For so long have I held the conviction that the black man has all the trappings of wickedness and malevolence in him. He would destroy at will and fight for no reason. He loves God but harbours all the vices that are found in the Devil's catalogue.

To the black man,life is existentially a goal that must be attained at all cost . He must live in the most furnished house,ride the most expensive cars ,patronise the most beautiful ladies, and pride himself in his connoisseurship . When he is unable to achieve all of these,then life becomes existentially meaningless. What an existential creature of God in need of God's intervention.

If life was fair to everyone ,there would be no grudges to hold ,no enemies to battle,no envy to nurture and no jealousy to stir;there would be true love,more kindness, more peace,more happiness and more bliss. But life throws pebbles at us ,breaks us ,torments us and flatters us.

Since life is not fair at all ,we hold grudges, we taunt our enemies, our world is thick with envy,we are driven by jealousy,we can't trust our neck to a neighbour's razor,we know not the value of kindness, we are at war with ourselves and the world, we call grapes sour,and unhappy we are alive and in death.

I'm Yoruba and I want to keep a straight face in admitting that UNN is the very first indigenous degree-awarding university on our soil.

This story has lost all credibility because of the writer's hidden contempt for Islam . By trying to moralise Christianity as the only source of morality or good deeds you have killed the lessons of your story.
