Visa granted on 16th of February

My visa was handed over to me today, its not a student visa but a work visa for 2yrs.. pls house what are the possible jobs one can get over there, even if its not a white collar job and how is life over there cos I heard some1 making reference to the racism over there.

Glory Glory to almighty God.

At about 1040 am Monday morning my valentine gift from Pretoria landed. Submitted at teleperfomance 4th January,got to Pretoria on the 7th January, mailed to go for medical 8th February and yesterday 15th February, grant arrived from PETA Stevens. Had all document submitted other than English proficiency test. Special thanks to everyone who have contributed selflessly and tremendously to this forum. Wish u all Well.

Hello guys,

Sad news for me,

I finally got a response from the case officer saying she has received the the documents and that my application is undergoing further checks and that she cannot give a timeline to this but they hope to get it sorted out soon.

Dear friends with that mail I finally give up, I have also an offer in the California State University so I guess that will be it. I can't be wanting to spend my money to go to school and still bullied around for no just reason. Who knows how long useless checks will take and have me waste my time for nothing.

Thanks Nairalanders for all, I won't withdraw my application but rather I will just forget it as if no application was ever made.

be hopeful, its good not to bother ur mind with it, but dont give up...most of the time, its always good news..

1. offer later, COE, CV, all documents in ur cv, sponsorship later (i used my cousin brother with a diff surname), sworn affidavit from sponsor, passport data page of u an ur sponsor, ur sponsor letter of sponsorship or conformation of employment, statement of account (6M and above), nysc discharge, OSHC.
i used BCIE as my agent, and in BCIE u must resent statement of account.
to have an age without fear, provide all document on checklist and do ur medicals in time cus u dont have to wait for them to call u before u go for medical.

I just got my grant today oooo at exactly 2:10pm

i applied on the 11th January 2016, got to Pretoria 14th, frontloaded medicals like 3 weeks and exactly 22 days grant showed on the 10th Feb.
Thanks to this online family for all guidance all through this great adventure.

I intend to move to Perth on the 18th, any travel partner?

I applied and did teleperformance on the 18th Jan 2016
It got to Pretoria on 21th Jan 2016
Visa Granted 10th Feb 2016.
Thanks to you guys for the encouragements , God bless you guys. To those still waiting, i assure you that your visa will surely be Granted

Please I have a question. With the recent forex limitations in Nigerian banks, how is the best way to pay for aus visa fees? I mean would banks do such transaction or do I have to go and source exchange in the parallel market?

visa fees is paid in naira at where u are lodging ur application..

Got my grant Feb 5th.

Application lodged at teleperformance on the 8th of dec 2015
No SOA,NO future employment letter..i even made a mistake on my SoP nd Cv which got me scared but God didn't forsake me.

I Would like to thank you all for the prayers and guidance tru out the application process and wait, may God bless you all..special thanks to @erictack, nd my newest school mates @joey and @ifeco for proof reading my sop and helping me truout the process, blessings shall follow you all..As for those expecting grants, God will surprise u guys very very soon with grants and oda goodies.

I av been following this thread since last year and I must say the favour of God is here...Congrats to all those recieving grants and congrats to us prospective grantees...
I would be applying before July for July entry in ECU, svp 573..Hopefully we would be the last set of SVP regime..
