Now, I can confirm there a lots of Hippocrates in Nigeria.
Have we forgotten so soon the periods when CAN was holding different crusaders across Nigeria? I can never forget Ilorin for Christ, Iwo for Christ and muslims didn't raise any eyebrow about it. Have u lost ur mind? What has holding Christian crusades across the nation got to do with Kerry's official visit? Dont muslims hold islamic crusades across the nation too? You muslims that frequently block the public roads, who has ever complained uh? |

mrkayusfit: Rustlers are escaping terrorists fleeing the north east due to military onslaught. They attack herdmens who uses mere sticks to guide cattles and steal their cattles to disguise as herdsmen coming down south while they continue recking havoc on communities they encounter Thank u. This is quite informative. |

mrkayusfit: All i know is fulani's are peaceful people. Those atrocities are caused by cattle rustlers, not fulani herdsmen. The fulanis have the right to live and work any where in the country like every Nigerian. Stigmatizing them will make no difference. We have kidnappers in the east, armed robbers every where and militants in the SS but people tend to demonize fulanis just because they rear cattles for our consumption. We need to support the grazing bill so we can create lands for them in every local government all over Nigeria. We should also apologize to the fulani tribe for unnecessary insults we hurl at them Pls educate me on this, what's the difference between cattle rustlers and fulani herdsmen? Furthermore, is cattle rearing a private business? If yes, why should we support the grazing bill which allows the govt to forcefully take over pple's land and spend billions of tax payer's naira ? Pls do not let sentiments to becloud your sense of reasoning and judgement. Thank you |

Abagworo: Food is cheap in the North. He should visit Rivers State to make unbiased analysis. IMHO the hardship thing is overblown because of politics. The rate of new houses springing up in Owerri and Port Harcourt puts a question mark on the level of hardship. I have a feeling it is felt more by civil servants and traders who depend on foreign exchange. Food is cheap in d north abi? Oya port come north. I live in the north and nothing is f*cking cheap here ok. 4litres of red oil is now 2,500 against 1,200, bag of rice is 18k agains 9k, mudu of gari is 400 against 180, prices of kerosine, seasonings, fish, meat, yam, semo, noodles, tomato paste , pure water, spaghetti, vegetable oil etc have all skyrocked and you are here saying food is cheap in the north. Oya come live for d north u go know how far. Infact , na dey core northerners complain pass, cus its not easy for them at all.... |

mrvitalis: Enough of this 18000 minimum wage... Who earns that in the fedral or State services That's level 1 step 1 no body earns that am sure of that.. . Even a ssc holder in government earns over 40k... That's over 480k per month.. If u foolishly think u can get married to a house wife with this... why should u disturb someone?? With 480k per year anyone will survive.. .
We are just too bad in these country... What's concerns dollar and garri?? Meat?? Even fish that is imported didn't increase much in price Compared to garri.... OMG!!! U have lost touch with reality. Am sure ur parent married 4u. And why shouldnt exchange rate affect the prices of gari, fish etc? Those selling those items pay bills and also buy other things whose prices have gone up cus of d exchange rate. So there is need to increase their own prices in order to survive. |

nkowaputa: The ram seller will have to pay rent from the proceed, move around (transport), pay light bill, buy bag of rice. The seller has to survive in Nigeria. Everything in Nigeria has gone up. He needs to make enough money to survive in Nigeria so he raises the price. God bless you my brother for your simple analogy. You and I are on the same page. |

Empiree: First all, every nigerian buy goods from abroad?. Second, this is the reason govt needs to encourage agriculture locally and I will support banning large import of goods (to sell) in nigeria. Ingenious should be encouraged to produce from within by using their brain. You are making other countries rich by importing food product. Nigeria should NEVER allowed that. They have all that locally but no one wants to farm or herds livestocks Bro, u did not understand my take. I deal in ram as my business which is my source of livelyhood, now I go to the market to buy other products for consumption and prices of those things have gone up, I will definately increase the prices of my ram. |
Business › Re: Ed-el-kabir 2016: See The Prices Of Rams Across Nigeria Today by Jidibia(m): 6:28pm On Sep 05, 2016 |
Empiree: In my humble- honest opinion, dollar's rise should NEVER ever impact local market. Govt should have been firm on price control regardless. And they should make gas available for transporting Rams at very low rate.
Dollar rates or not should only be a matter btw govt and international countries. Anyways, the reason i am here is to get price for a BIG RAM in Ogun State. When i said BIG, I meant like this.
Any idea please? The reason why dollar should affect local market is this: I cannot sell my locally produced goods for cheap, while I buy imported goods at exorbitant prices. If I do that I will find it difficult to cope with the current economy situation. |

Keneking: Ordinary ram, by Christmas, most Christians would be buying rice for N35,000 per bag
- do we import rams? - what does rams got to do with dollars? - are the meals imported? - has the transport cost for moving rams suddenly jumped by more than 200%?
what have we done to deserve this treatment in Nigeria? We do not import rams, agreed. But those ram sellers also buy other imported products whose prices have skyrocked, so they had to increase the prices of their rams as well in order to keep up with the reality on ground. |

I kno I much I used to buy Garri, Sugar, Rice and even Beans before and I know I much they all cost now. Blaming Buhari won't solve the problem boss, we have to start looking inwards for solution, we've relied too much on imports for the past 3 decades or so, it's taking it's toll on us now. We have to start encouraging home made, see m not even hoping on Buhari anymore, it's God and ourselves. No man would have won the election and not find himself in this kinda situation. That's the point m trying to drive home, we're just going to be wasting our tym thinking Buhari can do magic. The problem is with us. Thanks for not using any abusive language on me anymore, I'm sorry for the ones I've used on you. M Nt always like that.
