PoliticsRe: SW Is The Most Heavily Indebted Geopolitical Zone In Nigeria by jfking2005(m): 3:02pm On May 24
sweerychick:
typical SW reasoning, so we should go and indebt ourselves because we are not generating enough abi? No wonder with all the billions your region generates there's nothing absolutely nothing to show for, with the money Lagos generates alone it should compete with the likes of Qatar and Dubai..
I am very sure you really do not understand how to develop a nation/State. Opening a 2x2 shops here are there are just trade and no nation can develop using that kind of what you tag business.

You need to spend money to build infrastructures and attract investments if you don't have it, you may have to borrow and position your state for economic prosperity.

When you see Lagos building blue, red, green rails, building electric light rails, opening up the water ways, Building BRT lanes etc. do you think they have the money? or where do you think the money is coming from? they are the loans that you condemned using your trader mentality however they are Positioning themselves for investments.

Now Ask yourself why your people flocking SW today? these are what they see, and they start running down to SW

SE need a leader that has future prospect and can take informed economical decision that will project the region forward and you the citizen of that region need to think outside the box and not as a trader
PoliticsRe: Funso Doherty Picks NDC Lagos Governorship Form. by jfking2005(m): 12:34pm On May 19
LagosOrigin:
Very good, we will liberate Lagos from "Baba sope" politics in 2027 election because Lagos belongs to all Yoruba sons and daughters in the state and not to one man and his family, bola tinubu.

We will vote for NDC from the top to bottom in 2027 and by the grace of Almighty Allah, we will win.

Nlfpmod
Why is Lagos politics your problem?
Why not spend more energy in your state of origin political development?
PoliticsRe: They Removed Subsidies To Save Nigeria — Then Borrowed Nigeria Into Crisis by jfking2005(m): 7:00am On May 10
Putinofrussia:
But South Africa has 64 million people and they are owing 5 times what Nigeria is owing.
Will you ask why they are accumulating even higher loans than Nigeria?
How much is each South African owing, sir?
Will you also ask why USA is still borrowing while they are owing $37 trillion, the highest in the world?
How much is an American owing?
They have just around 350 million people and owing $37 trillion.
This means each American is owing
$105 ,714.286.
Or maybe you should ask Dangote why he borrowed money and maybe advise him not to borrow next time even if he wants to expand his business.
Ignorance at its apex.
Stop arguing with someone with a trader's mentality. Governance and long term capital projects requires a very good understanding of macro and micro economics and time factor ..so do t waste your time with a trader

Stop being emotional for once and use your brain to think.
Is MNK is not a criminal?
is he not a terrorist?
Do you know how many people died because he instructed them to do it?
Did he not incite people against the nation?
it is because non of your family member was affected right, so he innocent?
What has Tinubu got to do with this? ask yourself that question? to stop the judicial process or what do you want him to do?
Because people are saying this does not make it right.
Please be real for once and check all fact on the table then use your head and stop being emotional because he is an igbo man

PoliticsRe: Debunking The Myth: Trump’s Concern For Nigeria Didn't Just Start Now. by jfking2005(m): 8:09am On Nov 05, 2025
Mrchippychappy:
Why Nigeria Must Accept Trump’s Offer. It Worked in 2019

In 2019, under Trump’s direct support, Nigeria crushed Boko Haram, the terror group lost over 90% of its territory in just 18 months.
Here’s what happened:

U.S. delivered twelve A-29 Super Tucano jets (approved 2017, arrived 2019–2020)

U.S. provided real-time intelligence, drone surveillance, and elite training
Nigerian military recaptured Sambisa Forest, Boko Haram’s last major stronghold

Proof from trusted sources:

BBC (Feb 2019): Large territories have been recaptured with international support… Boko Haram is now confined to remote areas.
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-47047399

BBC (2018–2019 update):

“Boko Haram has lost most of the territory it once controlled… leadership split under pressure.”
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-36973354

Vanguard (2023 GTI Report):

“Nigeria’s improvement in global terrorism rankings tied to 2019 U.S.-backed military gains.”
https://www.vanguardngr.com/2023/03/nigeria-improves-by-two-spots-on-global-terrorism-index/

Then Biden paused the partnership.

Leahy Law restrictions cut lethal aid.
Result? Boko Haram/ISWAP regrouped. Attacks surged 30% by 2022.

Biden Removes Nigeria from CPC List (2021)

Premium Times: U.S. removes Nigeria from list of religious freedom violators – Biden ignores USCIRF recommendation, removes Nigeria.
https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/496285-u-s-removes-nigeria-from-list-of-religious-freedom-violators.html

Vanguard: US lawmakers ask Biden to re-designate Nigeria – Notes 2021 delisting despite ongoing issues.
https://www.vanguardngr.com/2023/02/us-lawmakers-ask-biden-to-re-designate-nigeria-as-religious-freedom-violator/

Trump’s 2019 model was monumentally successful.
His 2025 offer is to restart that success. Intervention NOT invasion

Well meaning Nigerians MUST accept this. Protect the lives Christians, secure the Middle Belt. End the genocide.
What exactly is your own personal interest if I may ask?
PoliticsRe: The Scam Monorail Project Signed By Anambra, Abia And Enugu by jfking2005(m): 8:23am On Oct 14, 2025
michlins:
in economics, there's a scale of preference. Nigeria economy isn't that robust to accommodate certain level of expenses. Some huge projects are not worth it one bit because they take funds away from important on that will have direct impact on the masses.

So yes, it's crawling before running and our economy is barely sitting as a baby but people like you will want the government to start huge unimportant projects for the sake of glamour while basic infrastructure like water and good hospital are totally ignored
My brother , pls take more time to read comments, feedbacks from exposed people and understand how cities and developed countries are built, it’s not a business venture but they only create an enabling environment for people to come in and for business to thrive while the government can get the returns from a more industrialized and commercial activity afterwards.

Direct labor and open bidding are other options that could have been used to award such to competent contractors but if the leaders continue to think it is a business venture for profit making , I can tell you for free that the region will remain underdeveloped for more years to come ..

There is no sensible human being that would sign mou on mono rail, read the financial implications and then continue the project

Even if you charge people 5000/km you won't still break even in 100 years

It's stupidity

No rail line in nigeria makes 30% it's runkng cost not talk about break even
Please pay attention to developments of basic infrastructures to make the environment and life more easier for people . Governance is not a business venture but to make an environment conducive for people and businesses to thrive , this will give people the sense of belonging and stop running away from the region.
Stop thinking like a business man in governance and how to save money…

One of them is culture and believe system of the host community
Allow the people practice what they believe and never condemn it otherwise you may create more enemies than friends

Start quitting churches were the pastors are either campaigning for Tinubu or sitting on the fence in this 2023 election.

These pastors have shown not to believe in what they preach.

I expect christians to start leaving church like Redeemed Christian Church of God, because the GO has demonstrated to be a man of indecision.
Please lets learnt to respect and allow other people choices and opinion.
We are practicing democracy and not any other system of government so diverse opinions are allowed.
This is my candid opinion to this message.
