See, the foreign observers didn't allege that election was rigged, they said there were logistics problems, observers weren't allowed inside collation center etc.. Then the observers said they interviewed pdp's party agents that later told them their own results varied from what inec released.. The obeservers didn't say their own results vary.

Both parties were inducing voters, so what are we saying.. It's not as if pdp weren't inducing voters too.
Besides all these things has been happening since.
Let's not talk as if it's a new thing in buhari's era
Fine, so where is the change? So buhari was voted for to continue with the atrocities of electoral malpractice right? I thought he (buhari) is a man of integrity. Oh now I see. Anyways, I am done on this issue.

Politics is like football, u win some and also lose some. Imagine him, working against Fashola as a minister, who many Nigerian's regard just because of his rising profile. I see him as a selfish leader who don't want anybody to b above him in Lagos and entire south west. Haven gotten the slot of vice president, he still wanted to corner senate president and speakership too, just because of his selfishness. APC today is a formation of different political bloc, so there is no way he can bosses over everybody. The way he contributed to d suceess of the part is how other did too. Imagine Ameachi almost laid his life and don't you think if GEJ had won, his treatment would have been worser than Ibori. We also have d likes of Oshiomohle, Okorocha, Elrufai, Saraki and many more who also played very vital role. This set of people cannot bow to Tinubu anyday and anytime but dey will surely respect him for his saagacity and doggedness only if he humbled himself.
Nice points there but your work needs editorial fine tuning.

Your problem is you're so arrogant that it will take a lot to accurately measure your ignorance.

USA? UK? You think they don't sell their vote?

Next thing u will tell us AMERICAN police don't carry out extrajudicial killings or collect "egunje" from criminals.

Actually it's you who should be slapped for believing observations from foreigners can be used as grounds for cancellation of polls.

You and other amnesia plagued pdp supporters conveniently forget that various international observers called for the outright cancellation of 2015 rivers election... what happened?
If US democracy were like that of Nigeria, Obama would never have won. So tell me where you have seen or heard that politicians shared dollars to voters openly to buy votes on election days in America? Your ignorance has no antidote so continue okay.

What intelligent points did he posit if you're not being biased?

I honestly don't get it, is it that you guyz are new to happenings in our political space or what? Our democracy died with the exit of GEJ? Oh please shush if you have nothing meaningful and sensible to say.

Perhaps you haven't got experiences, i mean first hand experience so stop painting one administration black while showering the other with encomiums.

GEJ was not saint and elections have never been free and fair in Nigeria, never ever.
If you have got a lot of energy to burn, please I ain't got non to burn okay. I never told you elections have been free and fair in Nigeria before. But sharing money openly while our security agents watched speaks volumes. And it pisses me off when people come here to say no part of the world where elections are free and fair. They should just say its only African continent and not the entire world. So even with the introduction of card readers we can't still conduct 90% free and fair elections in this 21st century?

My point is that the PDP can head to court and let's see what happens. I know that election observers can't cancel an already announced result.

And for your last paragraph, I have witnessed many elections in nigeria and anytime any party agent want to induce voters on election day, they usually do it with the mindset that they could be arrested. What they do is to negotiate with you in the voting field and then they move you to a spot that is hidden, away from security operatives and public before giving you cash. This is the first election I've seen where money was openly shared in the public. Right in full public glare. In the presence of INEC officials and SECURITY operatives. Right in the voting arena.
Thank you for your intelligent points. Don't even know what to say that guy. Would have taken it personal and insulted the hell out of him, but I just remembered most of the mods on this forum are APC, and I don't wanna be ban now.
Politics › Re: Foreign Observers Fault Conduct Of Edo Election by Jidibia(m):

Sorry but you are wrong. Observations made by election observers are not a valid grounds for cancelling election but for improvement in subsequent elections. Only the tribunal or an appelate court can cancel an election result once it is declared by INEC.

You should also understand that no election is perfect anywhere in the world. That is why the law always provides a mechanism through which aggrieved parties can seek redress when they are not satisfied with the outcome of an election.

The last part of your comment is very funny. You talk as if you are not a Nigerian and this is the first time you will be hearing about party agents inducing voters with money and canvassing for votes on election day. It is nothing new and the observers observed correctly that the two parties were guilty.
Like seriously, I feel like slapping you. Just listen to the rubbish you typed there. These can't happen in USA and the UK.

Look my brother, I don't give a rat about PDP or APC. When I first heard that media men and some party's agent were not allowed into the collation centre, I thought it was a lie because the complains came from PDP agents. If its found to be true, the election should be out rightly cancelled. There is nothing for INEC to improve on there, that is not how elections have been conducted in Nigeria.

As for money that was flying around. I was really surprised because I thought there was a law that stated that there should not be any form of campaigning on the day of voting. On that day people were openly canvassing for votes while the security men watched HELPLESSLY
Hmmm even the security agents were compromised. They have already collected their own shares of the monies. May God save this country.
