kobobay:
Good Evening,

I submitted my application yesterday, and I just got a biometric instruction letter in the e-mail, while reading through the letter, it is stated, "You need to take this letter with you and go in person to any biometric collection service point to have your
fingerprints and photograph taken. Before you go, you need to make an appointment.

That bold is my concern, do I need to make an appointment before getting my biometric done? And if yes, how can I go about it?

Thank you so much
@kobobay i just sent you an email kindly respond

Thanks

Different people with different application timeline....

Me for example, I got medical request 21st of january, did my medical that same day. Medical request was updated to pass on the 28th of January. PPR dropped 1st of Feb. Just hope for the best.

It will surely end in praise

$185 quoted by your agent is equivalent to 235CAD which is current the study permit application fees.
Thank you @Joyousgem, I guess the 235CAD is for the application fee and biometrics right? I am a first timer please.

Your agent may be correct in a way depending on whether you've had an existing profile with IRCC. Application fee is 150CAD and Biometrics is 85CAD. In total, you're to pay 235CAD for a first time application. Whilst, for subsequent applications you're to pay $150CAD.

It will end in praise
Thank you Boss @Frankrobbn1

Good am NL,

I would appreciate if anyone can tell me cost of the study application fee, cos my agent told me it’s $185.

I’m just trying to avoid extortion from the agent.

Thanks.

Good am House, Seems everyone on the platform is been sponsored for their studies. Pls I will like to know the list of document needed for visa application for we sponsoring ourselves. I have been managing my dad’s business for 3years now and I am also using my bank statement for the visa application. I already paid tuition for 1st year and have like 5m in my SOA for living expenses.

Pls what necessary documents are needed for visa application since I’m sponsoring myself.

Good day,

Pls i need an advice on my application, i got admission for an MBA at UNIVERSITY CANADA WEST Jan 2021 to start my program April 2021, but due to the short time for visa processing I deferred to October 2021. I’m actually sponsoring myself, I already paid a tuition deposit of $7,900 CAD. I’m actually using an agent and he advised I should pay the full tuition for the 1st year because the MBA program is a 2yr program.

The tuition for a year is $17,550, i already paid $7,900 deposit and paid the balance of $9,650 to make it up to $17,550 for the 1st year.

My agent said I should have at least 5m (living expenses) in my SOA b4 I apply for the student visa.

I’m really confused here because a friend of mine said i said i must show the full tuition for the 2nd year + living expenses. Honestly I can only afford the 5m like my agent said and cannot afford the living expenses in my account.

Also what documents should I submit for my visas application since I’m sponsoring myself.

I will be glad to get every useful information from everyone.

Thanks.
