If u are trading indices, use Dow Jones newswire. For currency pairs use ..Moneycontrol,Reuters, Bloomberg,finance magnates and tradingeconomics. Just go through them and pick one or two.

Looking at what happened ydae on FOMC,

Trying to get a system which is 20-40 pips stop loss and take profit between 1pm-3pm is very difficult.

Instead, do this...

Choose anyone but focus on learning either ICT or supply and demand levels.

If it's supply and demand levels, focus on finding the levels with 4h, daily, weekly and monthly and wide stop loss of like 100 pips on either pair.

A good book on supply and demand is three lines forecasting by R. Rana (available on LibGen)

Combine that with candlestick knowledge on 4h chart primarily.

You can finish reading Rana's book in a day and start practicing the concept on either pair with 100 pips stop loss and partial entry.

Since you have a cscs account, check the cscs statement, the name of the stockbroker will be there. You can find out if they are still active or dead or visit CSCS at the stock exchange building to ask for a printout of your cscs statement. Go along with a means of identification. If you are not in Lagos, send a mail to cscs asking for your statement, Please note this comes with a fee.

For the dividends, you can download and complete the e-mandate form from Meristem, Pace, and Africa Prudential registrars respectively to claim the dividends from the companies you mentioned. Note: for the UBA dividend, you can complete the mandate form from Africa Prudential Reegistrars' website.

The other >350 words.

The other one is about a writing/interpreting a real life graph and the other is just about two arguements..

You need to learn structuring of statements.

Should have done this since. Been following this thread since last year, but finally wrote my tests on June 4th. I was only able to prepare fully a week to the exam dates. I just want to say thank you to everyone that has posted something or shared experiences and tips here. God bless you! I wrote computer based tests(Academic) and had the following results.

Listening: 8.5
Speaking: 8.0
Writing: 7.5
Reading: 7.0

Overall: 8.0

I prepared more for reading as it is apparent and also read to familiarize myself with some speaking topics on IELTSwithLiz and IELTSbuddy (sites I only got to know of from this thread) just 2 days to the exam. For writing, I didn’t prepare at all as I felt I was good in that field already, so I only read up on how to structure the essays. For reading however, I couldn’t grasp how that part went, whenever I tried to prepare, I would always get a band 7.5 or 7.0, I later saw tips on how to answer some reading questions on IELTSwithLiz but I had already giving up on that part of the test, plus I was so pressed on the day of the exam and the comprehension passages looked like Spanish.

All in all, I am thankful for the help and support here. The only advice I have is if you know you do not shine in all of the test parameters, start preparing early and intensify efforts on the parameters you feel you would easily excel in. Personally I feel it is easy to get a high band score in listening and speaking if you pay undivided attention and if you speak freely and friendly as how you would to a friend without cramming or using big and unfamiliar words. Also please take a bottle of water along if you easily get dehydrated and do well to take a pee before the exam.

You can't go wrong with coding. It pays serious cash.

Have a friend who started a dev career after our first degree while I jettisoned back to med school. Dudes in Germany now banging fresh white pussy while I'm here struggling with ASUU strike.

Copy writing. Digital marketing. Data entry and all that stuff might be easier to get into but they don't have the solid career path nor the financial reward that comes with coding.

Struggle to get a laptop that can do the basics right and drown yourself with all the coding tutorials you can find. Stick to this and you'll thank me in 2 years Max.
That's if you're intelligent and smart of course. Coding needs a smart and analytic mind.

Learn high paying skills. Skills like
- Copywriting
- Content writing
- Data science and analytics
- Web development and design
- UX writing
- Virtual assistant
- Email marketing
- Social Media management
- Coding
- Graphic design

Become a badass in one or two of these skills, then start offering them as services to clients on Upwork. There's mad money in these skills.

For example, I do content writing in the tech and games niche and I've made a pretty good amount since I started.

Also, some of these skills especially writing do not need a laptop. By just using your smartphones, you can actually earn hundreds of dollars every month.
