You can apply and get your admission but you need to apply for your transcript to be sent to the school before you graduate...

I think for Benin Republic passport holder the duration is 90 days but Nigeria is just one month just like Rwanda 90 days for Benin and 30 days for Nigeria.

Those added days advantage gives you more time to explore and the immigration officials at the airport will be less strict with someone carrying Benin Republic Passport.

With the passport you can travel to this country without visa, visa online or arrival.

I just applied for a pgd in Information Technology online...filled the form and printed the conditional Admission letter.

Thereafter i noticed it was written somewhere that i will have to go to the study centre with the printed admission letter and form.
I only printed admission letter.
I didn't print the filled form and couldn't find how to go back to the filled form...i hope this wouldn't be a problem

To start with, I don't think that school qualifies for PGWP after graduation oooo as it is a private degree mill college. Kindly be careful and read through before any financial commitment to the school ooo. the school doesn't look at degrees, all they want is your money. that's why they gave you admission without experience nor a previous degree in IT

Then, with 2.1 in Geology even though no experience in that, why not go for MSc in Geology or a related field to prove academic progression. Even the IT course you went for, you don't have experience nor degree in it ( forget about the post-secondary diploma you did after secondary school)

I recently got admission for a post graduate diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at CIMT Ontario college for fall term 2022, and this is what landed me into this thread and i have been reading and reading contributions in here..and i have concerns about going forward with the admission.

To start with, i have a Bsc in Geology 2:1, graduated 5 years with no work experience in that particular field after searching for jobs to no avail, but been working in the Business development/ Sales field. I have also been doing some self learning on some online courses on programming cos i love it. I did a one year diploma in information technology at some computer college like that after i finished secondary school.....

My reason for choosing pgd in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is that i plan on switching career into IT. I have a IT background with regards to the one year Diploma in IT and two years work experience in IT before beginning undergraduate studies in Geology.

Do you guys think this is enough to get Study visa ... Asides other requirements...or do i need to go for a course that have to do with geology or my work experience in business development field....

At first, in my mind I was like, dey whyne yourself Lool, I later realized he was right. The VO is actually very cool and fast with few questions. However, three elders came in (royal fathers from Anambra) and we were asked to allow them go in before us, and I was like Oh great, that’s fine,but the security lady was making it look like it’s a big deal, but then I understand. So I faced them and said sir, whenever you are ready to go. Actually enjoyed their company before they called them. It took time because they are old and must be drillled gently. I was just there gisting with a newly found pretty human being. She said she’s not on NL, so I guess I’m covered.

When I put out this post, it was pretty difficult to do the bank transfer from Nigeria, in fact even from bro in Olso too few ppl tried to contact me. No scam was intended. Employers might not necessarily require evaluation of your degree ( this depends on the employers actually) but evaluating your academic docs is required for applying for the pilot program...

What the VO meant was, your dad or mom should be the one to swear the affidavit for you, simply take a picture of you and your dad or mom to the high court, tell the person helping you to change the format to make it look like it’s your dad or mom swearing the affidavit on your behalf and also make sure he stamps your picture and your dad or moms picture together with the page

They are not compulsory but if you have a very beautiful result, you can go with transcripts. Anything that puts you in a positive light is good. If you also have NYSC, go with it

The embassy folks are really not happy with applicants bombarding them with calls for AD.
I know quite a number of us have been waiting for AD for a month or more.
No doubts this new development stems from the incessant calls to the embassy by applicants for AD. I got this info from someone at the embassy.
Note that this only affects Students visa and not other visa categories.

Please and please lets help ourselves so they dont come up with stricter measures for applying for student visa cos its looking like this will be their next step.
I take God beg us. Make we chill for this german waka. Cos number of applicants they increase for every season and like i said earlier they are not happy with the way this winter applicants they call embassy anyhow for AD.
