I've got a lovely phone. A nice, efficient Blackberry 9650 (Bold 3) it's black in colour with a brown pouch and so wonderful. If you're interested in either purchasing or swapping it, signify I stay in Lagos and Minna. |
FlamingGun: You have received very good advice from most contributors to this thread. FlamingGun: You have received very good advice from most contributors to this thread. |
Interesting |
I've got a clean nice BB 9650 (Bold 3) with it's complete accessories. Yeah, I'm in Abuja. |
Frosbel, in the past, I have never agreed with any of your posts, but I must confess, your post today about the needy in the Church touched me and made me see you in a new light. Back to the topic: A man met Jesus and asked what he must do to be saved. Imagine, after obeying the commandments, something was still missing in his life. Love! Charity! No wonder when Jesus asked him to sell his things and give to the poor he became sad. In the scripture, Jesus repeated this several times, that He is not after animal sacrifice but human kindness. Jesus would question us on the last day, that when He was hungry, thirsty and naked, did we give Him food, water and clothes respectively? Many would ask when did Jesus make this request and the answer would be "WHATEVER YOU DO TO THE LEAST OF YOUR BROTHERs, THAT YOU DO UNTO ME" In the parable of the good Samaritan, the Levi Priest who passed was holy, but something was still missing in his life, Love! Charity! Jesus praised the traveller who responded to the wounded man's plight and described our neighbour/brother to be anyone who needs help and not necessarily those we know or are linked to. Truth be told, being righteous alone might not guaranty us a place in heaven. Without love and charity, we cannot see God. Yes! 1John 3:16-18 says and I quote: "This is how we know what love is: Christ gave His life for us. We too, then, ought to give our lives for our brothers! If a rich person sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against his brother, how can he claim that he loves God? My children, our love should not be just words and talk; it must be true love, which shows itself in action." |
pDude: Ok since na you read bible pass me, tell me what JESUS said about midnight prayers. Matthew 25:6: “It was already midnight when the cry rang out, 'Here is the bridegroom! Come and meet Him!" Matthew 26:36-45: "Jesus said to them, the sorrow in my heart is so great that it almost crushes me. Stay here and keep watch with me.............Then He returned to the three disciples and found them asleep: and He said to Peter, "How is it that you three were not able to keep watch with me even for one hour? Keep watch and pray that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak"........once more Jesus went away and prayed......He returned once more and found the disciples asleep; they could not keep their eyes open.......Again, Jesus left them, went away, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. Then He returned to the disciples and said, "Are you still sleeping and resting?" Mark 1:35- "Very early the next morning, long before daylight, Jesus got up and left the house. He went out of the town to a lonely place, where He prayed". Luke 5:16 "But Jesus would go away to lonely places where He prayed". Luke 18:1- "Then Jesus told His disciples a parable to teach them that they should always pray and never become discouraged" Luke 18:7 "Now, will God not judge in favour of His own people who cry to him day and NIGHT for help? Will He be slow to help them? I tell you, He will judge in their favour and do it quickly" Luke 11:5: “And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves;” Midnight hour is the time to Ask, Seek and Knock the doors. Your petition at this hour makes things begin to happen for you. That hour is a weak period for the children of the bond woman. |
You were warned
In your mind, that's an achievement right? |
Grammar Police: "Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely."Yeah, that's right. |
Mynd44, leave grammar-police alone. What do you feel like? The United Nations? Stop letting this 'moderator' stuff get into your head. I see nothing wrong in Grammar Police asking if it's Efik or Swahili. Ban me if you like, I can use the break to check other sites. Ehmm, lest I forget, personally I prefer flow and Larry sun, and Ishilove too. |
OUR ENGINEERING PROGRAMMES ARE THE BEST IN NIGERIA- VC (FUTminna) The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Musbau Adewumi Akanji, FNSBMB, has reiterated the institution’s glowing prowess in the field of engineering by stating that its engineering programmes are the best in Nigeria based on facilities, quality of faculty staff, research and content. The VC made this known recently when he received the executive members of Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) Minna Branch, who paid him a courtesy call on Tuesday, July 29, 2013 at the Council Chamber, Main Campus. Prof. Akanji said that the institution’s Engineering programmes have been adjudged as the best by National Universities Commission (NUC) and Council for the Registration of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) with full accreditation status. “In recognition of our strength in engineering courses, the institution has been approached through the Federal Executive Council to assist University of Abuja Engineering students to complete their studies”, Prof. Akanji added. NSE President, Engr. tolulinks: You have the highest GPA? Well great for you but do u get to have the same exposure and connection as this kids? Na. End of story OlowoTee: You are right...the exposure, the connections and opportunities are worth it...and that's invariably what you pay for. Though i do not despise those who go to low-paying schools, but if you have the money....pls go for the best! #Ninanlowo joeydozzy: If you can'T afford it, you don't comment. annexes: BOMB FOR THE POVERTY RIDDEN SET OF PEOPLE.Not everybody that attended a Federal Government College is 'poor' or 'poverty-stricken'. I don't know you and you don't know me, so we can't say who is poorer between the both of us, but I know I'm very comfortable. So stop these insults @Anne. I agree that kids who attend very expensive schools are probably more exposed and connected but that doesn't and shouldn't relegate or deny the fact that kids from less expensive schools can perform better or equal achievements attained by the 'wealthy'. |
fr3do: In my alma matter,we paid N180 for maintenance per term.thats N540 per annum.I attended Federal Science and Technical College, yaba, Lagos and presently, in the university I'm with a nice G.p in my department. So my dear friend, It's not all about the cost, though money plays a major role I.e comfort, quality textbooks, practicals e.t.c but also our personal effort and determination can help in shaping our future. |
I wanted to drop the steps on how to unfollow me until I saw this. I'm glad you've found the strength to fight your weakness. Its not everyone that succeeds in taking that bold step and sticking with it. Sex addiction is an ugly thing, especially if it happens to a married person like you. I've seen pains it could cause to relationships, and, although I ain't married yet, I know it can break up marriages and cause havoc. I'm happy for you, and I pray you find the strength to continue in this right path you've chosen. Don't forget to be prayerful, b'cos the weapon of our warfare is not carnal, but mighty in pulling down strongholds. Peace be with you brother. Kudos.
Mazi_Omenuko, with due respect, you can't speak from both sides of the coin. You are advising someone to pray against sexual addiction which I know could be triggered from reading indecent, obscene, pornographic literature, but you keep authoring and writing this evil literature...you fully endorse po`rnography and lure people into the trap yet you're here showing 'sympathy'. I know you made this comment just to clear your name. We should practice what we preach, I'm not judging you, sorry for my choice of words but the truth is, you would be helping so many people including yourself if you can delete the contents of your sex threads. The scripture warns against those who lead others to sin! |
Here's the explanation: The nigerian man too does not know the answer....but he is smart....at least he has $490left. Clever! |
BIBLE > New Testament > Colossians > 3 verse 16; "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord." |
