Pls stop misleading people here as APC never zoned but only chose some members irrespective of their zones. Gbaja was chosen cos he was former minority leader n Tinubu man Friday not cos he is SW otherwise his master Tinubu wud v bin OK with d SW guy DAT got d deputy speaker. In fact it was APC insistence on no-zoning that caused all these wahala cos Tinubu knew that zoning will accommodate d SE n SS and this he never wished. God had a different plan. My only prob is that Gbaja is a nice guy who had paid his dues n wud v naturally become d speaker if not for d way Tinubu wanted to v every natn'l assembly position to himself n himself alone. Going forward, if d Dogara group has conceded d 4 principal positions to d Gbaja group on d condition it goes round d remaining 4 zones of NC, SE, SS n NW; sure that is d only solution as dia insistence on Gbaja himself being d majority leader himself can never fly. Let's give peace a chance before Dogara camp even rescind on dia compromise cos boys are not smiling.

I understand Ur pains but how will they be booted out. Even if d court sacks Wike today in an unlikely scenario cos d judiciary will never forgive Amaechi for its closure for a year, there will be fresh elections and Wike will win APC hands down. Wike now controls d l.g.a with his caretaker chairmen, d entire house of assembly are PDP (except 1 out of 23) and Wike just like Fayose is a grass root politician. I never liked Wike n still don't really like him but Amaechi gifted him his sudden popularity by his insistence on destroying Gej. Another reason Wike will win a fresh election in Rivers is DAT he is one of d few govs DAT will have projects to commission within first 100 days in office. Once politicians learn to be pro-people, then dia seats are secured.

The presiding judge is so funny. The case was a common sense judgement. The pdp went to court to stop inec from releasing the inec register to the apc, and the judge said 'maintain status quo'. Clearly it means 'inec, don't release the inec register'. How in the hell does that translate to 'don't conduct elections?' the issue of whether risec were right to conduct the election without the released inec register is a different case entirely. Is that justice akanbi a judge at all? And this judgement is supposed to be enforced? By the police? Buhari has clearly sold out the southern arm of his party. That was how he watched on while ayo fayose used 5 lawmakers to chase out 17 lawmakers and impeached the speaker with 5 out of 22 members and slapped a judge. APC was persecuted during patience Jonathan 's regime and still being persecuted today. Na wonder tanoids call him baba go slow.

Only Inec has d power to keep n update voters register for d conduct of elections in Nigeria both Federal n state. If Inec was barred from releasing voters list to Rivsiec it simply meant d court knew DAT without d voters list no election but Amaechi believing APC will be d govt at d centre went ahead to conduct d election 5days to May 29th handover when he cud v done it within his 4yrs tenure. Everybody including d chairmen themselves knew they all not last but Amaechi on his own can boast he has settled them.

Pls don't defend d indefendable as a lot of such sculptor work abound in Imo State esp at junctions and roundabouts separating different communities or l.g.a being paraded by Rochas as people oriented projects. The painful thing most times is DAT d govt will not even fix d road just for you to see d dirty sculptor work at those junctions. Along Orlu- Owerri rd from Mbailtolu to Umuaka to Umuowa Jxn to Banana Jxn Amaifeke a lot cud be seen. Rocha's is very wasteful.

Just that the truth is favouring his Ambition (selfish or not is subjective).

The only people that feel pained about this truth are bigots, biased and sentimental people that's even the more reason Mr. Dogara will go ahead as the speaker.

Once you keep an open mind putting in consideration the Nigerian people as whole then you'd support the speaker. I will like to believe we still have smart people who will see the right thing and stand by it.

Dogara got his opportunity, he took it now he has to be bold to keep it... To keep it he has to show his detractors that he is not a push over. I expect him to be bold and meaner and smarter this Coming days and I think hiding behind " the people's wish/constitution is supreme rant" is a good start.
