I agree, but I only act such way in the presence of my fellow guys. I don't greet female strangers especially if they fall under the age of forty. I'll never lay the ground for such familiarity, if I want something from a girl I'll go for it. Because when I form unnecessary acquaintanceship with females it's only a matter of time before they everything falls back to square one.

When they feel you've known each other for some time, they bill you or try to use you in some other way and you serve them a cold reply. The next day, they will act like they didn't see you and they will send the update to their friends. Conversancy with these young chicks will bring nonsense in the near future 90% of the time.

On my way home this morning from the gym close to my place, I boarded an okada. The motorcyclist happened to be one hausa guy I was familiar and cordial with since he and other motorcyclists usually hang around my bus stop and estate gate. They have been there for years now.

While on the speeding bike, he and I were reminiscing on the good gestures of my mother towards them every Christmas. He then jokingly told me "oga, no forget do small Christmas for me" and he laughed. Along the way, when we stopped for me to buy something before finally heading to my house, I gave him the transport fare of #100 and I added #2000, which was all the physical cash I had in my pocket, as a gift.

What really surprised me was the way this man looked at the cash in excitement like he had won a lottery, and he couldn't believe his eyes. He was shocked and riveted to the spot before collecting the money. It was as if no one has given him such sort of gift before. He repeatedly kept thanking me on the way. He kept telling me in excitement that I have really tried for him and he was thinking of going to Ogun state today and my gift will come in handy. After I got down, he repeatedly kept thanking me and he zoomed off. I was enthused to see an elderly man old enough to be my father gyrating like an excited child who finally got for Christmas the big gift he has always wanted.

I didn't want to share, but I just kept reliving that encounter and I couldn't help it.

Guys, so I've been with my girlfriend for 3 years and it was good until this year.



My finances hit rock bottom and she was supportive. She even sent me part of her school fees and wasn't all that demanding...
Things changed when her cousin got hooked to a yahoo boy and has probably influenced her.
