The truth is the naira appreciation is good for our country... Anybody that earns in foreign currency and spends in naira will not be happy with the naira appreciation whereas those that earns in naira and spends foreign currencies are expected to be happy.

It's ridiculous for a governor to be going around commissioning boreholes..?You mean a whole governor will leave the governors office to go and commission a borehole...
If a whole governor can go down to the level of commissioning a borehole,what will a ward councilor commission?.
Maybe Mr. Obi decided to do the work of ward councilors since there was no local government executives throughout his 8years tenure as governor,After all, na him chop their allowances and salaries.

Yeah..They can board them from Owerri, Enugu, Kano, Ph using their local planes on their regular local flights...Travellers from these locations will prefer this arrangement to going to passing the night in Lagos or Abuja using same air peace oo before boarding say British airways or Virgin Atlantic the following day..BA, VA will not fly to Owerri, Enugu, PH or Kano to airlift passengers.

I don't think those routes are lucrative enough compared to Lagos. I honestly don't see Air Peace successful in the long run as they won't be able to complete at some point.

What they will do is since their local flights fly to Owerri, they will give Owerri travellers opportunity to book from Owerri to London and will have stopover of maybe 2 hours in Lagos..They can slightly increase the fare for this class of people.
Virgin applied the same tactics from Manchester.

Airpeace can introduce Enugu to London flight, pharcourt to London flight and even Kano to London flight...This is a way to capture travellers from these states instead of them disembarking in Lagos or Abuja before boarding to London.
These flights will be routed through Lagos to join air peace flight from Lagos to London.

I know Virgin does the same in the uk by capturing Manchester...You can book from Manchester to Lagos but the itinerary is usually Manchester to London to Lagos.

I think air peace should be innovative here.They shouldn't allow their airlines to have any ethnic coloration.

The government can frustrate the foreign airlines by not giving them their dollars. That's one way to run them out of business or frustrate them like before.

Nigerians will suffer...Only Airpeace can't fly to all these foreign destinations.FG can't give BA or Virgin their fund without giving KLM

If you have the SIM card of the line with you, simply open another WhatsApp account with that line...it will log the other person out.

True...If he start charging the same fare as British airways or Virgin, Nigerians will prefer the foreign airlines because those airlines will offer better services and most passengers will prefer Heathrow to Gatwick.

Air peace needs to be creative here and improve their services.

I pity air peace but he should know this will happen... Government can give air peace a kinda reduced tax on that route.Without government intervention, Air peace cant survive operating on that route.

The problem with Sanwo-Olu is that he is too humble, accessible, and available for Nigerians who have been so mentally abused and dehumanized by the military and those in power over the years.

Meanwhile, the politicians who do not care about anyone striking or protesting, or being killed extra-judicially in the states where they rule, have become the darling candidates to be supported.

Sanwo Olu knows that he can't be a governor for life..As for declaring curfew during endsars, that was what a reasonable governor should do...Before declaring the curfew,protesters already burnt orile police station, mushin police station and even killed some police officers...To stop the breakdown of law and order, the best is to declare curfew...Curfew was declared, some people went against the law under the guise of protest to continue their destructions of government properties and killing of policemen and you expect the government not to act by enforcing the curfew, kolewerk naw.

This is ridiculous.I expect Obi to do better or is this the type of borehole in Agulu city.

If you live in the north, you will be surprised with the kind of welfarism the government does there to the extent that they marry wives for them..They pay less for government services like international passport, school fees, medical fees etc..
The other time we read that 90bn was approved for hajj..Comrades, the larger percentage of this will go to the north..They can't survive without Nigeria.

All these reduction of foreign airline fare is as a result of Naira appreciation...Don't be deceived, there's no fare reduction here...
The foreign airlines repatriate their funds in foreign currencies while air peace doesn't need repatriation of fund.
If you check BA and Virgin booking site, it's still the same fare that was charged last year that they still charge till now...

There are some categories of Air France customers that would prefer to fly Lagos-Paris-London:

For customers outside these two groups, AirPeace is still a steal at its current price coupled with the yummy naija food they are offering in their flights. Virgin would likely lose more customers to AirPeace the most. BA has very loyal customers that only fly them even when Virgin Atlantic is cheaper e.g. Rich Nigerians.

Only BA and Virgin are the competitors Air peace has...Do you know that you need a transit visa when flying through euro zone enroute UK? Majority see it as extra stress.If Air France or Klm is serious, they should discuss with their government to waive transit visa for us when enroute the UK on their carriers.
