BeninRefugees: pains
Percentage of Area: 1 🟣Lagos: 34.4% 2 🟢Imo: 25.1% 3 🟢Anambra: 23.5% 4 🟤Akwa Ibom: 15.6% 5 🟢Abia: 15.5% 6 🟣Ogun: 10.3% 7 🟢Enugu: 9.6% 8 🟣Osun: 8.9% 9 🟤Rivers: 7.9% 10 🟤Delta/🟣Ekiti: 6.8%
🟢SE 🟤SS 🟣SW
Built Up: -- Human made structures -- Major road and rail network -- Large homogeneous impervious surfaces including parking structures, office buildings and residential housing
Examples: Houses, sense villages/towns/cities, paved roads, asphalt. Brb to school you. Look at this scenario James earns £1000 and he spends 50% of it monthly on housing Ellie earns £5000 and she spends 30% of it monthly on housing. It simply means James spends £500 on housing while Ellie spends £1500 on housing. From the above scenario, James spends higher percentage of his salary on housing than Ellie does.It doesn't mean James earns higher than Ellie. You are basing your assumptions on high percentages without taking into consideration the total landmass of each geographical areas in question. In this case, everybody knows that SE is the smallest region in Nigeria hence the high percentage but in reality, it's not really built up. |

Jokerman: See another stat below 😂👇
MOST BUILT UP STATES IN NIGERIA, 2023
Percentage of Area: 1 🟣Lagos: 34.4% 2 🟢Imo: 25.1% 3 🟢Anambra: 23.5% 4 🟤Akwa Ibom: 15.6% 5 🟢Abia: 15.5% 6 🟣Ogun: 10.3% 7 🟢Enugu: 9.6% 8 🟣Osun: 8.9% 9 🟤Rivers: 7.9% 10 🟤Delta/🟣Ekiti: 6.8%
Even Abịa is more built up than Ogun... Too bad...🎤 Abias landmass is not up to Akinyele local government in Oyo state... Don't be lazy.. Do your calculations by the total landmass..You will see that the total land wey Abia get no pass half of Ogun state. |

AntiMarxist: NE ?
NE is far better as it contributes enormously to Nigerian economy.
Remove BH and see NE return to its glory.
States like Taraba , Adamawa , Bauchi and Gombe are blessed with tourism potential , minerals and agriculture. I don't know why they are always insecure.Anyway, it's the kind of upbringing they got. Very soon, NE shall return to its glory by God's grace. |

AntiMarxist: The idiot thinks this is a sign of development when it only signals how densely populated the SE is owing to population and tiny land mass.
They are all crammed in and think it's a good thing.
Niger State is three times the land mass of the SE with less than 10% population
It's for this reason the world Bank once declared Niger as the richest state based purely on available land .
Australia is considered the most richest country by same World Bank because no asset is greater than land which in their case they don't have. Everything is competition to them.A region that is in the league of North East. |

yoruboid: Very unintelligent
Even when you remove Lagos which is about 3000km2, the rest of the SW has more built up areas than the SE which is just about the same landmass with Oyo State
I know you still won’t get it because you take advise from a mad man
Kudos to the person who did this breakdown They are just exposing the kind of education they got in that region with their ignorance. |

SE--36,900,km2 SW--76,853km2 SS--84,587km2 NC...242,245km2 NW....214,395km2 NE...289,421
This means built-up areas in each geographical zones will be
SE--5,756km2 SW--8,954km2 SS--5,726km2 NC--7,243km2 NW--3,687km2 NE--2,460km2

Wetin concern government and religious fasting?
We've not talked about sponsoring hajj o Na this one pain pass..Some states even sponsor weddings. I think it's because religious organizations (churches, mosques, shrines etc)are classified as non profit making organisations worldwide and that's how it's supposed to be.Their other profit making arm like schools, printing press, microfinance banks, bakeries etc pay tax because they are seen as profit making ventures. |

Very Despicable tribe I'm a Yoruba..Yorubas are cousins to Urhobo, itshekiri and benin Who are more Deltans than the itshekiris and Urhobo in delta state. Yorubas have crude oil if you don't know and have been at the forefront of resource control because they are contented with the resources in their region. Now tell me, why are your elders dead or alive afraid of resource control?Instead it's your people that will attach themselves to SS because of their oil and SS no send una. |
