So because of what he is saying is no longer palatable to you guys he is no longer your man.ibos name was for una.this was the same guys you all saw as your role model.now he his against your expansionist agenda,he has now become your enemy.one thing I will give to barcanista his he his a real Nigerian just like the rest of us.
we are not talking about palatability here, we are only advising him not to deny facts by suppressing facts. Nobody will quarell if he is against d Igbos on ideology based on truth. We are in a country wia d Bight of Biafra (which long existed before 1849) and was suddenly changed to Bight of Bonny (in 1972) to exterminate d Biafra from history books and kill d project. We only advise him not to distort verifiable facts.

I warned him in one of his other posts never knew some one else share my sentiment. Barcanista, Barcanista, Barcanista (how many times did I call you). U are intelligent, articulate, vocal, analytical, didactic, erudite scholar, logical etc but all these positive adjectives will come to zero if u loose your factual and forthrightness. While Igbos respect ur Ijawness and have never said Ijaws are Igbos; we dont expect u to keep denying Ijaws were not part of Biafra thereby trivializing d agitation. The Biafra agitation is a mass movement and as u can see is not driven by egoistic politicians but by conviction by a people who are convinced dat d Nigerian state as presently constituted is suppressive. Dont wedge war against d Igbos who at best are being persecuted for their greatest sin now which is supporting GEJ an Ijaw man. We still respect u but this will serve as my final salvo. D ofe mmanu ppl will be very happy once u loose ur Igbo fan base, pls learn from GEJ mistakes. Ukpala okpoko buuru nti chiri ya.

Politics › Re: Buhari Gives Ultimatum To South-east Governors On Biafra by jlinkd78(m): 9:30pm On Oct 26, 2015
McKren:
Nigeria is such an archaic country I tell u

Imagine Tony Blair or David Cameron giving ultimatums to Scottish leaders on Scottish independence?

Buhari is so backward he needs to come off his civil war mentality and start thinking like a modern Nigerian democratic President.

I as an Igbo man do not believe the proponents of cessation will win a referendum in the East on the subject if genuine devolution and implementation of the last confab report is put on the table as an alternative.

Rather than the silly tough talk which adds no value to Nation building let the Presidency and APC think outside the box and work towards a more perfect union!

Fashola is an APC man, he is an advocate of devolution or true federalism. Let APC channel the debate in that direction.

Igbos are known to own businesses and landed properties in other regions outside their own than any other tribe. Perhaps Igbos have more vested interest in the unity of Nigeria than any other tribe! Let's have a referendum and a vote and people will realise that majority of Igbos will stay in Nigeria with a promise for devolution.

If I own a business in Lagos or Kano, I doubt I will like to wake up one morning to be designated an immigrant and require a visa to continue my business just because of Biafra. But like I say more hearts and mind will be won if devolution or true federalism is on offer!

Think, honestly think. Asked to name Igbo leaders, does Nnamdi Kanu or Uwazurike come to mind? Has anybody heard or seen a true Igbo leader of thought at the vanguard of the current quest for Biafra?

Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB are free to pursue any aspirations in a free society so long as they do so peacefully, it is up to Nigeria to silence this group through providing superior ideas and alternatives rather than alienating the rest of the majority of silent Igbos!
Honestly for most of us ur line of argument is perfect but Buhari archaic and military mindset is really winning a lot of fans for Nnamdi Kalu and d Biafra dream. I never cared so much about Radio Biafra until d FG purported jamming of its frequency which turned out to be a hoax. U need to watch d peaceful demonstration in front Nig High Commission in UK today to know the Biafra agitation has become a mass movement.

TonyeBarcanista:
I hope nobody is trying to encroach into Bonny? We must learn to respect our boundaries if we must build relationship and sustain unity. For the record, the bight of Bonny is 100% Ijaw since time immemorial. Whether Bight of Biafra, bight or Bonny or Bite of Akure, the Ijaws are not complaining. This should be our(Ijaws) own issue but we are very very comfortable with the Bight of Bonny nomenclature.

Thanks OP and God Bless
Barca pls some of us respect and adore ur person for ur forthrightness and honest analysis of issues especially on natnl issues but with this ur seemingly Igbophobic cum Biafraphobic display of late; ur sincere fan base might deplete. Someone asked a question about d change of Bight of Biafra (its original name even before year 1849) to Bight of Bonny in 1972 after d civil war and referred u to Wikipedia and d best response u gave is this defence of Ijaw this Ijaw that. One wud v expected d normal Barca to v researched more and eruditely update most masturbators dat Biafra was long in existence before d birth of Nigeria by Flora Shaw but u chose to play local champion. To succeed as a respectable critic, u must not play to d gallery on facts even when it affects ur family. As an advice, refrain from being seen as anti- Biafra as ur argument at best has shown dat Bonny cum ur Ijaw are actually Biafrans and this truth d Hausa/Fulani plus dia SW accomplices will never want u to know by always throwing up their divide and rule mentality against us.

Another pattern to export Boko Haram to Phc, quote me. Someone shd tell d govt that this exportation of Islam across d Niger to a cosmopolitan city can not make it become a religion of love. U siphon d oil revenue to d north and in exchange export Islam to d south; what an unfair trade by batter.

Am impressed with d expected impact this TheAuthority tabloid will be making in d coming days and years in balancing and checkmating d imbalance, lies and propaganda of d SW dominated Nigerian media space. Am also impressed dat d consciousness of d 5% mindset of d north against d east was reechoed by d president himself. Truth is d Nigerian state as presently constituted is dead on arrival an matters like secession, resource control, regional govt, confederation with a central govt etc can no longer be pushed to d back stage. Even d honest SW indigenes know right now dat this contraption called Nigeria has expired. What is needed now is for all these pro-Biafran groups to articulate ideas, shun working at cross purposes, be resolute and sustain d push for self actualisation based on internationally recognised guideline and UN charter on self determination. Thank u Mr Ifeanyi Ubah for using ur resources to tell our story.

Claims and counter claims like this makes one believe d APC were only united in one thing (driving away GEJ) with lies and propaganda and now dat d 'constant' has been sent packing they find it to sustain d 'variables' which is their empty promises/ clandestine interests. In saner climes, this particular statemnt by d Army chief ought to be investigated in national interest and its veracity or otherwise established and if found to be true dat he was actually playing to d gallery in order to translate their often 'selfies' into work progress should be penalised. One might wonder what cud be d motive of d military in this case if not to create d impression dat they v decimated d BH further than they met it after Gej hand over yet there is suicide bombing in Nig now on daily bases and innocent people are dying. Thank God d state gov is also APC hence conflict of interest might not have arisen. Two and half LGAs are under full control of BH and d Army chief (not even dia spokesperson) are feignig ignorance. I might be forced to believe dat this govt is running on an auto- deceit button. Someone shd remind this govt u dont give ultimatum to terrorists, US never gave Bin Laden capture a deadline but still went ahead to eliminate him. My prob is dat most of d democratic credentials achieved by Yar Adua n GEJ are gradually being eroded under d bigotry and fundamentalist mindset of PMB, imagine d natnl Inec Chairman a Hausa/Fulani and d SS Inec natnl comissioner a hard core Muslim. One Nigeria my foot. Until I see a selfie of Buratai doing his normal press ups in those affected LGAs, I will stick with d Governor on this.

Politics › Re: Apc, Pmb: Not Yet The Change We Voted For - The Nation by jlinkd78(m):
Waoh really been a while I read such an erudite write up from a Nigerian tabloid not to talk of The Nation which is widely regarded as pro-APC. The argument of this writer was so on point I had to book space first in order not to miss FP. Let us all as Nigerians take a deep breath with our eyes closed, enter into our consciences and see why it is an open wound of which only d truth can heal. If truly this is d change we were promised; where constructive criticism makes u Buhariphobic, where verifiable campaign promises are suddenly denied and clear ethno-religious inclination is seen all PMB appointmnt to d extent dat d Inec Natnl Chair is a Hausa/Fulani and even d SS rep of Inec Natnl Commissioner is a staunch Muslim. Apc shd remember Nigerians are yearning for change from daily bomb blasts to peace, change from prebendalism (just google d meaning) to egalitarian democracy, from darkness to an improve power supply at our homes, job creation not daily job retrenchments, corrupt persons being jailed and not media war and these political shenanigans which at best serve d elitist interest. A friend once asked me why we didnt ask d Apc d 'change' they meant as change cud be positive or negative. Mr Buhari what happend to Gej will be a child's play if these recycled and expired politicians you just assembled as minister designates gang up soon and 'cabalise' ur govt. For now lets watch and pray d govt succeeds while hoping d 'body language' doesnt turn to 'body odour' someday. The Nation, u v given me anoda reason to consider reading u again one day. If PMB dare makes d mistake of losing d SW media mafia with their obvious lies n propaganda then d autopsy of his failed govt will bring to d fore d meaning of d pen is mightier than d sword. For me ,a proudly 5% Nigerian, the South West deserve one of their sons to be d Natnl Inec Chairman but u will be surprised a lot of dia e- warriors here will prefer d south 'waste' identity which d oligarchic/feudal north is gradually turning them into.
Investment › Re: Guinness Nigeria Suffers 76% Profit Decline by jlinkd78(m): 10:30pm On Oct 23, 2015
Naturallyme:
My candid advice to Guinness. I was once their employee (Full Staff). they can not be doing the same thing the same way and expect different results. Even their staff are not motivated. Any one in their production floor can testify to this. Guinness has leadership problem right from the time of the White guy before Seun Adeti. Until they have motivated staff, and stringent policies reform, things will continue to be this way. Nigerian Breweries has taken over the market right under the full glare of guinness management. No Training scol no staff development plans. P4G crummbled. Nothing. 12hr shift at shop floor ( 7am to 7 pm, 7pm to 7 am everyday) majority of their operators are BSc and MSc holders. only to grab already experienced guys from other companies who are only interested in making money out of them. Too much politics. Honestly speaking, alot actually culminated to this and i will advice them that the problem is more internal than external. Those good for nothing skinny uk-schooled girls in their HQ are only there making fucking policies without proper understanding of the underlying problems.

Their so called Engineers are nothing but Push-botton Engineers. causing unnecessary overheads. Ordinary machine breakdown they cannot fix. just pocketing and be directing at the shop floor. i dont blame them, they were recruited using GMAT and GSE questions. I wonder the number of machine design and machines repairs GMAT has been able to solve for them. mtshewwwwwwwwwwwwww.

the few months i spent there i was just watching and felt so sorry for them. i solved a huge problem at he shop floor. my shitf manager took the glory. i laughed. i never contended it with him.

i told them when i was granted exit interview , that things are not going well on the shop floor.the competency level of their engineer was very very low. the woman was like..* are you serious*.. i was amazed the volume of resignation letter i saw at the HQ the day i resigned. They are very insensitive and its quite unfortunate.

Whats is still sustaining them is the brand " Guinness" and some few intelligent guys among them.
u really talked like an insider. Pls do they grant u interview too while trying to leave d co; got attracted to 'exit interview'
