There's no need for insults. Sentiments apart, Zlatan's new contract wasn't necessary, it's just because United is currently a pot of gold and currently needs players that command respect. Never liked the idea of re-signing him from the start because of his age and threatening Lukaku's minutes this season (Lukaku wasn't threatened at the end). It is what it is.

i get your point.. it just seemed unnecessary to now ridicule him as if he didn't do anything for us at all. We might or might not have been good without him but it turned out we won 2 trophies with him on the side with some considerable number of goals from him. We hoped he'll provide competition with Lukaku when he returns from his injury.. We all praised him n called him non human when he seemed to have recovered. Lukaku has played every match for us, Ibrahimovic would have been great here and there as Lukaku looked tired at certain points this season and goals dried up but that didn't work out and we've now terminated his contract to allow him move on to other things. He wasn't greedy to stay, he believed he had unfinished business with us which i believe was the UCL. Thanks to him and wish him great things. This is not the time for negative rhetorics, we did it when he was playing with us but as he goes wish him well and move on. Its like going to a good man's funeral and reminding people of all the bad things he did. He wasn't perfect but that is not the time. Why blame him for collecting 8 months salary and not working? Did he show signs of someone not working to fitness? If we say that about Zlatan what about Jones who can't stay fit for 2 weeks to save his life. That guy has collected millions from the treatment table. Now let's look at the team and our work so far this season. If you trash talk Zlatan Ibrahimovic you are a fool! Nothing else. He could have gone to China having destroyed France but he came to England, the so-called most difficult league in the world, did his best with 26 or so goals in twice the number of games. A decent return for an aging pro in a difficult league. He tried to come back but it just didn't work out so he leaves like a pro. Years from now United fans will look back at players like him and realize it was surreal to have such player with all his achievements don our shirt and be part of our story rising back from the ashes. We will remember that players like Di Maria, Falcao, Schweinsteiger some of Europe's best players played for us in our darkest days. It was a privilege to see these guys wear our shirt and step out at old Trafford.. Expired or not.

Mourinho has won so much there's no fight left in him.. I remember a certain manager managed us for 20 something odd years, won a treble, won the league title consecutively for 3 years straight. It took a bereavement for him to finally step down. We bandy names about but have we ever wondered what fantastic achievements these names have made in European football in the past 5 years or so. Did Nagelsman reach a UCL Final or won a league title back to back.. Nouri was dismissed by Werder Bremen, Poch? What are their amazing feats? We should be hearing what our new potential managers have done elsewhere other that playing beautiful football and winning jack. Even Klopp who tried to upset the odds in Germany can only brandish his scattered teeth every time to the press as trophies won in England.

I guess when City got rid of the players they were not in need of, bought new quality ones and promoted those that would be promoted, they were playing FIFA 18. I am very sure I didn't mention Shaw in my post because i am not going to argue the manager's position on Shaw. If he's not good enough sell him, but Young should be sold too because we need better quality and a young blood to groom. Shaw has hardly played for the team so it's not his fault that we are so many points behind or we are out of the Champions League. If the manager insists on using same players but you want us to blame the players that the manager is insisting on using, I don't see the sense in it. I'm not even going to buy that story about no available quality or money or that this is not football manager.
