This is so true...let us who are still alive always remember. Our lives have to impact our world for good (for our works shall speak for us when we are gone) And more importantly, we must continually strive for righteousness and purity with GOD to secure our eternity. Righteousness89: |
Clean ride but please check your description..it is completely different from the pics shown...it seems you copied it and pasted here. This can be misleading and could make potential buyers suspect a fraud. Just saying tho. Happy sales. |
*SIGH* I needed to read this...Thank You Jesus for leading me to this post and for using you @sixthsense as the pen to write this. God bless you. It is well. |

Welcome development. It is time for our state governors to look inward and start up initiatives like this in their respective states. In addition, they should come together per geographical region to develop their regions. That way, we can de-centralize power at the presidency and use whatever comes from the national cake as support-not the main source of salary payment and re-current expenditure. This will also lead to industrialization and wealth creation in every part of the country. Furthermore, the menace of mass migration from rural to urban centers will be curbed because there won't be a need to move to the city in order to earn a good living. |
Good morning. 2004 Benz ML 350. How much? |
1.5m? |
Morning, how much please? and location. thanks. |
Similar thing happened in 2004/2005 protest against increase in hall fees. The then ULSU speaker died in the process (probably due to exhaustion) and the protest went out of hands afterwards...students went on a burning spree..first the VC's lodge, then the DSA. Next thing we knew, students were forcibly sent out of campus. No academic activities for three months after that and finally, we were asked to pay a re-registration fee of N10,000 plus an undertaking similar to OP's post. Oh and by the way, students did not have access to live in halls for almost a year - which is why there are so many hostels around Akoka till date and rental costs for mini-flats in the area have gone up the roof as well. When they finally did, the very fees that they protested against was eventually increased and-yes-everyone that was fortunate to get a hall did pay for it. Finally, there was no student union govt for years, instead, a student union congress comprising of Class, Course and hall representatives was constituted...not sure when the school authorities decided to re-instate the SUG though. Same story line....Different scripts. My advice is that the SUG should learn from the experience of their predecessors; if a strategy has been tried before and was unsuccessful, then another should be used. Obviously, something similar happened over a decade ago and it didn't yield a positive result, therefore it is only wise that another strategy be employed. As much as I understand that the availability of amenities such as electricity and water is key to a suitable learning atmosphere, there are better ways to tender complaints asides protests (which may begin as peaceful but tends to get out of hands). To my dear Akokites, signing the undertaking may be the only option you have right now to get your academic journey back on track. Remember that you are the main victims of any disruption to the academic calendar as you are the one who is pursuing a degree. Please, in the interest of your precious years of study, don't try to add unnecessary extra months to your course duration by another round of protests. Just sign the undertaking, be of good behavior and get your degrees done and over with so you can move on to other things in life. There is more to life that the four walls of a university and a degree abeg. It is well with you. |
Nice one. Thanks for the info. |
kingreign:Ok thank you. I appreciate you. |

Never went to driving school, always aimed for the front passenger seat of any vehicle i rode in (commercial vehicles inclusive) so i could watch and learn whatever the driver did. Add that to road confidence and the mindset that you CAN drive...and off I drove. Mum once tried to help me perfect my skill but i was too concerned about her car to listen and learn calmly. I went on to perfect my driving by myself using the car whenever it is available and parents are not at home. P.S: Driving - like swimming is a survival skill that one should learn because the thought of being in an emergency situation with a car available and being helpless due to inability to drive is haunting. |
mrking3:I can only imagine, it is well with you mrking3 and with the rest of the Ocholi's too....this hit me hard when i saw the pain in the eyes of the daughter and sons.... The journey ahead for these people wont be easy but all the least we can do for them right now is pray pray and pray ceaselessly. As the Yourbas will say: "Aa ni f'i iru e san fun ara wa o, AMIN" (may we who are condoling them not experience the same pain). |
OP i disagree with the 4th pic. That road is Apapa-Oshodi expressway outward the port axis and not okigwe-umuahia road. Please rectify. Thanks. |
Hi, How much? serious buyer. Do you do swaps too? |
Good day, I drive a 2001 RX 300 which i think drives pretty well (it is very reliable). I observed that after driving around for over 20 minutes, whenever put the gear in reverse/park/neutral and put it back in Drive, i hear and feel a jerk from the rear of the vehicle before it makes a forward movement. A mechanic (not a lexus mech though) mentioned that it isn't much of a problem as the car still drives well (although i'm not comfortable with driving a car that jerks when the D gear is engaged ). Could someone please help ascertain what the issue could be? Does any part of the rear axle need oiling or what?Thank you in advance. |
Anything to fix in this ride? I'm a serious buyer and i'm offering 950k. |
