Literature / Oh My Africa (a Poem) by Jinali(m): 9:51am On Jun 15, 2019
In thy fertile land I was born,
Strong blood & strong bones,
My dark skin made resilient by sun burns,

I am a proud African man,
A land of ancient & modern wisdom,
A land of Physics & Metaphysics,
A land of riches of ages,

I believe in Chukwu (God) & my name is Chukwunonye,
I am a Juju man not a Jew,
I do Science & I do magic,
I do Arts for everything changes,

Technology is a name; its art we created,
In Africa many came seeking wisdom & Power,
Jesus came,
Thales came,
Socrates came,
From Socrates to Plato,
From Plato to Aristotle,
Only a Fool rejects the teacher & accepts the student!

I am Africa,
I am Igbo,
I am Ancient & Modern,
I am a High Priest not in the order of Melchizedek,
But a High Priest in the order of my divine Ancestors!
Live & let live!

Politics / Why Defeat Of APC Or PDP Should Not Determine How Free & Fair 2019 Election Is by Jinali(m): 7:34am On Feb 13, 2019
Some section of Nigerian youths have recently voiced that their measuring rod of determining if the up coming presidential election is free and fair is only if President Muhammadu Buhari of APC loses this 2019 Presidential election. This is a call for restraint and balanced view of the situation.

It is noteworthy that APC still stands a chance to win the Presidential election the same way PDP and other political parties have chances of winning. As it is evident in the photo bellow, South West, with a total of 7 states has the highest number of registered voters in Nigeria according to INEC. Out of all the 7 states in the North West, 6 sates are under the control of APC with 1 State being under the control of PDP.

South West with the second largest number of registered voters and 6 States are all under the control of APC.

PDP has major control in South South and South East. Meanwhile it is noteworthy that in 2015 even though APC lost election in South Eastern states, yet it won the 2015 general election. South South also has lesser number of eligible voters than regions controlled by APC.

FCT, Abuja and Anambra State are also places of interest. The FCT is actually a strong hold and seat of power of APC while Anambra State which will likely vote majorly for PDP because of its Vice Presidential Candidate who hail from the state is still a place of interest as its APGA Governor, Obiano is currently campaigning and supporting APC presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari. APC can still fairly win the upcoming election irrespective of online opinions; and Nigerians should not listen to anyone who may claim that such outcome signifies election irregularities and their that they should rise up in arms.

Majority of Nigerian voters are not on social media and some of them who are on social media channels do not comment or voice their political views. Wait for official election results from The Independent Electoral Commission, INEC after the election. Go out and vote on the election day and not just on social media polls.

Let no Nigeria see the winning or losing of any candidate of a political party as the yardstick to measure how free and fair this election will be. No political party has monopoly over winning.
No political candidate is worth you blood. Life First!
This is not a campaign for APC, PDP or any other political party. This is a call for Peace After This Upcoming Election!

Politics / Re: President Muhamadu Buhari Would Win 2019 Presidential Election - Leadership News by Jinali(m): 4:14am On Feb 04, 2019
Buhari has more real supporters than most people can imagine. The main people that will cast the votes that will secure his victory margin are unfortunately not on the internet. They don't comment here but their vote will really turn things in Buhari's favour. Votes from north East will favour him with close to 80% of total votes.

Politics / The Moment Buhari Handed Over Flag & Endorsed Imo APC Candidate Yesterday by Jinali(m): 12:35pm On Jan 30, 2019
Recall that some photos and video clip were shared yesterday on this platform alleging that President Muhammadu Buhari has endorsed the son in-law of Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State who is a governorship candidate of another political party, Action Alliance (AA). The posts claimed that the President shunned Senator Hope Uzodinma who is the APC governorship candidate in Imo State.

New photos and video evidence have emerged which proves otherwise. In the video and photos, Senator Hope Uzodinma who is opposed by the incumbent governor who is the father in-law of the AA candidate, Uche Nwosu, is seen being handed over the APC flag by the President who addressed him as the APC candidate in Imo State and endorsed him to the cheering of the crowd who despite the rain came out in large numbers to witness the event.

Meanwhile, it is worthwhile to note that Rochas Okorocha's son in-law was not allowed to be on the stage with the President as you can see in the photos and the video because he is officially not a member of APC. The photos of the President and the Rochas's son in-law which were circulated by his supporters as a proof of endorsement by the President yesterday was actually taken at the government house. Uche Nwosu, the AA candidate is the current Chief of Staff to the Imo State government, a position given to him by his father in-law, the governor. Also notice that APC flag was visibly placed behind the President when he took the photo with Uche Nwosu and his wife at the government house after the lunch.

Politics / You Are Wasting Your Time, Charly Boy Tells IPOB, Biafran Agitators by Jinali(m): 11:43am On Jul 25, 2017
Musician and Activist, Charly boy Oputa has admonished people of the
South-East to abandon the struggle for Biafra. He said it was a waste of
time.

Speaking with Sun, the social rights activists advised Igbos to devote
their time to other productive ventures instead of agitating for Biafra.
He said, “Unfortunately, the dreams of nationhood is lost on the altar of
deception, and my Igbo brothers must be circumspect on the fact and
history, and not be hoodwinked into some insane propaganda that will only
lead to more wahala.

“So, instead of Biafra, we should channel our energies and abilities
towards developing the South-east to become the economic hub of Nigeria.
Igbo nation and my people are great but for us to move forward we must
kill our individualistic tendencies and come together to do great things.

“The fall of Biafra after the genocide, starvation, and immense suffering
of my people should teach us something. I believe the failure of the Igbo
nation is the fault of the people, her so-called elites and
decision-makers.

“Why have we not poured our energy, capacity and ability into making the
South-east the Dubai of the nation as well as the engine room of the
Nigerian economy? Who would be our leaders when the South-east is infested
with political power-grabbers, 419ers, mindless criminals and looters of
our commonwealth and resources? Need I mention names?

“Our problem is the lack of men of integrity and a progressive mindset. We
lack the right kind of leadership that will fight for the interest of the
people. Let it be clear to all that the sufferings and poverty of the
people of the South-east are also the sufferings and poverty of the
peoples of the other geopolitical zones in Nigeria, including my northern
brothers.

“Even the nascent anti-corruption fight in the country has seen all tribe
accordingly represented. It is therefore retrospectively insane to begin
to think that a people with a problem would suddenly be relieved when they
are attached with a tag#BIAFRA; Abegi.

“Therefore, I insist that our mumu don do because the failure of
leadership is evident in our agitator fairness, justice and equality for
every Nigerian not just for every Igbo man. And so the mind of the typical
Igbo leader needs a revolution so that it can be realigned for the
interest of the people rather than the interest of a few.”

Business / A Call To Online Stores In Nigeria To Add "Product Review” On Ads By Individuals by Jinali(m): 12:23pm On Jun 28, 2017
We appreciate the efforts of some online stores in Nigeria that have taken some steps towards ensuring the safety of those who go after products advertised on their websites. However, these efforts are flawed “big time” owing to the absence of "Product Review" option on products that many individuals advertise on these websites.

Online Stores in Nigeria have done well in bringing many good products closer to consumers. However, many people have been defrauded, harassed and in some cases killed while going after products like cars, electronics, properties, etc. advertised by ill-minded individuals on some of these online stores in Nigeria.

Online Product Review is a website feature that allows people to express their views on products advertised or their past or current experience with the sellers. It also gives interested customers the option of asking questions openly regarding the products advertised. A good example is the product review option in Google Play Store. Remember that before you purchase or freely download any Application in Google Play Store, you are given the option of reading the comments/reviews of those who have purchased or freely downloaded the App before you. In online commodity stores, this makes it easy, for example, for someone who may have been defrauded or harassed while going after a product to openly share his or her experience where other interested buyers can read the review and take precaution, thereby insuring they don’t be a victim of the same act.

Imaging residing in Imo State, and seeing, for example, a car advertised by someone on an online store and the individual says the car is located in Jigawa, for example. You travel all the way to Jigawa to see the vehicle and ask the seller to bring the car at a “safe location” (as most stores advise), which most likely you do not know, since you are most likely not familiar with Jigawa [for example]. On sitting inside the car, examining the interior, you feel a stiff object pressed against you and you realize that it’s a short gun. You are asked to keep quiet or die. They drive you to an unknown location and compel you to provide your ATM Card and pin. Within weeks of being in captivity, your account is emptied and you are finally released. How and where will you tell your awful experience? How will other people who saw the same car advertised know that someone just got defrauded while going for the car? Do you know that ten persons may have similar experience while going after the same car without each knowing the experience of others? This is while adding option for “Product Review” in all products advertised by individuals in online stores is very, very imperative. Different fraudulent methods may be used by ill-minded people against customers with the victims having no place to tell their experiences.

Therefore, we are strongly calling on all online stores that allow individuals to advertise products freely to add public “Product Review” option on all adds place on their websites. This will reassure consumers visiting these onlien stores of the authenticity of products advertised and increase the safety of those going after them. Thank You!
