The way some reps sometime talk, you'll think if they are given the opportunity to take charge of a particular office, they'll deliver. You didn't invite them to know what they did to monitor the disbursed funds, how the funds disbursed are utilized by the states. They are there asking for the resignation of hands that are working tirelessly to make things work. Like as if they are not the ones enjoying the economy the most. Kicking against policies that does not favor them and shying away from those that will help the masses. Bunch of insensitive fellows. |
Pavore9:Aside from payment, other enquiries that may not be understood by the customers can also be asked. And sir, not everyone is computer literate and am sure Kenya also have offices for this apart from their online platforms. |
Pavore9:For further guidance especially those who are very new to it. |
updatechange:Like I said, let's be very factual with our criticism void of sentiments. How will you expect a gov. dispensation of 4yrs to finish all the backlog of problems from decades before. We only complain about issues that we feel are affecting us directly and don't let us forget that the issues they are solving are also affecting some people directly too. Whether they are politically inclined as some people will think does not matter because as of the time the issues were solved, everyone in that community are not of the same political believe but they will all benefit from it. Am not creating excuse for any government, am only saying that we should not rub off governments efforts simply because our own direct issues have not been addressed. As much as there were criticism about the past administrations, it also performed in its own way. What we should always hope and be optimistic about is that there is continuation in governance, a feat the LASG is enjoying. And about my resident, I am a full indigene of Ogun State. Live in Abeokuta, Schooled @ Odogbolu, Worked @ various parts like Ifo, Ewekoro, Stayed at Sango, martanal home town is Yewa and hv been to @most 18 of the 20 reg. LGs of the State. Our dear state and country @large will be great, it only depends on our individual/collective mindset towards greatness. Let's appreciate our leaders efforts, criticize constructively because we only know about what they do today we don't know about what we'll do tomorrow. It takes a very good follower to be a great leader...try and trust ur leaders now as you'll also expect such from your followers in the nearest future. Thank you. |
enigma2007:That was jus a joke though...but if they try it sha, I won't be surprised, we are in Nigeria and anything can happen. ![]() |
updatechange:Before we criticize, let's be really sure of our arguments void sentiments and be very factual. Of all the problems facing the country when OBJ assumed office, it is just the Sango-Ota road that should be fixed? If Dimeji Bankole used his influence to finish the project, it's only commendable and be enlightened that the then Gov. wanted to hijack the project as its own. As per for the current Gov. I won't blame you for your grieve, it's just to tell you that an administration cannot finish every issues facing his jurisdiction. He will do his part and others will do theirs. That's what's called governance, it's what is called continuity. He should abandon his own work and face the federal job? And after he does the federal job and unable to do his, we will be the one to criticize him again. There are faults definitely, and am sure the government too can see them. We complain simply because it's affecting us directly, but they see more than we do. They do more of analysis than we do and before they make a move on a project, they understand it's importance than we do. It's good we point out area of attention to them, but we should be more constructive in our criticism. Thank you! |
KINGwax007:Thank you ooo... |
Now FRSC have come out to say a portion of road will closed publicly, i'm waiting for the day our electricity distribution company will tell us they want to take our light publicly. |
Souljeezy:It will be reopened on Sunday. |
Champele:Really!!! |
Bolustic:As in ehn...I was travelling past that road and was like...the only thing that can cause accident here is overspeeding... Make them put bumps there ooo... ![]() |
Pavarottii:Like I said, a mud house hoping to be remoulded with blocks will definitely experience partial if not full destruction, and while in the process, the hardship and pains the inhabitants will experience may be unbearable. I'm not here to defend anyone, my take here is that jus because we experience difficulties presently as a result of what could have been done far before does not mean the current people in power are not doing their best. I'm also a victim cos am an entrepreneur and also a bachelor, things are not easy with me compared with the way things were before, but is it by throwing the baby away with the water that'll bring about the solutions to the current situation? If their actions have not for now yielded any visible result to you does not mean they've not done anything cos sometimes finding a short term solution to a long term problem may not be appropriate. We try as much as possible to adapt to situations by cutting our coat according to our cloth and not according to our size as the current experience will not last forever. We don't run away from issues, we find ways to tackle them, and if the current dispensation after their tenure are unable to achieve their aims, then let your thumb do the talking. A very responsible father and the head of the house will never do what will bring doom to his family. Shying away from realities of now compared with past situations before passing our judgement should be checked. We the followers also have our part to play in the development of our great nation. Our orientation should also change from what will d environment do for us to what we can do for our environment. If we want things to get better, then we should start with the way we think and assess situations. Our leaders are there today with their agenda, it'll be our turn tomorrow and we'll also ask our followers to believe and trust in us. Things will get better, all we need is to be optimistic. Thank you. |
SamuelAnyawu:Nice achievement by Jonathan, and Buhari did this without disrupting or dismantling what GEJ did. Sir! It's called continuation and development. Thank you! |
Pavarottii:Your point exactly sir is... That there is nothing at all to prove that this administration is working right. I won't totally fault your analysis and conclusion as expectations from all and sundry was and still is at the peak. Am not trying to defend the administration, but from my understanding of things in general is that for a structure to be restructured, a bit of initial pains needs to be experienced. And that to say the administration is not working @all for the betterment of the country is not adequate, if only we can see beyond our sentiments and be factual about things. I feel the time of cosmetics restructuring is over and a dawn of full revamp is around. Our hope should be that our leaders should get things right especially the way they hope it will work. We need to pray for our leaders and assist them achieve their aims. Criticism is okay for progress, but we should ensure its constructive. Thank you! |
maj007:A good leader should be in charge of proceedings of wherever he presides. By been vindictive or using vile descriptions on followers, If i'm going by the actual meaning of being vindictive, my question is at what stage or time, he has what he wants back to back, so I see no reason why he should, by using vile descriptions on followers publicly, our interpretation of what he said differs and it depends on the angle we view things from. And his descriptions might been taken out of context. I believe a leader like him understands the gravity of every word that comes out of his mouth so before he makes a statement, it would have been adequately thought through. On public protests and decisions, i'm sure if protests were taken through proper channels, he has no right to shy away from them. About decisions, what you think is wrong may be right to him, and before he makes decisions, his team would have had different inputs. About your vote, you made a decision to vote him then, the coming elections may not directly affect him. Thank you! NB: This is not about been a supporter or not, we all know how Ogun State was before, and where it is now. |
ade2008:Really? Please state your reasons. |
vosquare:When things are going right, we never comment, shying away from the negatives at that stance, expecially when it favors us, but when situation changes, simply maybe because it does not favor us, then the actor in question becomes a devil. If you didn't vote for him at all, I won't be surprised, but if you did voted for him, then you have your reasons for doing so based on what you saw in him, and if things have a little tilt in his decisions now, I want you to give that understand you had for him for voting to comprehend what's happening now. If he does pays salaries before and he's not paying now due to challenges he's facing, i'm sure he'll get it right, no one wants to build a house and watch it perish right before him. If you think he focused his attention on the state capital alone, then please help me answer this question, if the capital city is not befitting, where should be? And your assumption is not totally right with evidential proof, unless you want to shy away from it. NB: This is not about been a supporter or not, we all know how Ogun State was before, and where it is now. Thank you! |
Understand every side of stories before making your contributions, it's not healthy to make comments based hearsay and one sided story. NLC and other union bodies should be headed by people with no political affiliations, and even if they belong to one, it should be made silent, and let's not forget that every political opposition will want to make something out of everything. Am not saying Amosun is a saint, am saying if he made a reaction based on actions taken by some people that are meant to be in-charge of affairs, then he's done the right thing. He's the head of the state and the decision on its affairs should be made by him, either good or bad is based on the angle you are looking at it from. Make ur contributions with relatable points void of unfounded sentiments. To me, Amosun is a good leader with his own flaws compared to his peers. Thank you! |
Some people that just want to talk for relevancy purpose will just open their mouth and spit out trash. Am so sure the op does not reside in Ogun State, talkless of Abeokuta, cos if he is, he'll know that the building is not personal but state owned. That's one, and I keep asking this important question that in what context did the governor describe workers 'senseless and brainless', cos I believe a government that enjoys the support of his people will not just say such. Governor Amosun have not been in the news for scandals in the past, if he has go and check, it's just people that seek attention that put it up. I'm not saying he's a saint, all am saying is that the Ogun State we have now is far more distant from the one we had half a decade back. So wailers, before you quote, comment, make sure you know the past of Ogun State, before you judge the present. Thank you! |
Some people will just open their mouth and spit trash, Why is it that that's the only portion removed from the speech he delivered? In what context did he make those statements? And to the mod, why did you choose to shy away from other reasons he stated for not been able to comply with their demands. When was the last time Ogun workers complained of payment of salaries, @least compared to other states? And lastly in your own church mind @mod, what exactly do you know about Ogun State. Please people, the only thing we need in Nigeria is how to encourage our leaders to be the best they can be and stop saying derogatory things because of cheap publicity. Thank you! |
Since all these itch started, i've not for a moment thought or have mixed feelings that the President made a mistake with his statement. Mrs. Aisha is his wife and her sole responsibility is to take care of his home, and doing that does not and has not in any way stopped her from performing her other duties as a woman. I'm sure a lot of us believe because our mums are performing mothers and with that has not stopped them from taking care of our father's and us, so let's stop this talks of feminism or whatever. |
