what kind of database structure are you looking at? is it a situation where all information is pooled in a central server and there are varying levels of access or a situation where everyone gets to communicate with each other Cus when u say intranet, your talking about the school probably being networked. so its both setting up an intranet and their database network.
you really have to elaborate on what they really want or what you intend to provide for them

you can't get a new lappy for that amount except your buying a refurbished laptop. what do you need the laptop for? basic browsing, training?, entertainment> or professional work? you have to know all these before even saying you want a laptop. and rest assured, you can get a good USA used laptop for even less than that budget.

i've used there 200MB plan for 1 week straight doing browsing and small downloads. worked fine for me. still the fastest network out there.

i bought this pad to resell.... the config is excellent, but the only draw back is it does not use sim.... but as i heard, there are now wireless stand alone modems available... so wont this be a cheaper alternative? check this config out...
