Arsenal could go as low as playing in the Europa league with manure.

Having won all there is in football...the Europa league would be the crown on all of Uniteds achievements. We go into the competition expecting to win it. Same can't be said of Arsenal in the UCL

Speaking he says 'I am still focused on the tournament but i would like to say on this i am very glad to have made this decision, i was amazed i was being linked to Assnal, I wouldn't even permit my corpse to play for them. I want to win and keep winning big with Leicester City. I don't want tin cups every now and then. I don't want to go the Champions league to make numbers but fight to be a Champion. That is my dream. This thread is like when children are playing ball aimlessly.... Someone comes, makes a controversial statement, ppl jump on it, go back n forth, forth n back for like 5days or 10 pages, then they tire out n return to some present footballing or spot event, then after some period of quietness... somebody thinks up some controversial notion sure to start an argument, then process repeats, rinse n repeat n u have pages of the most mundane arguments in football history

COMPETE OR DIE

While I was young, I wanted to live with nature
And watch how I grow from miniature
Compete or die, this is what happen to the creature
Then I knew I won't live unless I compete in the nation

I am third, you are first, so I was taught in the primary
Prizes and gifts were given to him annually
The last weep and cry from the crowd angrilly
Life is a race, so it is actually

I got third class, he got first class
So he's the best person for the task
This is what we were meant to know in the university at last
That the top eat gold and the bottom eat the grass

We are all caught up in this rat race
Life is full of competition from cradle to grave
Compete and win, let this be your aim
And you will be the world's aid

Being a medical personnel myself, i think it's best you stay off the internet and especially nairaland for a minimum of 5 years. I know nairaland is your life support, the only reason you wake up in the morning, but it would do you a world of good if you take sometime off your addiction. There'll be withdrawal symptoms for sure, hallucinations as the names of the people who give essence to your existence are no longer around, i believe you'll come through eventually. You'll feel fresh and you'd even be suprised how you now say stuffs that actually sound reasonable to you. Until then, please go offline and save your life.

Ander Herrera delivers revelation about the final months of Louis van Gaal's reign
ANDER HERRERA has admitted speculation over Louis van Gaal's future made the Dutchman's final months at Old Trafford 'uncomfortable'.
By Alex Harris / Published 1st June 2016
Jose Mourinho was made odds-on favourite to succeed Van Gaal in December .
Starsport exclusively revealed in February that the former Chelsea boss had been lined-up for the job .
The managerial switch eventually happened after the FA Cup final triumph but Herrera insists the talk did not affect the players.
Herrera told Marca: "It wasn't a comfortable time, but we are professionals, and so we didn't allow it to distract us.
"I must say that the coach remained strong throughout.
"He never showed signs of surrender and, in the end, we won the FA Cup.
"Van Gaal is an honest guy and has always put
Manchester United above all else."
Van Gaal signed Herrera from Athletic Bilbao in 2014 and the Spanish midfielder will always be grateful to him.

When asked whether he was shocked to see Van Gaal go, Herrera added: "Nothing surprises you in football today.
"United have to fight for every title and, when they lose that fight, this is one of the outcomes.
"In many ways I think he has done a good job.
"I'm grateful to him because he signed me and so gave me the opportunity to play more than 70 games, in two years, at arguably the world's largest club."
Kagawa10:
I have searched Marca and can't find this quote anyway.
Won't be surprised if it's just Pr things!
Anyway, my point is there's no way a coach would bench a big money signing at the start of the season he was signed if he was really his signing.
The same happened with Gotze under Pep who many thought was signed by Pep to operate as a false 9 in his tiki taka style until Pep showed in his actions that he never wanted him in the first place. Also note that Pep never came out to the media that Gotze wasn't his signing.
More so, Bayern board told Gotze that Pep wanted him and that was one of the reason the eediot left Klopp.
I could imagine a scenario like tis
Pep/Van gaal: I want Neymar / I want Bastian and Alaba
Bayern/Manutd Board: he's still unproven and would command high fees coupled with the fact that Brazilians has been less successful here. However, there's Gotze who's quite better and already had huge experience in the league. It would also be great to have the best German talent at the club / Both players are not available right now but there are players like Herrera and Shaw who we've been monitoring for a while and had already been in touch with them and they have enormous potential to be as good as your preferred players.
Pep / Vangaal: Ok.

This useless piece of thrash is at it again.
I stated that I couldn't find the news in Marca (I checked the English version though) and the onus is on the said poster to provide the link, not I.
That's still doesn't dispute the fact he was never Van gaal's signing. A tongue in cheek gratitude when he was one of the ringleader campaigning for Mourinho to take over is still bullshite by the way.
Bayern board also told Gotze that Pep 'okayed' his signing but was he Pep's signing? Definitely no.
The fact that Van gaal wouldn't act as the classless Mourinho who often put his players under the bus doesn't make Herrera his signing. If he was, he would have trusted Herrera more by constantly giving him playtime at the start of the season he got signed, which he didn't. Same way Pep treated Gotze.
Wouldn't expect a dead brained maggot like you, who couldn't understand a simple word like 'instinct' to grasp my point. You're several level beneath me in reasoning though.
Eediot still reeling from his disgrace on here while being outed as the piece of lying pathetic shite he is. Just know that I'm no Ramdeuter who's all smile while you and your fellow fools throw insult at him and expect love in returns.

I think one of the problems with Nairaland and how Seun runs it is that it is being run like a blog rather than NAIRALAND! Won't be nice if more nairalanders are encouraged to open new threads of their startups with pictures of what they've been able to achieve pushed to frontpage weekly or monthly rather than bore us with news of some pantless Ghanaian LovePeddler or whether Wizkid got some slutt pregnant or not...It's a shame the Nl i met in 2007 has gone to the dogs all in the name of staying relevant. elampiro:

I ran into some Arsenal fans, I heard them saying United would have beaten West Ham comfortably if Fellaini was available. They said United lost the match to aerial battle and physical battle.

I think when we are buying players again, height and ability to jump, head, run, should be considered along other qualities. Gaal said we have the smallest players in the league.

We were very poor in defending and attacking set plays last season. This season is even worse. Few goals from set plays, and many goals conceded from set plays. I remember two matches in almost same period when we conceded very late goals immediately Fellaini was substituted, one of the matches was against Leicester. At the end those needless points dropped came back to hurt us.

I have a feeling if we had 80-90% of our senior players fit all the time, we could have won the league. We didn't concede from set play when Luke Shaw was fit and we had almost the whole team fit.

Ibrahimovic?
