Na wah oh…..Who do we really believe with all the fake news and smear campaigns going on all around us? This same story is being widely circulated across the social media under the shade of witness report. I honestly see a lot of things wrong with this story. Firstly, the so called STL Trustees being referred to as subsidiary of Skye Bank on my last check is an independent company which had interestingly issued a release on same issue http://citynews.i.ng/2018/08/22/stl-trustees-explains-enforcement-of-court-judgment-on-awoyaya-land/ The screen shots of letters in the story being circulated are that of lawyers of the persons sponsoring the story rather than that of any court of competent jurisdiction. The image in the video looks even the more doubtful as I have seen similar video clips in another story sometime last year. We really need to stop playing on the intelligence of people under the name of social media journalism. The distractions are just too much. |
Skye Bank promotes 875 Skye Bank has promoted over 875 workers, following the completion of its 2017 annual staff performance review. The promotion, which cuts across cadres, the bank said, was in line with its commitment to reward workers who performed creditably during the past financial year. http://thenationonlineng.net/skye-bank-promotes-875/ |
Must we be sensational all of the time. I thought it was on Channels TV this morning and I also read it in Tribune online where the management of Skye Bank clearly stated that it neither colluded nor unilaterally hid the reported sum or any other funds in its custody and that the said funds are held with the full knowledge of the relevant agencies of government (i.e. Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the DSS, the National Assembly and the Inspector General of Police’s Special Investigation Panel). |
“This post on Skye Bank is not true o. Closing of unprofitable branches is a routine in the banking industry and doesn’t translate to a bank being distressed. The CBN has officially and consistently stated same in their official statement that Skye Bank is not distressed. Secondly, Skye Bank ATMs across the country is up and working, I even used it yesterday. Interswitch controls all ATMs centrally and downtime challenge is not peculiar with Skye Bank. Skye Bank has a multi-lingual Yes Center which is open 24/7 to attend to all enquiries and complaints from customers and stakeholders which should be utilized where necessary if a customer is having any challenge. You can lodge the cash retract complaint you mentioned for quick resolution and also give the name of your community to enable them respond quickly to issues that may arise therefrom. You can contact and reach out to Yes Center on 0700 75932265, 0806 988 0000, 01 4482 100, 01 2705 850 or send an Email to: yescenter@skyebankng.com” |
