Politics / Senator Folarin On A Restoration Mission In Oyo State by jkcarz: 3:00pm On May 30, 2022
As preparation for 2023 general elections takes shape across Nigeria, expectations are high in Oyo State, following the remarkable victory of Senator Teslim Folarin at the All Progressive Congress (APC) gubernatorial primaries. His success is a new dawn in Oyo APC, poised to unify contenders and stakeholders towards getting the number one seat in Agodi.

Observers are saying that Senator Folarin's success will bring about the realization of the Oyo Dream. The people of Oyo State have longed for an economically viable state that is culturally relevant, at the same time future-proof with digital development and modern infrastructure. These are the yearnings of Oyo electorates with confidence in "Tessy", as having what it takes to restore the State's lost glory as a pacesetter State.

Senator Teslims's candidacy is predicated on the belief that his personality as a grassroots politician with wider networks of influence outside Oyo State means a lot. This validates his Restoration Mission in Oyo State, given his passion for the masses and the large follwership he commands across the length and breadth of Oyo.
He is seen as an Ibadan land titled Chief with an aura of royalty. He also exudes the charisma of an Oyo Leader; a unifier, outspoken, cerebral, reliable and sociable. These personality traits make people gravitate towards him. In his victory message after the governorship primary election, he stated "My nomination by a majority of our party delegates has further reinforced my conviction that God and the good people of Oyo State are indeed behind my 2023 Rescue Mission".

Now that the political turf is all geared towards 2023 elections, the growing conversation is about the emergence of an Iconic Oyo Man, whose personality connects the ancestral qualities of old and the progressive, modern trajectory. Senator Teslim Folarin is all set to be the man that Champions the realization of the Oyo Dream. Like the Oyo people would say, "a ji se bi Oyo laari, Oyo o se bi baba enikan" (Oyo is a pacesetter)!

I think I can start thinking of my retirement plan. Nothing like seating at the water front with your Macbook, Palmwine and bush meat analysing stock technicals and fundamental.

Stock Trading is a serious business as I have seen the potentials in just a year of active trading. Better than Forex that I traded for 13 years and never withdrew once!

Work smart not hard!

Good luck to us all.

You so on point. Imagine buying at 6 and selling at 40 by holding for 6 months.

I go dey sing and drum same time

Willmichael:

The only best advice I can give you is to think like Buffet

Hold your stocks for long. Think long term investing, rather than short term trading. Imagine you bought more shares @ $6 monthly.

You for de sing now bá.

Next time, if you had a good reason for buying a company, believe in the company and never sell except those beliefs about the company never hold true again.

I don't know anything grin

Soul well lifted sir. Really appreciated.

OakPearl:

This happens to every one in the market at some point or the other in our trading history.

Snap out from feeling bad, and be proud of yourself that you did a good job identifying the value in this stock ahead of time. That means you can repeat this skill in another stock if you settle down and follow the same process you employed.

You could have also sold at a loss. Therefore, be comforted with the fact that this cannot be more painful than the pain of a loss.

Receive it as a lesson, dust yourself, and move on with the wisdom from this trade that in the end, we are all trading patience, not stocks.

I hope this lifts the spirit.

Thanks boss!

Lol @ Lots wife

InaNla:

My small understanding of the market so far...

1. Be sure of your fundamentals and what stock you have purchased. If DD was duly done. HANG-ON.
2. PATIENCE is NEDED. I have made a vow never to sell for a loss unless where there are other QUICK win and no cash.
3. Considering penny stock, honestly it's better to take your small profits and never look back, not minding whatever becomes what you left behind. Remember Lot's wife. tongue

Happy investing...

Hello guys?

Been feeling bad since yesterday. Held unto Gamestop for 6 months awaiting a short squeeze. Entered at $6, sold at $10, re-entered at $13 two months ago, sold three days ago at $18.11 and boom the squeeze started after selling. Currently at $40 in just 2 days and it has been hell for me because I missed out!

Any advice?

Health / NCDC And NNPC-IPPG Reinforce #takeresponsibility Theme by jkcarz: 8:37am On May 11, 2020

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ST4nRd0GCyA

The National Centre for Disease Control is pulling out all the stops and leaving no
stones unturned in her campaign to galvanize Nigerians in the battle to stop the
spread, and ultimately win the war against the Covid-19 pandemic.
The coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) outbreak, which was first identified in
Wuhan, China, in December 2019, has since become a global pandemic, spreading to
almost every country in the world, including Nigeria.

With the campaign funded by the NNPC-IPPG team, an association of Indigenous Oil
and Gas Producing Companies, and buoyed by its mandate to tackle the challenge of
public health epidemics through prevention, detection and control, NCDC has taken
the #TakeResponsibility awareness campaign against the Covid-19 virus a notch
higher with the newly launched multi-language mass media campaign.

The new #TakeResponsibility campaign, disseminated pan-Nigeria in Hausa, Igbo,
Yoruba, Pidgin and English languages across Print, Radio and Social Media
platforms, is premised on the key NCDC guidelines and safety precautions to stop the
spread of the novel coronavirus.

The safety precautions include washing of hands frequently with soap under running
water for 20 seconds; or using alcohol-based sanitizer where water is not readily
available; coughing or sneezing into tissue and disposing same into a dustbin
immediately or coughing or sneezing into the elbow.

Other guidelines involve the practice of social distancing, such as
avoiding large crowds; keeping physical contact to no less than 2 meters
and wearing a face mask whenever one is in a public space; cleaning all
surfaces frequently with disinfectants and avoiding fake news about the
virus by getting information only from official sources (like the NCDC
and WHO).

Also critical is the advice for people to stay in their states and if a traveler
returns from a trip abroad, such an individual should self-isolate for 14
days and if he/she develops symptoms like frequent cough, sneezing,
fever or shortage of breath, the individual should call his or her State
Emergency Number or NCDC’s toll free number: 080097000010, for
immediate assistance.

Coronavirus, which affects all age groups, but mostly the elderly and those with
underlying medical conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, etc., is
primarily spread between and among people during close contact, often via small
droplets produced by coughing, sneezing or talking.

According to NCDC-NNPC-IPPG partnership, the summary of all the Covid-19
guidelines and safety precautions is for Nigerians of every tribe and tongue, and non-
Nigerians in the country to #TakeResponsibility by playing their part in the all-
important race to halt and end the pandemic for the good of all.
