S plus will make a good buy for your Sister cos it's Lighter than M5. Every other thing about both device are the same thing except for the USB type C port that S plus has and the giant battery of M5

Pls anyone who has used both m5 and s plus, can u tell me which one is better? I know both have the same camera but is there any difference in the picture quality? I have personally settled for the m5 becos i care about battery since iam not a photo freak, but my sis plans on getting a phone next week and i have recommended the gionee s plus for her

How long does the battery last

All this talk of tweak this tweak that, flash this firmware or that buildprop. So does it mean that if i just buy this phone i cant enjoy it just like that? Becos not all of us are technicians and i cant risk bricking the phone because this money is hard earned. You pple should just be honest before i buy it on monday, or if there is any one in abuja that can assist me in all these flashing stuff.

Pls guys my sister's Hot note is refusing to switch to 3G network, if u try to switch it will display a message that com.android.phone has stopped. Pls i need help urgently thanks

Pls can u kindly give me stats like how many hours does the battery last under heavy usage. I almost got the m5 yesterday but the seller told me 45k meanwhile i budgeted 42k, so iam thinking of going for the s plus but battery is a major concern for me

Just an advice to an heavy user. The ba3 is li-polymer and discharge quickly more dan li-ion. For an heavy user, u can't enjoy d phone but if u ain't. ..go for it. Everything else is good except the ba3. I used it for 5 days and sold it the 6th day. Now using m5

How much did u buy ur m5 and are u experiencing any force closing of apps or games?

wc one is app settings ,whr wil i find it. And i alr lose hope on ths game, until i find sm1 using camon c8 as mine playing it.

I remember some games i have played , at first i will get that invalid license message so in order to by pass it, use lucky patcher to remove license verification from the app, or u open the game through freedom app. But u must be rooted in order to do these.
Alternatively, u can look for the cracked version of the apk, and when u launch it make sure ur data is off. Hope this helps

I just got mine last week and overall it's been amazing. I am not much if a gamer so don't know much in that department. The multitasking is superb. I am more of twitter, instagram snapchat. They all open very smoothly simultaneously. Battery life too is awesome. The phone even comes with two batteries. The camera on the phone is the best I have used so far. You should get it. I would drop a review soon

Put it in normal , maybe ur normal is the same as his own "none" since they both say "no power optimization" . Just my own opinion though

If you are a very heavy user, it can last for the whole day.
Moderate use can take 2days+ on a single charge.

The bundled charger chargers the 6000mah unit fast.
150mims can get you from 0-100%.
Tested this out myself.


The amigo 3.1 is by far the best amigo ui.
It's well optimized.
Smooth transitions while panning the home screen.
The first two days I used the default launcher without any issues. But had to revert to my trusted nova launcher.

Apps don't crash. Multitasking is a breeze.
But mind you if you are using the power saving "normal mode" you'll experience hiccups in the gaming department. For the best experience if you are a heavy user , uncheck the power saving features since the battery is more than adequate.

I went for the gionee m5 because of the build and it's battery. It feels very solid with its metal construction. It balances well with its weight. Feels expensive in the hand.
