Good news about Buhari is now coming from NTA network Reduction of politicians faces from news line all we see now are technocrats. Stoppage of war drum from Niger delta war lords. No more dangerous statements coming from our politicians. Nigerians now look at Boko Haram as bunch of misled Nigerians who are now getting their ass kicked. Refineries are now working. Fuel importers are now begging, Electricity is now at an average of 12 to 15hrs a day. Ogoni is getting cleanup, Policing is no longer for only the rich but the poor Check points have now varnished. Corrupt government officials are now retiring themselves. While others are returning their loots voluntarily. IGR is increasing and external reserve is also rising dramatically, Now properties in Abuja are cheaper than in many other states. Government and all agencies are now having a single account TSA. Our greedy banks are no longer collecting dollars deposits. Appointment is now based on merit. Nigerian politicians show less interest to be appointed as ministers. For over a month there was no statement coming from the first lady and the wife of the president is traveling on commercial flights. All this is done without a minister, is all done by one man, one mind, one soul without the interference of others. What will happen to Nigeria after ministers are appointed? What a change! What a great leader!! Sai Baba. |

Once upon a time a General who was a
good King was betrayed by his Chief of Army
Staff as history says to cover up a drug
investigation. The General was arrested by a
young officer called Sambo who later
became ADC to the new honcho. They locked
the General and good King up for years and
didn't even let him attend his mother's
funeral.
Many years later, a King from Otuoke was on
the throne, he appointed the same Sambo at
the request of the gap toothed former king
who lives on a hill in minna to be his
security chief. The King of Otuoke was
clueless and Sambo used the opportunity to
steal many yams. Yams that were meant for
the kingdom's soldiers ended in Sambo and
many of his peers pocket.
The good old King persevered, he wanted to
rest but couldn't stand what gap tooth,
farmer soldier and Otuoke had done to his
people. And he kept trying to get back on
the throne, finally after 12 years God heard
the prayer of his people and returned Good
King back to the throne. By then the
kingdom was in disarray, goats had taken
over and eaten almost all the yams.
Well life has gone full circle, the hunter has
now become the hunted. As soon as Good
King came back on the throne, despite
people like Sambo doing everything to try to
stop him, Sambo wanted to run, but Good
King said NO, "work with me for a while".
Good King was a wise man, by his little
interaction with Sambo he has been able to certify that
Sambo has a few barns full of our stolen yams. Well
guess what, today Sambo is now the one staring arrest
in the face. I am sure he is remembering how long they
unjustly jailed good King and he is already regretting.
No matter what, he would not only go to jail, he would
vomit our yams.
Lesson for us all, let's be fair in all we do,

A retired military general, Brig.-Gen. Ayodele Ojo,
has accused the Peoples Democratic Party of
trying to cause instability in the country for
President Muhammadu Buhari-led government.
Ojo told our correspondent that the action of the
PDP senators to allow Ike Ekweremadu to
emerge as the Deputy Senate President in a
chamber controlled by the All Progressives
Congress was aimed at destabilising or
ambushing the new administration.
Ojo said, “I think that is not the best way to play
the role of opposition. The opposition should be
credible and constructive. As for the
distinguished Senator Ekweremadu, he should
have declined his nomination on moral grounds.
What new innovation or added value is he
bringing to that office?
To my mind, PDP should have allowed the new
government to successfully transit instead of
deliberately promoting instability or trying to
ambush it even before it takes off. My
suggestion to Ekweremadu is for him to resign
as the Deputy Senate President in the interest of
peace and stability of Nigeria. That to me is the
path of honour.”
Ojo, who was a director in the Defence
Headquarters, also criticised the National
Assembly for being the weakest link in the
nation’s democracy. He stated that Nigerian
lawmakers need to exhibit democratic traits as
exhibited by the United States’ congress after
which the Nigerian legislative system was
fashioned.
On the President’s delay in appointing ministers,
the retired general argued that a serious
government with a mission for change could not
afford to hastily form its cabinet.
According to him, the President must resist any
attempt to be stampeded by the PDP and other
opposition elements into appointing ministers. |
