Question is WHY?

1.) Yiibos are arrogant and an arrogant person never sees his own failings: They blame Yorubas for all their failings, forgeting that "owo'wni laf'intun iwa ara'eni se (Your destiny is in your own hands). The Yiibos keep commiting a lot of blunders, but are too arrogant ot accept responsibility for it. It is easier for them to Blame Yourbas, hence the Hatred.

2.) After the civil war, Yiibos have been plotting to "push" Yorubas into a war that would decimate Yorubas. But Yorubas are just too smart for their antics and this makes them really angry!
Are you surprised they always say Yorubas are "cowards"? ....simply because they REFUSED to take the Bait!
The average Yiibo has a "soft button" which you can easily push and he will go out of control completely!
It is only after he has committed many gaffs that he will realize his error (while still not accepting it). That is "Gra-Gra" for you

Yorubas on the other hand are very "cerebral" and like to "think things over first" before acting! And we all know that such people hardly make mistakes.
This is what the "Gra-Gra" Yiibos foolishly term as 'cowardice'!
The Yiibos hate Yorubas for this as well.
They are really frustrated that the average Yorbas cannot be tricked, baited or pushed into doing something he/she does not intentionally want to do.

3.)The Yiibos also hate the Yorubas because they think it was the Yorubas (using their top-notch cerebral power!) that made them lose the war!
To be honest, the Yorubas knew that they were not ready for the secession and told the Yiibos to "relax and not act now".
but as usual, the Gra-gra nation would hear nothing of that. They Boastful lot act first and think later so they went ahead.
Foolishly again, they were hoping the Yorubas would also be foolish and join them in seceding but the Yorubas looked around and knew that all the Western military garrisons have been populated with Northerners and they hold the Key to the armoury in the West!
Being smart people, they knew that "you cant start a war you can finish/win"........ and you cant win when you dont have the key to the weapon's store!
Yorubas decided to adopt the tried and tested cliche: "When the hand of a child has not beheld 'the Sword', he does not investigates his father's death".
The Yiibos started their foolish Biafra war and because they were losing and could not get Yoruba-support (Yorubas just stood aloof initially and it was strictly a Hausa vs. Yiibo war), they decided to "force the Yorubas" into fighting by bombing Western regions (Lagos, Benin, Ondo, e.t.c).
Yorubas gave them ample warnings but in their usual "miscalculative Gra-Gra", they kept pulling the Tiger's tail.
The long and short of it was that the Yorubas had no other choice than to defend their father's land and were drawn into the war.
Within a short time of entering the war, the Yiibos were completely decimated by a combination of "strategic, financial and military" manourvres initiated by Yorubas and the war came to a swift end: SURRENDER OF THE IGBO NATION.... to a Yoruba man by name Olusegun Obasanjo (OBJ).
For the above, the Yiibos have an eternal hatred for the Yorubas but like l said, they failed to accept responsibility for their failure to "control their anger, go into war unprepared, and their foolish military strategy of attacking the Western Regions of Yorubaland".

4.) The Yiibos, having failed in their political brinkmanship, having failed to "build bridges", having lost the TRUST of other tribes, especially that of Northerners, (no one can trust a Yiibo man as a President of Nigeria! they mostly claim not ot be Nigerians sef!!)....see Goatluck Jonathan as the "closest they can get to the Presidency, despite the fact that it was actually the Yorubas that "made" Jonathan to be president (from OBJ selecting him for Yar Ardua, to notable Yorubas calling the bluff of Turai and her Northern cabals when they decided to field another Northerner, instead of allowing Jonathan succeed Yar Ardua! yes, Yorubas put their life on the line to make Jonathan the President in 2009 but the ungrateful oaf treacherously insulted Yorubas in return..... and we taught him a lesson in 2015 too, in return! )

So, the Yiibos see Jonathan as the closest they can get to "Aso Rock", as President of Nigeria!
Now, he was also playing their game and also had a sinister agenda to bankrupt Nigeria as a country, lead it into "chaos" and then declare a Republic of the South-South (which the Yiibos dont mind as long as they can also use the opportunity to declare Biafra but in the long run, they intend to annex the Niger Delta, just like they did in 1967-69 civil war).
So, it was a shock, a rude one at that, that the Yorubas again, were instrumental in kicking Jonathan out of Power!
To them, it was like kicking Ojukwu out of Aso Rock, not minding that the Jonathan of a guy was a curse on this country, despite the amount of goodwill or goodluck that brought him to become President!
Thus, the hatred just got compounded!

Now that buhari is President, the Yiibos are really angry because most of them get rich through corrupt means (they call it 'hustle' or 'business', even if it is drug trafficking!) and Buhari is really tackling corruption and closing all the loopholes. be it by forex round-tripping, illegal import business, e.t.c.
The Yiibos blame Yorubas for this "badluck" of theirs, as a result of fighting corruption!
They are naturally "at home" with corruption and Buhari is their nemesis.

So, worry-not, the Yiibos have a lot of "dubious reasons" to hate Yorubas!
Having said that, the Yiibos can do nothing, achieve nothing .... except they either make peace with the Yorubas (at least they can never elect a President within Nigeria except with the support of Yorubas)...the alternative is to secede but we all know they are not really interested in that, all the Biafra noise is just what it is: FRAUD!
if they really want to hold-onto their Biafra enclave, they would just issue an edict like : No Yiibo must come back to the West or other parts of Nigeria, when they went home for Xmas and New Year!
The fact that they are ready to pay extortionist price (through the greed of their "blood blodders" like #13,000 just to transport themselves back to Lagos, from Onitsha....... is indicative enough that Biafra is a "fraudulent game" being played by Yiibos, against Yiibos and for Yiibos!

Dont get bothered. They would make 'some' noise, misbehave, beat-chest, do some gra-gra at the Police, get shot, cry like babies and finally BLAME IT ON YORUBAS!
