Ever since Pmb 'demoted' Kachikwu from Nnpc GMD to Minister of State Petroleum, I v always had this conspiracy theory in my mind dat he will make a Northerner to head d nnpc and now relate with such person since he is d senior minister. With this new twist, all Buhari needs to do is to elevate Kachikwu to Senior Minister of Petroleum (cos d guy has proven he knows his onions and d 36 states already represented), appoint a Northerner Minister of State and still appoint someone from Niger Delta to be Gmd Nnpc. It is clear dat d intn'l community has made it clear to him dat he cant head d Ministry.

Whoever advised the rec for Bayelsa to postpone the announcement of results is too naive because it wud open the door for tension and conspiracy theories.
If per chance the results in other lgas go in Sylva's favor or he is able to upturn d gap using just a single lga,even doubts wud start creeping into people's mind,including some of us as to the authencity of the results.
What they shud have done is stay put in that hall, maybe take an hour or two break by say 1 or 2am and come back by 6am while staying in the vicinity of the collation centre.

This is d best news since handover and this is what we v been preaching; take suspects to court n have them tried and if found guilty sentence and jail them. Let it not only be opposition members. If 51million naira attract 10yrs in prison and return of d looted 51 million naira to d govt coffers then a very good precedence has been set. Mathematically, each five millon naira u steal is at least a year in jail. Am particularly happy no option of fine equivalent but d guilt MUST serve out d prison term while still having d stolen money returned. If other judges b this courageous then corruption has come to an end. Even d forfeiture of asset of d indicted company. This judge deserves an award cos with this pattern life imprisonment is finally possible for corruption or if u r old ur family mbrs can serve out ur term if u die earlier

waoh, I had to first search Newspaper online to read from d original source and waoh its true. Am beginning to like this change; each 5million naira attracts at least a year in jail/ with return of d loot and asset forfeiture of d regd company.
