Do they let you walk out of there without handing you over to the authorities? I assume most people here didn't understand my initial write up.. Right at the Embassy after the interviewed I was taken inside for a secondary interrogation.. That was the point my passport was seized and I was referred to NIS.. Pls not NIN.. NOW I have appeared before NIS,(DOFIT) Where I was advised to appeal my case.. I have appealed and is three years now.. going to ABUJA thrice a year for on this matter |
iguita:Thanks |
iguita:Thanks But I will appreciate if you can make more emphasis about your friend whose Passport was seized and got a lawyer to help out.. My questions 1) Did he also sue U.S EMBASSY AND IF HE DID WHAT WAS THE OUTCOME.. 2) DID HE GENUINELY TRAVEL TO GHANA? THANKS |
[uote author=seborrhic post=107135428] Bloody liar. Wonder why many Nigerians just don't find anything wrong in lying. They always twist a story to suit their narrative.
I meant NIS Well, that is your opinion ...REF (BLOODY LIAR) Assuming I am saying the truth what is your advise?.. And if you don't have any practical or relatively EXPERIENCE just read others so that you can as well lean.. |
Wow! You are the person that can really guide me. In my case I was given yellow paper from HOME LAND SECURITY.. And I have been to DOFIT.. I was advised by the head of DOFIT TO APPEAL MY CASE.. HIS NAME IS NGINI AND HE WAS LATER POSTED TO HEAD ABIA STATA COMMAND BEFORE HIS SUDDEN DEMISE .. SINCE THEN OTHERS ARE JUST TURNING ME UPS AND DOWN.. PLS HOW DO YOU GO WITH YOUR EXPERIENCE? MY NO 08039819885.. PLS TEXT ME COS I HARDLY PICK STRANGE NOBAS . I REALLY NEED YOUR ADVISE... THE MOMENT YOU MISSIONED DOFIT I KNOW YOU you got knowledge.. Thank you as I expect your text.. God bless.e author=temple2grace post=107192585]I had similar experience. Were you given a letter from Diplomatic Security Service? If yes, take the letter to DOFIT at Nigerian Immigration Service HQ. They will guide you.
cosade: cosade:How did you now clear your name in U.S EMBASSY AFTER YOUR PASSPORT WAS GIVEN YOU BACK? IN RETRIEVING BACK YOUR PASSPORT, DID YOU USE LEGAL MEANS? THANKS |
Reasonable advise.. Thanks.. adexyone: |
Thanks My passport was issued me at NIS FESTAC, LAGOS.. Hence it can't be faked.. I didn't go to Ghana for any illegal assignment.. I am working and I have a striving business.. I went to Ghana for genuine reasons and I have proved myself cleared before NIS INTERROGATORS.. I BELIEVE THESE PEOPLE ARE EXPERTS YET THEY CLEARED ME.. INFACT, MY PASSPORT WAS HANDED OVER TO ME THEN THEY ASKED ME DO YOU WANT THE VISA? IF YOU WANT IT APPEAL YOUR CASE.. THEY GUIDED ME IN WRITING THE APPEAL LETTER... ON THAT GROUND I LEFT FOR LAGOS WHERE I BASE.. UNFORTUNATELY, THE HEAD OF THE INTERROGATORS DIED SHORTLY... I HAVE WRITTEN REMINDER LETTER TWICE WITH THE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT COPIES WITH ME.. TRAVELING ALL THE TIME FROM LAG-ABJ IS NOT EASY... THIS IS 2YEARS + NOW AND NOTHING SEEMS TO HAPPEN... I WONDER WHY PEOPLE CAN BELIEVE NIGERIANS ANYMORE INCLUDING NIGERIANS THEMSELVES.. THIS IS MY CASE OOOO.. BY THE SPECIAL GRACE OF GOD I WILL COME BACK HERE ONE DAY TO SHARE MY TESTIMONY.. GOD BLESSES.. Beloved3: |
Amen.. uote author=iretiogo1 post=107168528] God will see you tru I have read about some ppl having the same issue and they do travel truly
|
iretiogo1:I am grateful for the time.. I repeat I did travel through GO EXPRESS from maza maza lagos and our bus passed through SEME BORDER. NIS STAMPED MY PASSPORT OUT AND BENIN IMMIGRATION STAMPED US IN SO IT WAS IN EACH BORDER WE CROSSED.. IN EACH OF THE BORDERS THE ENTIRE PASSENGERS WILL COME COME DOWN OR BE CHECKED BY THEIR IMMIGRATION AND THE DRIVER WILL TAKE OUR PASSPORTS TO THE IMMIGRATION OFFICE FOR STAMPING.. AS SOON AS WE CROSSED INTO GHANA TERRITORY OUR PASSPORTS WERE HANDED OVER TO US... I STAYED TWO DAYS AND RETURNED THROUGH ARIK AIRLINE.. I HAVE THIS PROFFS WITH ME.. THE FRAUD DISCOVERY PAPER ISSUED ME AT THE U.S EMBASSY WAS EXTERIC " GHANA NIGHT TRIP STAMPS" AS A REASON FOR MY DENIAL.. ON THIS GROUND I HAVE APPEARED BEFORE HIGH POWERFUL INTERROGATORS AND INVESTIGATORS AT NIS ABUJA. AFTER PRESENTING MY TRAVELED ITINERARIES BEFORE THE IMMIGRATION INTERROGATORS I WAS TOLD I WAS INNOCENT OF THE ALLEGATIONS LEVELED AGAINST ME AND I WAS ALSO ASKED TO APPEAL MY CASE OF WHICH I DID RIGHT IN THEIR OFFICE.. INFACT, THEY GAVE ME A GUIDE ON WHAT TO RIGHT.. THE HEAD OF THE TEAM CATEGORICALLY TOLD ME HE WILL ASSIST ME TO GET MY VISA.. IF NOT THAT THIS IS A PUBLIC FORUM I WOULD HAVE PUBLISHED PAPERS GIVEN TO ME AT THE NIS.. UNFORTUNATELY, THE MAN DIED.. HIS NAME IS NGINI AND HE HEADED ABIA STATE COMMAND OF NIS BEFORE HIS DEATH.. THAT IS THE BEGINNING OF MY CHALLENGE BEFORE HIS DEATH I ASKED HIM IF I SHOULD INVOLVE LAWYER, HE SAID I SHOULD NOT WORRY EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE SOON.. I HAVE BEEN TO NIS 5TIMES AND IT SEEMS THERE IS NO HEAD WAY.. ON THIS GROUND I SEEK ADVISE... NOT EVERYONE COME TO PUBLIC TO LIE.. |
mojisolani:Thanks for taking your time to write.. But how possible is it to honestly traveled and still have fake stamps on your passport.. NB I traveled through road and returned back through flight... My assumption is that if indeed there were fake stamps NIS would have detained me when I appeared.. Note also that no agent helps me I say nothing but the truth |
chaloskyx:The last visit at NIS I was asked to write a REMINDER LETTING to the C.G's office.. I have done that and submitted it for about a year now.. They kept telling me patient soon you will be happy... I don't understand why it's taking so long?? I even asked one of the immigration officers if I should involve lawyer he said no , but I should just exercise patience |
jumobi1:Yes I did, but through the immigration office.. The people that interrogated me asked me to appeal and I have done that.. Unfortunately the major man handling it died and since then it has been ups and down |
Amen.. Thanks.. recover it in Jesus mighty name..
|
Thanks.. No no no.. no fake stamp my brother.. I traveled to Ghana through GO EXPRESS.. I HAVE MY PAPERS. I SPENT THREE DAYS AND CAME BACK THROUGH FLIGHT.. uote author=MiamiePizza post=107129635]Johnmusa2013 tell us the whole story, like the real story. This thing you dropped here in incomplete and we cannot help you with this. Its a faceless forum. No one is gonna come beat you. There can be people working at that 'Abuja NIN' office on this forum. Just tell us the real story. Did you do a fake stamp? Provide false details or wetin happen gan gan? Be open
|
Chriselow:Mix up regretted... What is meant is NIS and not NIN.. |
Thanks It will be stupid of me to call for public help and still lie.. I did travel to Ghana by road and returned back by flight.. my documents are intact.. Note My passport was sent to NIS for further investigation and interrogation.. I have appeared before them(NIS) and after submitting my travel evidences I was asked to appeal my case of which I have done.. The man who was to assist died not quite long and it has been traumatic.. Pls I need someone with experience not guessing.. I mean someone who genuinely traveled with genuine documents and have appeared before NIS ... NIS has not told me I have been banned or passport seized.. They have only been given me hope.. This is 2years + now |
Thanks.. My Passport was not with th U.S Embassy.. It has been sent to NIS for further investigation and interrogation.. I have appeared before them and I have been cleared.. They advised I appeal my case of which I have done and submitted through them(NIS); Unfortunately, the head of the team died shortly.. I did travel to Ghana through road and returned by flight and I have my papers intact.. Thanks The only thing that will make a foreign mission to hold on to your passport at their embassy is if there is a FORGERY ON IT OR IT HAD BEEN TAMPERED WITH. I can't really understand but something tells me that you attempt using a tampered passport. Don't waste your time in Pursuing any case except you have a genuine and convincing evidence,in which you have to engage the services of a lawyer to institute a Court case. As for the passport, gbà gbé e,it has been sent to ministry of internal affairs in Abuja,
|
Hello Nairaland, Pls can someone with experience advise? My passport was seized in U.S Embassy Abuja and I was referred to NIN for further investigation.. Reason for the seizure was my journey to Ghana in 2018.. During the secondary interrogation at the Embassy I was asked evidence of my journey to Ghana unfortunately,I didn't carry them along.. I appeared at NIN Abuja with all my documents before board of senior investigators and interrogators.. After showing evidences of my trip to Ghana the head of the panel asked me to appeal my case that he will personally assist me.. Unfortunately he died on the process.. Since then I have been going to NIN ABUJA HEAD OFFICE,BUT MY EFFORTS HAS YIELDED NO RESULTS... The above experience, as narrated, has caused me unimaginable trauma and costs.... Any helpful advice will be appreciated.... |
