See brother the devil knows more than half of our predestined purpose,not all but the devil won't just sit down, fold his arms and let you fulfill your destiny especially those who are called by God. The reason why you can't call the name of Jesus is because God wants you to move closer to Him, whatever God wants to use you for, you need to be spiritually built up and ready for it for you to fully fulfill your God given destiny. I advice you to keep seeking God, obey His Word and do not turn it to the right or to the left, do what the Word says. Happy sunday and a new week to us and I greet you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I have a message for us all here and beyond, i didn't think I will have the reason to bring the message on here because even i don't fully understand at first the context neither did I know the purpose untill now that the Lord reminded me of it. The message goes like this: It was actually in a dream and the Lord showed me in a dream that I and some people who I don't know nor recognised were somewhere together and immediately someone came to me and said (Please pardon me coz i cant remember how the person put it but I will summarise the message to us)but the summary of the message is that rapture is about to take place, that the Lord is ready to show up to finally separate the children of light from the children of darkness. I was happy when I was told because i know am going with the Lord but I was also sad because we the children of light didn't do well the work God has given to us knowing well that a whole lot will end up in hell. The message is that the coming of our Lord is at hand to encourage us to stay in the light and stand with Jesus, let us all desire and take steps to grow in the spirit and moreso also preach the gospel to the unsaved for it is the work Jesus has.given to us all. Mark: 16. 15. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Jesus just wasn't talking to the disciples but to us all. We also need to know that tho Jesus said no man knows the hour He will show up but I tell you as I was told in the dream and also confirming with the word of God that we will have an idea, when He is about to show up 1 Thessalonians: 5. 2. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 6. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. Verse 4 says it will not overtake us like a thief only( IF ) we stay in the light and for those who refuse to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior, they won't have a single idea of the Lords coming and even if when we the children of light are so sure the Lord is about to come and tell them,non of them will believe. Brethren God so loved us that He wants us to remain in the light till He comes and because of this, He has also told us in His Word how to remain in the light which is in verse 6. He said we shouldn't fall asleep while waiting for His coming. Don't move along or act like people in the world and still call yourself His child just because you have given your life to Christ, dont be among those who claimed to have received the joy of salvation and yet living a worldly life. DON'T!!!!!! But the bible says watch and be sober, the bible asked us to see everyday as the day of Lord, have a humble heart and be sober in your doings and also let the consciousness be in you that the Lord can come at anytime, this will help you to keep living a victorious, glorious, righteous and blameless life to the glory of God. The only way the coming of the Lord will not be as a thief in the night for you and I is if we remain the children of light. So please brethren for those of us who wants to make heaven, let's adhere to the voice of Lord by living a life that will glorify Jesus Christ. And let's obey the second commandment that says we should love our neighbour as ourselves and also obey Jesus instruction, if we desire to make heaven then we also need to desire it for our neighbour. Mercie97:Saying and knowing fully well that the devil has failed already gives you the victory now and forevermore. On stirring up the gifts you have in you, all you need is to stay away as much as possible from sin, keep living a life of holiness and God handle the rest. Be rest assured that God is with you, He knows you, He sees you, He knows how best through you to use the gift He has given to you and His will for your life will be done either the devil likes it or not IF you continue staying in His will living a righteous life.Philippians: 1. 6. Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Another thing is that we all have purpose to fulfill in the body of Christ, you need to know what God has called you to do, we have been predestined for a purpose and the way to stir up the gifts of the Spirit is to know your calling so you can channel the gift in that line. The moment you channel your gifts to your calling, you will see your self growing spiritually with the anointing of the gift increasing as you use it to the glory of God. Psalm: 37. 4. Delight thyself also in the LORD; and HE shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and HE shall bring it to pass. Not that in verse 4,the bible says He (God Himself) will be the one to give you the desire of your heart and verse 5says He still will be the one to bring it to pass. You remember "thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven "? Yes that includes God's purpose for our life instead of our purpose. All you have to do is go to be in prayer, ask God to show you His will, tell God you want to know what your purpose is because until you realise your main purpose, you will only be serving God without a fulfilled desire. As you pray concerning this,don't be anxious or worry yourself, just keep serving God with a pure mind and He will perfect all that concerns you. Be at peace sister 5 Likes |

I need to first make it clear to you that been born again, filled with the Holy Spirit and He's gift does exempt us from the feiry darts of the devil. No matter how spiritual one is, the devil is always out looking for our destruction. Sister I need you to understand that we the children of God are devils enemy and he does all he can not to allow us reach our full potential in Christ Jesus and one of the major way he does that is to attack us with our most favourite sinful act. The devil wanting to bring down someone will not use alcohol to tempt someone who doesn't drink alcohol, cigarette to some who neither like to smoke nor like the smell or use women to tempt someone who doesn't flirt. The devil uses the sinful act we enjoy most when we were still sinners and haven't received Christ because we are bound to fall. The only reason why the devil usually bring pornographic pictures to your mind is to tempt you,the devil sole purpose is get you thinking about it and the moment you let the pictures settle in your mind and fantasize about it,then you are most likely to fall back fully into your sinful act which will draw you back into his (devil's) cage and away from the God. The devil knows the bible More than we do and he knows this scripture when God says Hebrews: 10. 38. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. Now to the solution you first of all need to draw close to God because the bible says inJames: 4. 7. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. The way to draw near to God is to first desire it,desire more of Jesus and move away from all that might trigger your old sins including friends that might bring to your remembrance your sinful life and every other things that might draw you back. Secondly,Romans: 12. 2. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Sister you need to renew your mind and the way you can do that is to have the Word of God in you. You need to read and study daily the Word of God because the Word of God will shine the light of God in your heart and mind thereby helping to eliminate evil and sinful thought replacing it with the things of God. Hebrews: 4. 12. All of what the bible ask to think on will be derived from the Word of God which is why it has to come before this. This is a deliberate act,whenever the devil tries to bring an evil picture, fight and resisting it by deliberately thinking of the pure things of God and then you see the devil fleeing from you with he's evil thought. Hello everyone, first of all i will apologies for posting this late. Its been on my mind to post this for a while now but i have been so lazy to type but had to because i know we all need to be edified with this. POWER IN THE TONGUE Alot of times we utter words out of mouth without knowing that for every words that comes out of our mouth comes with power. It does not matter either you are having conversation or praying or speaking to yourself, every words that comes out of our mouth carries power. Now i want us to go into the beginning of the bible which is genesis. To avoid posting all of it, i will like us to take a look at Gen1:1-26... You will notice that when God created all things up till when He created man, all was said was Genesis: 1. 3. And God SAID, Let there be light: and there was light. Genesis: 1. 6. And God SAID, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. Genesis: 1. 9. And God SAID, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. Genesis: 1. 11. And God SAID, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. Genesis: 1. 26. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. If you read the whole verses from 1-26, you will notice that all what God did was to SAY and it was SO and that was how God created all things including human beings. We need to realise that the same power has been given to mankind either a believer or a non believer. Proverbs: 18. 21. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. The bible says death and life lies in our tongue so what ever we speak forth will either bring life or death. That's why prayer is powerful, its not just about speaking but God knows and understand that by opening our mouth to ask, through that we receive that which we long for. As little as the tongue is, it can bring life or death into something or someone, with our tongue we can raise up someone or bring someone down, we can speak life to a business or kill a business etc. James: 3. 5. Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! 6. And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. 7. For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: 8. But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. I remember when i was still an unbeliever, there was an hotel with a bar where i and my friends back in school usually drinks and we were well known as customers. The manager did something i cant remember and it pisses us off and we vow to destroy the business. We didnt fight neither did we break anything there. The only thing we did was to spread false news that the manager was working with police to apprehend any yahoo boy that comes to drink at the bar and most of those who go there to drink are students involved in shady business and that was how the man business was ruined. Am born again now and forgiven because Jesus washed my sins away with His blood HALLELUJAH but what i was trying to pass was the fact that we brought death into his business with our words. We also need to understand that we react on the way our heart is,whatever we say must have first gone through our heart before it comes out of our mouth which makes us the product of our words or action. Meet a man today and watch what comes out of his mouth, then you can tell what kind of man he is. Matthew: 12. 33. Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. 34. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. 35. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But we must be careful and watch what we say out. Even when we are dealing with people, we should know how to keep good conversations and be careful not to allow any negative words proceed out of our mouth for whatever we say carries power and the result is either life or death . God eyes is everywhere and he sees everything and hears every words so we need to be very careful. Proverbs: 15. 1. A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. 2. The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness. 3. The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. 4. A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit. Sir/ma, do you know we shall be judged for every words that comes out of our mouth? The day i knew,i shivered and one of the reason is this : lets assume you are having a discussion with a friend and he/she gets you angry and you say IT SHALL NOT BE WELL WITH YOU OR YOU ARE STUPID OR YOU ARE MAD OR YOUR FATHER, brethren, either we are serious or joking,those words will follow whoever you say it to,spirituality does not know jokes. For some who you told his stupid will continue doing stupid things, for some who you say will not be well for,it will be so and it might not be financial, it could be in the area or health, marriage, having children etc. But the fact remains that you have said it. We have all destroyed someones life with our words unknowingly and even our own life with words like -I cant do it -i am sick -Or when playful and saying am not well oooo or u sick for head -It is impossible -I wont survive this etc We have all one way or the other said some negative words to either ourselves or someone else but know that we shall be judged for every words Matthew: 12. 36. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. So please brethren let us watch what we said, guide our mouth to preserve our life. Proverbs: 13. 3. He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction. Let us also stay away from corrupt words, negative words. If you are self employed and even if business is not doing fine,if someone ask you,say something positive like business is fine and will be better. Ephesians: 4. 29. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Since we now know that there is power in our tongue and that death and life lies in our words, let us refrain from vain words knowing fully well that God hears all we speak forth and will judge us for everyof our words. Words are like seeds when spoken and will bring forth fruits either good or bad bringing life or death to a situation,someone or ourself . Instead i want us to take advantage of this not just refraining from words that will condemn us on the judgement day but also for our good. Why not fill our mouth with words like -I will be great -I am blessed -I can do it -i am strong -I am a winner and will be great -It is possible, and nothing is impossible with God -My business shall bring forth good fruit and will blossom -I will get a good job with a good pay And every other postive words you can think of depending on the situation. analice107:Ok first of all, I agree with all you have put up here. Churches are full and Christians have gone weak and its alarming. Most times I wonder why Christians sin so comfortably without thinking, how Christians can sit and watch Bigbrothernigeria and don't see it as nothing, how Christians see going to church as a normal routine and don't have any relationship with the Father, how Christians and even leaders run after the wealth of the world trying to compete with the unbelievers and forgetting Mattew 6:33 etc. It's alarming and saddens me as well. 2. I am not good at dream interpretation but I know sometimes same dreams may mean differently to people depending on the stand they are with God. Maybe now that we now know what might have brought about the dream, I will allow oga charlyg1 to look into it and give the interpretation unless he wishes to stick to the formal. . And today, I’m glad to see why all these happened in the first place. I’m a living proof of God’s amazing grace and love in the life of His children. God loves us so much, He walks with us every day, telling us secrets and showing us mysteries and saving us from harm. If only we open our hearts a bit more to Him.
