Wike has lost great goodwill and his soaring mass appeal from d mismanagement of d Obigbo debacle. It was a trap set for him from d Fulani gladiators and he fell for it. I saw it coming but kept hoping Wike will auto-reboot and come back to his senses. For d record go through my previous post and comments to appreciate I v been a humble admirer of Wike especially for his developmental strides in terms of bringing Julius Berger back to Port Harcourt after Amaechi drove them away. First it was Wike demolishing a hotel during the lockdown but somehow miraculously he regained political uppercut with d Edo reelection of Obaseki. The victory entered into his brain and he saw himself as d de facto opposition Leader. He never really knew his main foot soldiers were d Igbos and IPOB Radio Biafra as Nnamdi Kanu has always portrayed him as a courageous gov who is bold to tell truth to d Fulani power unlike the SE govs. However Wike needed 2023 relevance and he had to crush IPOB to remedy his demolition of Mosque allegation and his stand that Rivers State is a Christian State and a lot of anti-Buhari position. He forgot that Biafra/ IPOB as a mass movement is driven by ideology and not by cash handouts from Nnamdi Kanu. Till today dia is video evidence d Fulani killed innocent Obigbo indigenes and any perceived killing of d security agencies is a retaliatory action.
