I've used GTBank for 7 years now. I'm very sure that GTBank displays my full account number when sending SMS and Email alert.

To be sure, I checked my SMS and email just now, and confirmed that all the alerts I've been receiving showed the account number in full. No asterisks.

The recipient is obviously using Guaranty Trust Bank. That's how GTB alert looks like. It shows the full account number, and doesn't show the date or time.

As for the balance, the screensize is small, so you can see it if she scrolls down and then snaps it. Also, I don't think she may want to show her balance on social media, so no one will tag her as being broke prior to the 1m gift.

The only thing surprising me in the route they followed. Since they supposedly came from Benin Republic (Cotonou), it means they passed through Lagos. If so, then the route to Anambra state (Onitsha) from Lagos ought to be Lagos-Ogun-Ondo-Edo-Delta-Anambra. Why then did they go to Niger State? It will be foolishness for them to follow Lagos-Ogun-Oyo-Kwara-Niger-Abuja-Kogi-Edo-Delta-Anambra route or to follow Lagos-Ogun-Ondo-Kogi-Edo-Delta-Anambra. All in all, I don't see what a Lagos to Onitsha bound truck is doing in Niger State.

Having said that, I assume the arrested men are lying about their destination or the news is fake. For now, let's assume it's the former and not the latter.
