Built2last:
*"The painful twist about life in Nigeria".*

*Two kids are born August 31st, 1980, one in Kano (Jubril) another in Enugu (Emeka).*

They go to primary school in those areas and get to Primary 6, now the twist begins.

*They both take Federal Common Entrance, Emeka scores 168/200 and Jubril 16/200. For some silly quota system, they both end up in the same class at Federal Government College, Enugu (FGCE).*

Emeka continues to come 1st-3rd in the class of 30 and Jubril 25-29th/30.

*6 years later, WASCE and JAMB are taken. Emeka had 6As and 2Cs (WASCE) and 286/400 (JAMB) while Jubril had 5Cs and 2Ps and 106/400 in JAMB.*

Again by a warped and weird stroke they end up in the same Law Faculty in University of Nigeria, Enugu campus.

*5 years later Emeka graduates with 2-1 and Jibril with a Pass!*

Emeka is done with Law school at Abuja - No Job after NYSC.

*Jubril as soon as he gets out of Abuja Law school then one year NYSC gets a job as a Magistrate at the Federal Magistrate Court Abuja, 2 years later he is promoted as a Judge.*

Emeka still struggling, decides to join some Trio Igbo Law outfit in Abuja as a junior lawyer.

*5 years later he is still carrying files and coming to defend low level cases at Jubril's court.*

Now, you are Emeka or Emeka's relative, kit and kin, will you want Nigeria to continue like this.

*No way! That's the problem with Nigeria as it is.*

It's strongly skewed to the advantage of a particular ethnic group in Nigeria.

*Must we allow this to continue?*

The truth be told in all sincerity, the Labour of our heroes past can never be in vain.

*As God would have it, one day, Emeka finds his way to England, he immediately thrills them with his brilliance and in less than 5 years he becomes a full Professor.*

He could achieve his dreams elsewhere but his Country.

*This really hurts.... SAY NO TO SILLY QUOTA

6. Processing of Banana
Nigeria produces 2.7 million metric tonnes of banana annually.
You can also look at this industry to start a business.
Why Banana Processing
There are many things you can do with a banana.
In fact, focusing on one will create new opportunities for you.
From drinks to jams, you can produce these and start a new line of business.
But you have to be calculative as bananas are plants that grow majorly in the southern part of the country. Make sure you put that into consideration as you start your banana processing.
You can get clients easily even immediately as you start. A wise method will be to do research first before commencing production.

5. Groundnut Processing
This business is a lucrative one if you know your way around.
Groundnut is planted nearly all over Nigeria and depending on where you go is cheap enough for production purposes. In fact, Nigeria groundnut production makes about 11% of the world's groundnut production.
You can start a business with this and smile to the bank at the end of every month.
Why Groundnut Processing
This industry is a large one that you can easily start without much competition.
However, the initial cost of purchasing machines might deter you but with proper planning, you can get that investment for the machine within three months time.
You might want to process groundnut oil with it due to its demand in Nigeria.
The leftover from the processing of oil can be used to create a new industry that will augment the one coming from the main business.
How to Start
The best way to start is to start.
Get the machine, draw up your plan and enter a massive market that needs to be filled.

4. Snail Farming
Snail farming is not just a lucrative business but also a risk-free business to run.
Unlike chicken or other animal farming that are stressful to manage, you can even run a snailery on a parttime basis. There is little to no odour. Why Snail Farming
Snailery is cheap to start.
Snails are animals that multiply rapidly that in a few years, a well-managed snailery will have hundreds or even thousands of snails that multiplied from the few you started with.
Snail meat has a nutritional advantage to other meat and is a valuable form of meat. You'll be surprised to get others that will overwhelm you.
How to Start
You can start a snailery by learning about the various species and the merits of them.
Choose the one you feel is great for you.
Then, create a snailery.
I even forgot to tell you that you can even feed snails with leftover food. Something that's not feasible with poultry.
You should follow proper snailery management to manage your snail.
Final Words
Work hard. That's all I can say.

3. Fish Feed Production
There has been a buzz about fish farming of late.
More people are getting involved in fish farming. You might want to benefit from fish farming but you don't need to start a fish farm.
Making fish feed is a way to also make money from it.
The most fish farmers in Nigeria get their fish feed from outside the country. If you own a fish feed company, it'll not only give you bragging rights but get customers as it will be cheaper compared to imported feeds. This is after your profit.
Why Fish Feed
Nigeria made an ambitious statement – they want to meet fish and meat sufficiency.
In my locality, we have trained many fish farmers but the problem we have is the feed. Some of the feeds we get are not suitable for our fish here. If you're able to create a fish feed, it'll solve most of these problems.
There's a huge market for you to exploit.
How to Start
As usual, look for fish farmers around you, ask them about their challenges with fish feed. I bet, you will understand what I'm saying. Producing fish feed is not hard. You can go check your secondary school agricultural textbook or a local university library close to you to see how it's
Final Words
This business is hard to get into.
Take your time and you'll be on the road to success.

2. Organic Manure Production
Agriculture is the biggest employer of labour in Nigeria, with over 70% of Nigeria's rural residents employed by it.
However, modernisation of farming techniques is catching up slowly. This is not bad news as many people are involved in the education process of educating farmers on the merits of Modernised farming.
With Farmcrowdy partnering with Oyo State government to help 50,000 farmers within the next three years, I kid you not, this is the best time to enter agriculture.
Why Organic Manure
There have been a campaign of the dangers of fertilisers and more people are favouring organic methods of growing crops. This is even heightened by the resistance of local farmers who don't favour fertilisers. I can tell you this with confidence because I've been involved with farmers. Last year, I was an Adhoc staff of an international agricultural tech company.
If you get serious about this, you can start making money within a month as organic manure creation is easy to learn and it takes little to no money to start. It even takes a short while to decompose.
How Do I Start?
Start talking to local farmers about the benefits of fertilisers. If you can see this, it means you have either a smartphone or a laptop. Show them videos of the benefits of manure. But don't be pushy, else they might feel you are shoving a product in their face.
You can decompose manure anywhere. But be careful as it releases pungent smells that might cause your neighbours to ask you to leave. LOL.
The materials for composting can come from your house or the house next to you. Offer to help them dispose their yam peels and their waste food products, you're good to go.
Final Words
This is one of the easiest and fastest ways to make money from agriculture in Nigeria.
The best part is you can do this on the side and make it fulltime once it starts getting profitable.

Nigeria as a country has a large population and this means an opportunity to make money from a business.
If you are confused about what business to start, this thread is for you as we will be looking into seven business ideas that can help you add value to people and make money from it.
Before we continue this thread, know this mindset about entrepreneurship that money follows value. The value is subjective as a sanctimonious person may consider gambling to be of no value but the person playing it will consider it as a value. Similarly, a strict parent might consider toys to be nonsense but not the child or its parent.

1. Eggs Distribution Business
The egg business is a big business globally. In 2017, China consumed $37 billion worth of eggs. That's more than Nigeria's budget for that particular year.
The egg business is so lucrative that you will find a market in every state and community in Nigeria. By my research, I didn't see any modern society in Nigeria that forbids eating eggs. We have to understand that when we meant egg, it's chicken eggs that we're referring to.

Why Nigeria?
You might wonder why this business will be lucrative in Nigeria. The reason is not far fetched. In 2018, Nigeria surpassed India as the country with the highest people living in extreme poverty. In fact, it's said that many children born in Nigeria today will grow up with cognitive disability due to lack of protein while growing. Now that's not to alarm you but for you to see the market in this place. This trend has made some people look into a form of protein that's suitable for a growing child.
An egg is not an expensive protein source. Besides, it has more receptivity than say maggots or insects.
There's massive education ongoing about the danger of not giving a child enough protein.

How Can you Start
There are lots of poultry in local communities close to you. Better still you can look for a farm close to you and start placing orders.
You can get clients from the noodles and egg makers to even public schools. Yes, you heard that right! Check if your state has joined the public school feeding initiative being sponsored by the federal government. If you attend a religious place of worship, you can get clients from them, tell them you distribute eggs or meet the religious leader and tell them about a kind of feeding project. Reference Christ Embassy Inner City Feeding programme if they are reluctant.

Final Words
This business is vast, the only way you can learn is when you start.

Religion / Wealth Transfer – The Mammonic Doctrine Gaining Foothold In Nigeria's Gospel by JobNowNowNg: 2:40pm On Sep 08, 2019
Some few years back, I was in a church when the pastor talked about the richest people in the United Kingdom not being religious. It caused a lot of argument in the church. Chief of the argument was whether being a Christian mean you will be wealthy.

Recently, there's a group of people who are moving about disparaging the very thing Jesus based his life on – Justice.

If you don't know what wealth transfer is, you should listen. It's a concept that says the wealth of the unbelievers will go to believers.

It's a troubling doctrine!

One would wonder where that concept came about. If you take a look at some verses the proponents of this doctrine cite, you will see that it's merely another scam meant to impoverish the poor further.

The only story that will come close was the story of the Israelites in Egypt when they got pieces of jewellery and other valuable items from the Egyptians. But that should be understandable. They were a people abused by the Egyptians without having anything of worth. You are certainly not an Israelite who slaved to build cities for the Egyptians.

When Abraham was offered gifts by the king of Sodom, he rejected it. That was after rescuing Sodomites alongside his nephew, Lot. That is to tell you a Christian should not covet his neighbour wealth in the name of Wealth Transfer. Remember we look up to Abraham as our father.

This mindset is one of the reasons Nigeria's reputation for money fraud is getting out of control. The other day, an internet fraudster told me with all conviction that he's repatriating what the colonialists stole from him. Then I asked him if Singaporeans and Swedes also stole from him. He has not answered to this day.

Wealth transfer goes against the principle of sowing and reaping. You don't plant maize and expect to reap mango. It's impossible!

Wealth transfer is another name for covetousness. You are coveting the riches of your neighbour and that is against God's command. I'm trying to imagine how you will pray the prayer. Like “Dear God, I want you to give me what my neighbour has worked hard for because I'm a Christian”. Bullocks!

The talk about being rich in Christ is of the goodness of Christ. The joy that comes from having the creator of the Universe as a father is enough. But that is not wealth.

To get wealth is to work hard. That's why Deut 8:18 talked about God giving you the power to make wealth. Power here means the will to work harder. It's when you continually show up and provide values to others.

So, instead of eyeing your neighbour's wealth, start a business. That's the shortest path to wealth.
God bless you.
