Good day all. I will just go straight to the point. Ever since I bought my Nokia 4.2 months ago I have been experiencing problems when sending text messages
Whenever I send a text message, I usually get debited for a number of times for just one SMS and this drastically reduces my airtime. This has made me to stop sending texts for a while, but sometimes I do not have a choice but to send an SMS
Attached is the screenshot I usually get when I text once. Also, when I call the person I sent the text to, he/she tells me he has received the same text for a number of times.
Any solution for my phone.

See. I had the same issues on my 4.2 months ago, even the network provider couldn't help because it seemed strange to them. To make the story short, i was able to solve it by switching my number to a new sim card(through 4G sim upgrade). Everything worked fine after that, try it.

Please i need assistance, i can't download from playstore, i cleard my phone storage still it won't download apps... I use infinix hot 6X

goto your settings, Apps & notification (assuming you re on android pie), see all apps, tap the three dotted option button to show system apps, find 'Download manager' or 'Downloads' depending on what it is named there, clear storage, scroll and find 'Google play services', clear storage there too, repeat the same with 'Google playstore'. Your downloads on playstore should work just fine after these (assuming your network connection is good)

If you can't find message centre number:
type *#*#4636#*#* into your phone on the dial screen
Select Phone information
Scrolldown and select the SMSC setting
Press Refresh to see the current setting (which should hopefully be the one you're looking for)
If this number is wrong then type in the correct one and press Update

i have tried this several times, it still doesn't work. After doing this & restarting, there's no change. NOTHING seems to be working concerning the sms

dial *#*#4636#*#* > click phone information and stroll to SMSC... then type in your SMS center number... works for me

i have done that severally. 'refresh' then 'update'. after doing this, i exit then try to send a message & still nothing

My nokia 4.2 cannot send text messages anymore. i can receive messages just fine but when ever i send a text, the stamp under the message keeps showing 'sending' & the message delivering several times to the reciever leading to MTN taking 4naira consecutively. Sometimes the messages just flatout 'fail to deliver' i have cleared storage, reset my phone, updated several times still nothing. i cannot find 'center number' anywhere in settings of the default Google messaging app. Any help is greatly needed. ��

I am currently using ds fone, I can't but agree with you, infact the front and back glass got broken from fall, pls I want to ask, is it the screen that got broken or the glass, I want yo know if it comes with an extra glass on the screen... Thanks

what is broken depends on the height of the fall. Take a close look at your device & see. In most cases it is usually just the glass you need to replace. There is a digitiser that is not scratch or shatter-proof, there's no extra form of protection on this device.
