, friends, etc. It is just me, I like to see people smile, I like to see people happy, I love a peaceful atmosphere, I love people who argue constructively, I love people who have learnt to live above religious, ethnic and political sentiments, I love to have a good time and sometimes I wish that the world was just a perfect place where everyone just sailed on calm seas with smiles to everyone they come across. Unfortunately, that can never be.The world is a mysterious place, everywhere you go you see different things. You can go to a beautiful place and witness ugly events or go to devastated environment and see the beauty in people, I guess that unbalance is what brings balance to the world. Imagine the world where everything was perfect, everyone was beautiful, everyone was rich. There would be chaos, we would probably all just run crazy one day. Imagine driving a Ferrari and not being able to find a mechanic that can fix it when it breaks down. oh! I forgot, you also have a Villa with all the state of the art interior decor and you can't find a maid or house staff to run it, no Gardener to mow your lawn or cook to prepare your meals, and why is this? Everyone is RICH!!!. No one will work for anyone, walking down the street and every girl you see is gorgeous with a wonderful figure, every guy is good-looking with a nice physique, no one would ogle at models in glossy magazines anymore. Personally, in this "perfect state" I do not think civilization would last a week.,but it is still something nice to wish for. Individuality makes us understand and appreciate and understand feelings like hate, love, passion, humility, kindness, Lust, how the rich treat the poor, how the powerful relate to the less powerful and how the healthy support the sick. This imbalance makes us see each trait and limits generalization. So walking down the street I see different people from different cultural backgrounds in the same country, I see this woman, she's in her 30s but acting 20s, you know women, they never want to age. She's heavily made up and walks with this "I'm an expensive chic attitude, so I try to avoid bumping into her as she passes, I get a whiff of her "sosorobia" perfume like my wife calls it, Sosorobia is Warri Slang for cheap. Warri is a city in Delta State, Nigeria. It is an oil hub in South-South Nigeria and known for its rich collection of Slangs and hyperactive people. She walks away talking on her phone and swinging her hips to some imaginary rhythm and I whisper with mischief to some imaginary audience the word "packaging". I think she heard me because she turned around almost immediately. I froze and put up my most serious thinking face and looked through her. She stalls for a second and continues her "swinging" as a car pulls up and she hops in. Things like this make the world revolve in equilibrium, perfection will upset that. If you were waiting to know if I followed her in another car, you must be watching too many movies....Have a lovely day. BrHub http://www.brainyhubb.com/2016/11/perfect-world.html?m=1 |
