when scripture talks of God's name it isn't always talking about His literal name,
how could Jesus keep the apostles in God's literal name, i can't keep my children in the name of john,

According to God's word Lucifer or Son of the dawn brought a curse to the earth even though he himself is one of the first set of angels (son of the dawn or son of light means one of the first sets of angels God created) Read Job 38:7
For misleading the nations he was cast down (banished) to the earth {Revelations 12:9} and it was Archangel Michael who led that conquest {Revelations 12:7} Micheal is the one standing for the salvation of all faithful people throughout the earth! Daniel 12:1 compare to John 3:16
So Lucifer is Satan the devil while Archangel Michael is Jesus Christ.
