flywaterbo:My friend, your otherwise strong case is already weakened by the fact of the extra charges of N4m the Buyer had to pay on top of the actual purchase price. Don't let anyone mislead you into litigating this matter. You will end up paying legal fees and you will not likely get anything in return. Unless you can wriggle out of lack of diligence over that extra payment and can validly show that it was improbable for you to be aware of those charges at the time of negotiation, then don't go near a law court. Talk to a lawyer who may not likely represent you to obtain dispassionate advice. A word is enough for the wise. |
The Buyer's reason for not paying your full fee is very genuine. You were not diligent in disclosing what turned out as extra charges amounting to N4m. This is more so when you are aware he was relying on bank loan. You should he happy he's paying you a lesser sum which l advise you grab with both hands. I always make it clear to Agents that l want to know all charges beforehand as my budget may not accommodate surprises. This is a lesson to all. We should be mindful of hidden charges when buying properties as this may crash budgets. Our so-called professionals are won't to ignore these possibilities just in the eagerness to sell only to spring surprises just as deals are closing. So my friend, no tears for your lamentations. |
lomprico:What exactly do u know?. With that your factory-fitted ignorant mind? |
Sijo01:Symptoms of crass ignorance. What a pity! Transportation includes Aviation, Railways & Shipping. Parastatals under Transportation: FAAN-Federal Airports Authority of Nig NPA- Nigerian Ports Authority NCAA-Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority NRC-Nigeria Railway Corporation NIMASA to mention the major ones. |
[quote author=lomprico post=39906539]Amechi minister of driver [/quuote]Transportation includes Land n Air Transportation which has Aviation and Railways. No more Aviation as a separate Ministry. |
sparkleboy:In answer to your poser above, attached is a link to a sparkling 2006 Toyota Camry toks going for N1.6m. www.nairaland.com/2693089/2006-toyota-camry-leather-interior So have you woken up from your state of inebriation? |
PRYCE:Are u aware if the tribunal made any findings with regard to the actual petition and the prayers sought. I find it strange that the tribunal would have raised the issue of eligibility suo motu. Indeed, even if it did, upon what evidence would the tribunal have arrived at its findings. That would be a herculian task. My take is that the issue came up during the trial and evidence must have been adduced by relevant parties. Unless some elements of magic were imported, the tribunal could not have arrived at that decision without taking evidence since it was an internal PDP matter and l doubt if the APC candidate will be in position to furnish relevant evidence. These issues cannot be addressed on this forum without having the benefit of reading the judgement. |
Six or Eight Cylinders? |
kencarters:Now its time you tender an apology to Nicebaba. And after reading through this thread, anyone who buys that your scrappy contraption for more than 30k should have his head examined. |
This is a SCAM! Called this rogue just now to confirm the car location but he said its still at the port awaiting clearing. He had forgotten that the pictures clearly show that the car is already in a private house. So its not possible that the car could he at the port. He quickly switched off when he realised his lid had been blown open. All he could muster is that the car will be delivered to me anywhere in Nigeria which is the usual refrain of fraudsters. N/landers, pls be on your guard! |
rangis:Car is in Samisa Forest. |
jaminconsult:Title says ''SOLD''. Yet you think it needs a new home. Scamming is a disease! BUYERS BEWARE OF THIS SCAMMER! |
Chukky234 You have done excellently well with this apology. It takes a lot of guts for people to do this, especially in our peculiar environment. I really salute your courage! It's now time for all to cease hostilities and regard the extras in your statement as justifiably necessary to butress your claim to 'pious' antecedents. And the beat goes on ..................... |
wheredemdey:This is unnecessary, kid! You come across as someone with a faulty upbringing. Very very indecent and uncultured. This forum has no space for gutter products. |
No harm intended my bro. Just driving home some hard facts. I'm a Benz fanatic so l get emotional about Benz tins. Its a freeworld though but we have to be open to one another. My wish is for you to sell but l can't wish for the impossible. So pls let's take all the reactions in good faith. All the best. |
kengodson:Kindly educate me on your idea of 'bidding'. My understanding of bidding (and I've participated in many) is to start from a low base price and keep pushing until the Seller's reserve price is met and in the absence of further bids, the bell rings in acceptance of the final bid. In this case, it appears we can only do reverse bidding which you've already adjudged as being unruly. You are in the public space and l expect you to be guarded in your choice of words. You can't stop guys from commenting on your post having subjected same to public scrutiny by posting on this forum. The test of reasonableness of your pricing is simple, thus ---- CAN U IN ALL SINCERITY DIP UR HANDS IN UR POCKET AND PAY 4M or EVEN N3.6M FOR THIS CAR? I leave the rest to your conscience. |
mbahjohnpaul:OMG!!! I dey laff!!! |
kossyablaze:Don't give unsolicited opinions on topics you are completely ignorant of. This is not about okada. And always reason deeply before you talk lest you become object of ridicule. |
You should descend from fantasyland and be more realistic in your pricing. What's the sense in negotiating a car of N1.5M and you expect me to start from 4m. I've just seen your other topics and you should be introspective why people are ignoring your Ads. Tagging those relics (e.g. Merc Vboot for 350k) with crazy prices. If car owners dictate stupid prices to you, why can't you advise them and stop being an errand boy. The market dictates prices not some confused dealers |
4m for a used E350? When a very clean Toks goes for less than N2.5m. This is either a joke or sheer reckless pricing. |
Yes, you will swipe the black base of the screen from left to right. |
In the power saving mode, the phone gives u a black n white screen with only four icons. Just swipe (pls do not tap) the bottom bar of the screen and a dialogue box will pop up as 'quit saving mode'. Just tap the white dialog box and the default screen will be restored. |
Why place an Ad when you aren't yet ready to sell. This is a completely meaningless Ad. For your information, BM has many models of vehicles produced in 2001. You don't have to bring up an Ad as if u are one of those folks who think all newspapers are called 'Daliy Times'. |
Dragonking:You should be the one to shut up. The story quoted a government source but you won't understand because of your low level of intellect. Go and drown |
OdofinLadi:I suppose that what u call 'normal' is the third party policy that costs N5,000.00 as opposed to comprehensive insurance. The third party policy merely covers injuries or damage caused to other people/vehicles by you. Thus the policy will not cover any damage to your vehicle. The fellow who caused damage to your vehicle will be held responsible if he has a valid third-party policy. His third party policy will cover damages caused to your vehicle even including the fence that was pulled down by the impact. You should have involved the Police from the onset as the Insurance company will require a Police report. But the starting point for you is to confirm that the other guy has a valid policy and not those ones they issue for N1,000 at Licensing offices. All the best. |
