nairalanda1: Yo, I don't support corrupt politicans, but everytime EFCC tries to arrest politicans, you will see crowds of Nigerians surrounding their house and threatening violence against EFCC agents. So what do you want them to do?
Yahaya bello at least is on trial. Any attempt to investigate any of our past leaders, would be met with threats of violence.
Remember James Ibori.? EFCC tried to arrest him. The road to his house was blocked by protesting youth. Ibori managed to escape, and the UK eventually got him and tried him. Remember Alams,? EFCC got him, they say na because he opposed obasanjo.
EFCC has also successfully prosecuted and jailed... two former governors...who Buhari went on to pardon two years before he left office.
And you are here justifying Yahoo because ;they do not jail politicans? If you know how many people's lives both abroad, and in Nigeria have been damaged by Yahoo...you won't be here talking rubbish. And even if NIgeria was working...people go still do yahoo. They do scams like yahoo in developed countries self.
But now, let's say that EFCC should prosecute Buhari, GEJ, Obasanjo, etc etc....even tinubu. All of you will threaten fire and brimstone.
Yahoo is a crime, as is stealing by politicans. Stop justifying both.
All the mention ve veen getting shows that d educational system has failed us.. U started ur response well and ended up like the rest.
Yahoo boys yeap quick to arrest Politicians when steals billions "we are doing everything according to the book" we need to follow due protocol b4 arrest

Shocking Incident: Girls Released After Beating Up Peer Despite Video Evidence
Despite clear footage showing a group of girls physically assaulting a fellow student, authorities only held them for two hours before releasing them with just a warning. The disturbing video reveals a shocking lack of remorse or accountability.
One of the girls can be heard repeatedly taunting the victim, saying, “What do you say? What do you say? What do you say? What do you say?” as the helpless girl endured multiple slaps.
Even more disturbing, the victim’s friends were seen laughing and doing nothing to stop the attack. The defenseless girl was left humiliated while the others treated the assault like a joke.
This incident raises serious questions about justice and how such violent behavior can go virtually unpunished.

How Lagos School Teacher Sexually Assaulted Me Inside Lab — Victim Of Sex-For-Mark Scandal Says
In a disturbing video interview uploaded by Vanguard Newspaper, one of the molested students narrated how the further maths teacher attempted to rape her.
A fresh video evidence has surfaced detailing the harrowing accounts of students allegedly sexually assaulted by a male teacher at the Babs Fafunwa Millennium Senior Secondary School in Lagos State.
She said the teacher promised her that he would be compensating her with marks if she agreed to his sexual advances.
She said: “It was during the Assembly we were inside the ICT LAB, the place was very stuff and dark and we said sir, should I open the window? He said, Yes. I opened the first window, the second window. Suddenly somebody grabbed me from the back, he grabbed my waist. He turned me back with force and started kissing me. I said please stop, I have never done this. I said that continuously, he held my hands tightly and started removing his belt. He took off his belt, and backed me to the table. So he carried my skirt up, and started pushing me to the table. I started crying, shivering and left.
“Then I wanted to scream but he said I should not worry and asked me to sit down. I sat down, and he now asked me a question, that am I a virgin? I said yes, I am a virgin. And he said, I want to be the man to deflower me. He said that he wants me to be his girlfriend. That if I become his girlfriend, he will give me more marks in mathematics and even in other subjects. I was scared and was just saying ‘Okay sir, Okay sir’.
“He said, ‘Don't tell anybody because if I am embarrassed, you too will be embarrassed.”
Another victim said: “He told me to open the video and as I was about to open the window, he pushed me and tried to kiss me. And I was pushing him, until SS1 students entered. He left me and I ran outside.”
SaharaReporters in April reported how the school management actively attempted to cover up the abuse of at least 11 girls by a Further Mathematics teacher, Mr. Egberongbe Adegbenga Toheeb.
This was disclosed in audio recordings obtained by SaharaReporters, which showed the victims narrating their ordeal at the hands of the disgraced teacher.
The revelation eventually led to the state government's arrest and arraignment of school principal, Osunrinde Omotayo Abiodun.
SaharaReporters learnt further that the state government had redeployed a new principal, Mr Oluwatoto Oluwafemi, to take over the school's running.
SaharaReporters had also reported that some teachers at the school have been accused of extorting students taking the ongoing West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
Multiple students from the school told SaharaReporters that teachers are collecting N500 per subject from them under the guise of providing them with answers, commonly known as “expo.”
“They gave us ‘expo’ during the exam. After our exam one day, they called us outside and told us that we shouldn't tell people about them giving us ‘expo.’”
Another student narrated how the scheme is being run.
“We paid N500 each for ‘expo’ during the Civic exam. After the Civic exam, they expected us to pay again for Marketing,” the student said.
SaharaReporters gathered that students who cannot pay the N500 fee are coerced or threatened. Sometimes, the teachers allegedly disrupt the exams for students who refuse to pay.
According to one of the students, when they refused to pay, the teachers threatened to make life difficult for them in the days left to conclude their examinations.
“And it's not like the ‘expo’ (answers) that they're giving us are correct,” the student said.

His confession, captured on video, sparked widespread outrage as it circulated online, prompting many concerned individuals to flood the comment section with their reactions.
bosslady101: I only added the last part of our chat because our chat is very long. Nonetheless, I will still give a detailed summary of what happened here.
First note that I am someone who patronizes businesses regularly online. I will NEVER ask for a refund of a service I received and used. NEVER.
On the 6th of March 2024. I was scammed a certain amount of dollars. These scammers came to me, pretending to want to help me swap my dollars, but they swapped it with fake ones and took off, it's a long story short but that's not the main matter I am bringing here. I am here to report Mozino007 because it's from this same forum I met him, so I came to warn as many of you that may be doing business with him: DO AT YOUR OWN RISK.
In order to retrieve my stolen dollars, I tried to lure the scammer as many times possible. Nothing worked. I decided to follow up with the police who told me I needed to get a tracker to get the location of the person who stole my money.
I searched endlessly online to no avail until I came across Mozinos comment on someone's post. Someone who had been defrauded like me and needed a tracker. I reached out to him and he agreed to track the scammer for me, only if I paid 50k. I begged him and we later agreed for 40k.
25 mins later, he sent me the supposed address and working place of the scammer. He also sent me the scammers second phone number. Yes you would say I was desperate because I wanted to catch this person, so I didn't know I was falling into the hands of another scammer. And that's the wickedness of human beings for you: imagine seeing someone's problem and instead of bringing solutions, adding to it. That's what Mozino did to me, and when I complained and asked for a refund, he blocked me.
Back to the story, I spent 30k to mobilize police and extra 12k for fuel that day we went to the address that Mozino gave me. Apart from the 40k I'd sent to him. Upon getting there, we didn't find any information linking to the scammer. The scammer wasn't in the office address he gave me, nor the home address. If not for experienced officers I went there with, we would have ended up defaming and falsely accusing an innocent business or forcing out way into someone's private property because of Mozino.
I also called the phone number he gave me; wrong number. It belongs to the office he gave me, but none of those information was linked to the scammer. Thankful for some police officers that pitied me that day seeing how much I spent, they helped me get another tracker who gave me accurate information. We will be catching this person very soon by God's grace.
Now I go back to Mozino, informing him of everything that had happened and telling me he needs to give me a refund because none of what he gave me was useful. He still argues blindly that his work is never wrong. He refused to refund me and we kept going back and forth. I would have kept dragging this matter up until he blocked me, that was when I knew that he is a good for nothing scammer.
Mozino007, I am giving you a one and final chance to return my money. I am not asking you for fuel or mobilization money I spent. Only pay me what I gave you and I will delete all I have posted on your page, including this post, but if you want to prove stubborn, no problem. But know that it will not end well for you.
I will not only defame you, but I will lay a heavy curse on you as well. I am going through a lot with all the money I lost this period, you saw my struggles and you decided to be an extra burden to me. It will not end well. I promise you. I am ready to send this to all your followers so they will beware of you. Don't make me do what I have in mind. Refund my money so you will have your peace of mind.
For anyone that wants to greet him for me, here is his contact information:
And did he tell him, he is making the country the best in the world, everything is improving positively or the truth that the country is getting worst daily
Newly-hired domestic helpers drug, rob Congressman's family after serving them sedative-laced tea
A newly hired couple working as domestic helpers planned with two others to drug and rob the family of Indian Congressman Sandeep Chaudhary at his residence on Wednesday, May 14.
The accused, along with two unidentified accomplices, are currently on the run, according to Times of India.
Police said the incident occurred at Chaudhary's house in Anand Nagar under the Vaishali Nagar police station limits.
The main suspects, identified as Kajal and Bharat, worked as cooks at the residence for just 15 days.
According to a preliminary investigation, the duo served sedative-laced tea to Chaudhary's mother Krishna (75) and wife Mamta (43) early in the morning. Once the women fell unconscious, the accused called in two accomplices, looted valuables from the house, and fled.
Chaudhary's two children were also present in the house at the time but were unharmed.
After both the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law lost consciousness, the accused removed the jewellery they were wearing. They also looted additional cash and ornaments from a cupboard in the room.
The incident came to light around 7.30am when Chaudhary, a former chairman of the Barren Land Development Board, was out of the city, and was unable to reach his mother and wife by phone. He alerted his daughter who rushed to the room and found both women unconscious.
Chaudhary then alerted his relatives and neighbours and asked them to go to his residence. The two women were then taken to hospital for treatment.
The couple, who earlier worked in Gujarat, was hired about 15 days ago through a placement agency.
Police found their ID details, photographs, and CCTV footage showing their entry and exit from the house. An official added that once the women lost consciousness, the accused completed the robbery within 45 minutes and fled.
Security camera captured them before escaping WATCH
"There are indications that one of the women may have resisted when her jewellery was removed. Police found signs of struggle, a few bloodstains, and evidence of vomiting," said an official.
