way to import new items to Nigeria now is as follow:

1 .you have to make sure that your product is register with SON.
2. The product must also be certified by SON(this is the responsibility of the manufacturer or the shipper which enable them to get you the Certificate of product registration).
3. You get the proforma invoice and the SON product certificate (PC) across to your bank or your agent for the opening of Form M and that is the document that will carry all the information concerning the products and both importer and exporter information, e.g the HS code, the amount or the FOB, the description of goods, country of origin of the products, types I.e either used or new items and the freight .
4.After the Form M must have been approved and the BA and form M number been generated,then it will now be forwarded to the manufacturer or the shipper for the issuance of SONCAP by the manufacturer which will enable the agent or the bank for the processing of PAAR by Nigeria Customs Service.08036240534,Mail:tobaprince11@yahoo.com.
