Lets us adopt CHINA/American/British/French you can mention as many as you can
But who will approve this implementation?
The same set of legislators? i pity this nation

The man has checked all possibilities before arriving at this conclusion...without this option there is no other option because WE WILL NEVER AGREE on ANYTHING together......National COMFAB comes to mind......the real critical cause of our problem was left unattended.

[size=8pt]DO you now see the reason why legislation in this country should be on part time basis?
How many of us who are in paid employment can leave his or her job for Harvard without being on study leave and still be receiving full payment.

Only in Nigeria!

Politics / Re: Presidency Insists Judges Must Step Down For Trial by jfking2005(m): 7:32am On Oct 24, 2016
SoNature:
This country must be run through the rule of law else we are all finished.

The Nigerian Constitution empowered National Judicial Council to suspend judges from the position so that they are prosecuted.

You don't suspend a judge based on sentiments and emotions. If the DSS is serious about their claims, they should formally tender the evidence to the Council.

Countries are built on laws not sentiments, hearsay, emotions, and media trials.

We must get it right in this country...DSS should tender the evidence to hasten their prosecution and end this drama.

I hope you read the way the same NJC handled previous pettitions against some judges before?
Always utilize that common sense and dont expect different result using the same approach..
This is Nigeria.... understand the way the game is played here..
We have a failed institution already..

Politics / Re: Cross Rivers State Gov Suspends Commissioner Indefinitely For Lateness by jfking2005(m): 5:25pm On Aug 16, 2016
metronaija3:

Cross Rivers state governor, Ben Ayade, today suspended the Commissioner of Water Resources in the state, Ntufam Ojie and the Managing Director of the state's Water Board Limited, Oju Igile, indefinitely, over their lateness to work. The Governor at about 9am paid an unscheduled visit to the ministry and on getting there, he was told that the commissioner and Igile had not resumed for the day. Ayade while speaking to newsmen, said such acts of indiscipline will not be tolerated.
“This is about 9 o’clock in the morning and the Commissioner for Water Resources is not at his duty post. The managing director of state Water Board is not in the office. I cannot understand why he is not in the office. I, therefore, with immediate effect, announce his suspension. We will appoint somebody to take over this office with immediate effect. Any commissioner I find in this circumstance will leave”he said

Many of you supporting these criminals I really pity your exitence, is either your are not from ND or does not live there. Shell just drop nothing less 1000 commynity contractor workers (tea girls, cleaners, grass cutters, electricians, plumbers, driversetc) and drop more than 40 contractors who are also employers of labour while some where lucky to go home with 500k as pay off some went home empty hand. The major reason for this is low production and destruction of pipe lines by this criminals. Note the least paid among these set of unskilled workers earn 45k which some graduates beg to earn in some organization. What you guys don't know when shell sneeze the whole town feels it ask people in warri what become of warri when shell left.

Ask those blowing up everywhere for only 2-3 year plan for the ND region, i can bet you they were only thought how to destroy their region, negotiate get some cash in return then go to another man's land and invest the cash there after that another set will spring up..
They think after blowing it up it is very easy to start afresh.....leave them and allow them to continue the world is leaving oil behind looking for other source of energy, they will drink it when the country diversify.

Just my advise.

Waoh!! interesting topic.

If i hadn't been there i would have been confused a lot more. But thank God i have 2 experiences, I bought my w202 c class Nigerian use , the painting work was scratched so i decided and gave it a neat spraying job but not a very expensive type like the amount mentioned here. I spotted a dude who does it well over here and he did it for me . This is the 3rd year and i bet you it will still remain like that for the next 10 years, my car is only looking finer by the day. Out of gratitude, i introduce 4 more guys to him a jaguar guy amongst them who inherited from his Dad, the guy did his and the jaquar turns new and he was able to sell at a very good price and went for a car he could maintain.

Out of the four of us, my car still stands out as the best amongst them. People keep on asking me if i respray it every now and then. So the other 3 guys came to me for advice and i put them through , now they are very happy with their cars still looking good except one of them who had already mess his with all sort of lines and scratches here and there, an honda EOD, and i kept on wondering how he did such a mess.

The bottom line is, some guys knows their onions , they may not even be expensive like this dude, but make sure you delibrately allow them room to make some profit for themselves , a craft man deserve this. Don't drag price with an honest painter.

There are ways to maintain your car paint, don't use dry dusty/sandy rag to mess the paint work (the clear coat) . Is either you wash it with a soft clothe(microfiber clothe) or you leave it untill you have time to do so with plenty of water . Use mild liquid soap, preferably car wash but not detergent nor toilet/key soap except for the tyres.

Always mop up the water from the clear coat with a clean wet microfiber clothe to dry after rinsing out the surd, and preferably with an hydrate spayed on the microfiber clothe if you have one , it help protect the paint and maintains the clear coat from harsh conditions and extreme sunlight.

Once in a while(every 6 month) you could wax it to bring out the painting. Never wake up in the morning and just decide to use any rag to rub off the morning dew in the name of cleaning the car. Nothing kills and scratches paint work than this kind of habit. Leave it if you don't have the time to wash, then wash it later.

Tales by moonlight. This was how they hyped Fashola with barely nothing accomplished in Lagos. Private individual build road without praise or reimbursement from the govt. I wonder why Ambode should be praised for being a failure.
Please OP does Ambode think that all highways in Lagos are motorable ? If he knows they are not why wait till he pass by each one before instructing contractors to move to site ? And that is for just major road what about the intra city roads ?

You need to change the way you reason to progress in life.
That Road belong to Fed govt but he choose to make life easy for the people and not wait till fed govt is ready.
