Saintp: Most of you quoting me did not understand the point I am trying to make. What I am saying is simple . There is no excuse for failure. I am sure the next president of Nigeria will be using buhari's failure as excuse for his own failures and the cycle continues.
Since we Nigerians accept excuses for whatever ever reason, the country will not make progress. We complained of epileptic power supply in 1999, we are still complaining of it today and with the way we keep defending politicians and accepting excuses, I am sure we will be complaining of power supply in 2050. Excuses will always come to play, it's only normal, what's not normal is when after giving excuses, they don't perform. And am not seeing any administration not performing, it only depends on the angle everyone is looking at it from. |

EvilMetahuman: when someone talks like a mor0n, insult is all he deserves.. read your post again and tell me if there is any sense in it.
he is talking about magic wand to conquer insecurity when buhari has been completely lackadaisical to fulani killings, boko haram killings and all other form of killings going on in the country.
if there is fuel glut, would marketers hoard fuel to make extra illegal cash?
he talks about nepa when buhari has not even added a megawatt to the installed capacity we have already.
who asked him to have magic wand? mumu like you. Lol...i know you'll have to justify your position, but like I said, when matters of intellectual discussion ends up in names calling, then I understand the caliber of the person am dealing with. Am sure you are matured enough to understand that simple statement. So as an advice, even if my opinion doesn't makes sense to you, your matured level should teach you on how to respond rather than giving insults. |

A man with Over 200 cows and have no single milk or beaf factory yet lies a huge opportunity in this while we import these items yet he call himself poor. it not news you paid bastard, for your lord buhari rule Nigeria before now tell me now what did he improve,. didn't you hear he don't know how to make money, true only a man who can not covert opportunity to productivity, that man will never make money. stop this nonsense deciet of yours. for until we get those with the mastery of the 21st century economy we can never move forward. stop that nonsense of trying to draw emotions already. buhari is to uneducated to lead Nigeria. did he diversify the economy when he was busy wasting billions in searching oil in the North? we need a leader that can unite all tribes in Nigeria not nepotist. for that is the first mark to developing. unity. A country that want to develop do not need three promises it needs every good promises not three boy. I wish you can see the future of the the black race my brother you will cry to know that we are still going backward. Lol, he doesn't literarily have to be the one to create a way of generating revenue, he only needs intellects to brainstorm and get things done, all he needs is to have the will to accept whatever they decided on provided hes convinced on their findings. |

Saintp: Bros, you are saying a piece of bunkum. If as a major shareholder of a dying company and i hire you to resuscitate it, will you face the board and be giving them these bulshit excuse or would you just tender your resignation before they fire you?
The bullshit you wrote is exactly why Nigeria owned companies don't survive except ones managed by foreigners because we only know how to compare failure with failure.
Look at Nigeria as a dying company before buhari came in, he claimed he knew the problems of the company and can stop the slide and make it better. We did not beg him to come and save the country, he fought to lead to country after several attempts and you stand before us to create excuses for failure to the extent of bringing up past failure to exonerate his failure? Do you think Nigeria is all about APC and PDP, wailers and Zombies? Is that what matters to you? If I am your HR manager, I'll sack you immediately, you will be a weak link to any team because you don't even have a mindset to succeed. I repeat, there is no excuse for failure and it doesn't matter if the people before you have failed. And am sorry my brother, you think there's a quick fix to all the issues been faced by a country as big as this country. Some people talk about fixes like as if it's just a unit of the family they are talking about. Need you be reminded that no matter how good your intentions are, even coupled with actions, there are always saboteurs who will never make it work because of what they stand to gain. For every action taking to better lots and lifes, counter productive measures of unlike minds will never make it work and this baffles me as this people never take the populace at heart, they only think of themselves. A reason why we as Africans will continue to dwell in this position we've found ourselves. A brief example, a stray dog was seen in my area by a lady which she started taking care of it. Because of her financial status and the kinda breed of dog it is, I knew she can't take care of the dog so I invited someone who keeps dogs something like a kernel service provider, only for people who because are older than her not to let the dog be adopted stating that the matter has been reported to the police only for us to later find out it wasn't. Now the dog still remains where it is with no hope for it to be taking proper care of. Now this didn't just happen, it was because this so-called elders wanted something in return. We are and will continue to be the problem of ourselves, not any leader, but we the follower. |

all we are asking for now is for him to atleast solve one problem
is it insecurity? power, fuel scarcity?
he has failed to solve a single problem since he came, he deserves nothing but to be kicked out again in 2019. Lol...he should just jump inside government and tell the insurgents to stop in the name of the Lord abi or perform abracadabra with the existing power generating plants despite the actions of the state houses too, or hold the marketers hands and tell them to stop hoarding fuel. SMH for Nigerians. |

Is it Jonathan that also stopped that one? He promised to pay youths 5k monthly, Is it Jonathan that stopped that too?
Continue the blame game. Soon there will be no ammo to keep playing the game. He promised the old and vulnerable 5k, not youths, he promised youths empowerment and he's doing that via Npower, and the youths that are benefiting from this will never speak ill of it. Don't rush to judge things because of shallow understanding of the matter. |

Vivere: And may God save you from your own refusal to seek enlightenment. In this day and age, insisting on your own right to west a face veil, in the wave of growing insecurity that makes it difficult to separate evil doers from the innocent, is nothing but selfishness of the highest order, in itself. At this point dropping my pen won't be a bad idea cos I see responding to you will be like moving in circus, take you time to learn a bit about Islam and the significance of using face veil, by then I think we'll be on a level ground to discuss. No right thinking person under veil is posing a security threat to National security, before the so-called insurgent came to live, the niqab have been in use, those using it now are just a bunch of derailed and brainwashed set of mofos. They are not even Islamic fundermentalist or extremist, they are just derailed and brainwashed by unscrupulous godfathers. I guess this little enlightenment would have done a little bit of helping your clouded ignorant mind and if you want to know more, rather than using your precious mb attacking on Nairaland or other blogs/forum, invest it in doing a bit more on researches. It'll really help you. Thank you. |

Vivere: No you are the hypocrite. Wearing the full face veil makes it difficult to identify potential criminals from innocent victims. The billboard just stated that certain types of dressing were banned. Niqab is one of them. In these days of Boko Haram and insecurity, only a fanatic would persist in wearing such a thing. End of story. God save you from your level of ignorance, you know the robbers that went to rub a bank in broad daylight in Imo State had their faces covered, well I don't blame you, a reason why my precious country still remain the way it is. My advice for you is to seek for knowledge so you will be liberated. |
Education › Re: Funaab,erects A Billboard To Announce The Banning Of Niqab (face Veil) by jinneyb(m): 9:13am On Oct 19, 2017 |
People with less understanding of a religion should just keep quiet. I don't know how the use of niqab be equated to indecent dressing, that a school is bringing up rules doesn't mean they should infringe on some fundermental human rights. The bill board was erected to shun indecent dressing and not security challenges. I'm sure the designer made a mistake and the billboard will be replaced.
If you have a problem with believers of a faith based on their character or behaviour, keep it with them and not liken it to the religion. And am so sure many of these commenters have close dealings with the muslims.
Bunch of hypocrites everywhere. |

The Federal Govt is really making efforts, creating channels and expanding shores, it's only left to us the citizens to tap into there initiatives and stop being pathetic in our myopic criticism.
This particular initiative will bridge lots of gaps i.e
Cost of transportation, as major agencies will be under one umbrella;
Easy access to information concerning issues related to these agencies;
Registration of products, businesses, tax identification number and other tax related registrations will be a lot easier;
These and more...I just hope we all use it judiciously. |

luvinhubby: Fashola has just displayed the bigot in him :
You had 40 billion for Lagos - Ibadan and 12 billion for 2nd Niger bridge respectively in 2016 budget, you requested and had 26 billion released to you for Lag - Iba but did not request for a dime for 2nd Niger bridge, also, the NASS said that both projects has private partnership involvement and in your statement you said you wanted to complete all projects that you met which informed your decision to seek for total govt budgetary spending for the Lag - Iba road and you are still waiting for concessionaires to raise funding for 2nd Niger bridge.
'Expressway adding that what the Infrastructure Construction Regulatory Commission (ICRC) has is a financing agreement from a consortium of banks which is like a loan that still has to be paid back through budgetary provisions....' . The NASS was right after all, why spend the bulk of our funds on a road that you have a loan to build, it was wise for them to insist on private funding of it and spread the other funds on cluster projects that will benefit the rural dwellers which do not have alternative funding.
Thank God for the NASS that is here to checkmate the excesses of political bigots like Fashola. And who says the rural projects does not have alternate funding, and is it in anyway the jobs of the legislators in any arm to provide those infrastructures... Do you understand their functions at all, these are local government and/or state government jobs for crying out loud. Please let's not over cloud ourselves with hates and let's get our facts right. |

I crosspath an old time friend(lady), primary school friend to be precise n back then we were very close friends but lost contact immediately after the pry school due to difference in secondary school. Uno we started talking and it seemed like things never changed except age and growth...we continued our friendship and did lots together and after months of been together definitely after a lot hav been said and shared together the feeling have grown and Uno delikes, I dropped the talk, babes this one we are getting along, let's move this our thing to another level and she was like hmmmm...no ish but what's ur genotype, after talks about compatibility we discovered it can't work out, so we busted it but were still friends. We kept a bit distance after the whole stuff only to come back together and I got the shocker of my life, she changed and her rate of act up was outa this world. I was like babes Wassup now, where this thing they come from, she just lock up and as per the way we use to be and our closeness, I word her real hard although I apologised after but that didn't change her attitude so I stopped contacting only for her to just recently start sending me some messages that I don't even understand... So I was like when you knew you had this kind of thing in mind, why the act up And by virtue of age, we are mate...so to me, it all boils down to attitude and what exactly they want. |
