Romance › Re: I Started Visiting Spiritual Churches And This Is What I Found Out by johnog4sure: 10:28pm On Nov 04, 2024 |
Some good advice already, I do not know why I am compelled to do this 1. Not everybody will be materially of financially rich, you can be successful in many other ways, unfortunately this generation makes it seems as if you do not have money you are a failure( come to think of it why do you want luxury?). 2. Giving is a universal principle that works like this, give that which you want the most, it is a law of sewing and reaping, hence the spiritualists are not lying, and giving kills greed and brings more fulfillment, therefore more happiness irrespective of having more or plenty. I noticed many of the other advice are indirectly pushing blame to God making it looks as if God punishes people with poverty or God needs to be pleased before making people rich...They don't know God. |

EmperorCaesar:

His only Fvck up is touching "His lil brothers wife and his uncle's pregnant wife"
Outside that, he's just a great guy that has his way around women and Nature would be proud of him
On the evolutionary tree, he's up there among the few guys that would have their genes survive for the next 300years... He prolly has more seed outside that he even knows about
He's just being Animalistic...and thats the prime definition of man on the biological level I like this philosophy its realists view! but I kinda like this better: "to be carnally(animalistic) minded is death, to be spiritually minded is life and peace(no disgrace like this man's) Romans 8:6 |

emmy512: If you still feel this way, pick a good project, start it and finish it.
It'll give you the discipline you need, because most times we start and face something daunting and then give up, if you can do something good for free, getting paid won't be an issue.
Find a group if people join them and work, even if you don't get paid what you deserve.. At this point it's earn or learn. Both would be wonderful.
Meet UI guys that would like to have their work come to life and offer to bring their work to life. Free or not and you'll find yourself gaining confidence.
This is basically what Internships help do, but Nigeria doesn't support that mode if learning properly else NYSC would better off be a paid internship where the government supports student s and companies employing them I already built an entire MVC framework from scratch I still do have a couple of other unfinished projects, a commodity trading platform, a courier service app: that will be offered as a SAAS subscription based software. I am right now working for a tech company in Nigeria, the pay was fair but now the inflation has wiped it, that is why I am opening up for a remote working offer, all the other guys in my team are already doing 2 jobs na only me remain. |

WorkRemotely: The Many Reasons Africans Remain Unemployed For Online Remote Positions:
1) Lack of Competence: The Incompetence of Handling Digital Remote Jobs is One of The Many Reasons Alot of People Cannot Secure Remote Jobs For Themselves.
2) Lack of Discipline: Alot of Africans Lack The Discipline To Adhere To Organizational Standards, Work Ethics And Timing. Many Africans Cannot Work On Their Own - Unsupervised!
3) The Inability To Monetize Their Skills: Many Africans Love To Acquire Skills Just For The Sake of "Acquiring Skills". Many of Them Fail At The Ability To Monetize Their Very Own Skills. So, They Are Always Online "Looking For Remote Jobs" Instead of Being Online To "Start Or Create A Remote Job".
In The First Place; Many Africans Cannot Fit into The Organizations of Many Online Remote Jobs Because They Cannot MONETIZE THEIR OWN SKILLS. So, If You Cannot MONETIZE YOUR PERSONAL SKILLS, What Then Are You Bringing To The Table of Any Organization That You Want To Work With ? I thought I was coming to read rubbish but the OP disappointed me he nailed it so well, I even learnt new things from this short piece. I am even guilty of number 3. |

emmy512: As Op stated, lack of competence is the main issue.
Those that even have a little of those skills would face heavy impostor syndrome that would drag them down to not even apply.
Because they have not tested themselves in real working environments so they doubt their abilities when push comes to shove. 100% correct I have been suffering with that even with my multiple skill set and experience |

Yet some still have the temerity to accuse them of being ‘unviable’!? Had states like Bayelsa or Imo been independent countries in their own right, does anyone think they wouldn’t have the capacity to pay their workers and embark on provision of infrastructure!? We like being deceptive in Nigeria! States that can doo well on their own: Lagos, Kano because of commerce Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwaibom, all southeast(because of entrepreneuship), all south west because of agriculture and proximity to Lagos, Nasarawa because of solid Minirals, Kogi because of position. The rest are leeches, as you said Laziness and greed wont let them see this |

Gadafii: In 2023, terrorists entered into Nigeria defence academy to kidnap a captain and kill another, the nda is supposed to be the most guarded military formation in Nigeria.
If terrorists can take over villages close to a military camp, they can as well overrun that camp by staging attacks from these villages, I know you used 100 percent of your brain capacity to make this nonsense comment, for terrorists to have taken over 20 communities where a military training camp is stationed means the GCFRN, minister of defense, NSA, military chiefs etc have all failed and should humbly tender their resignation My brother do not argue with stupid people, from the abundance of their stupidity they type rubish, always remember this excerpt “Neither protests nor the use of force accomplish anything here; reasons fall on deaf ears; facts that contradict one’s prejudgment simply need not be believed — in such moments the stupid person even becomes critical — and when facts are irrefutable, they are just pushed aside as inconsequential, as incidental. WizardOfNG: Please don't go there. Being "disrespected", which is even subjective to begin with, is no reason to commit the criminal.offence of assaulting others.
Many can argue that the driver did not disrespect the Member HOR and that he is merely a horrible and violently arrogant person.
Overall, I don't know why Nigerians have a problem respecting the most fundamental laws of society yet we moan daily that our Nation is not like the UK, USA etal. I do not know how well to explain this, if you live in Abuja and you happen to always have to engage these people(drivers, delivery guys, security etc.) there are a herd of them who will intentional provoke you once they successfully push you into anger mode, they will either start recording or start begging making it seems like you are a bad person, THEY DO THIS INTENTIONALLY, nobody sees what they did but everybody will see you in your anger mode. |

I could not defend him, even if my first reaction was to defend him, the reason is because I know how it felt to be disrespected, I have been there...usually by security guards, drivers etc. They know they will use their victims card |

Nelchi238: You can only like her if you are like her- mean, very greedy , ignorant and very arrogant. The only thing the former minister was good at was acting. ON CAMERA, she was a kind philatrophist and a tough anti corruption advocate. OFF CAMERA, she was very corrupt. when I say very corrupt, I mean very corrupt. She collected the salaries and allowances of her staff and refused to pay them. people worked with her for more than a year yet she hardlyy paid them. her drug addict children were always beating up staff around them and when the staff complain to their mother, she will side her children and insult the staff for being in her words 'ungrateful poor people'. in short- she will not give you money except the camera lights were on! All that fight with donors and World Bank was because she wanted them to settle her. it was her way of extorting money from them! like she always said- she was really shameless- is it how she raided the hampers they give sick children at hospitals after the camera lights are turned off? the woman was never fit for minister and thank God Asiwaju realized that early. Thank you. I saw through her long ago...I could be wrong though but I will prefer to be wrong in this case! |
