We can't thank God enough for the journey so far.

Team July! It's about to go down, I hope we're ready. It's count down to our month already and I'm so happy that we have recorded a birth - our Cappo opened the floor for us.

Some of us are in our 37th week already. Let's try and tidy up our rooms, hospital bags, take our prenatals, build up/maintain our blood level, be active and most importantly pray.

Hope there's no too much complain? Sorry for the body pains, swollen feet and BH, it'll surely end in praise.

Cappo FloraEC, we are fine, already crossed 36th week. I am scheduled for another scan on Thursday although my last scan gave me 26th June as against July 1st.

Team July how’s everything? We're in week 30/31/32/33/34+. Hope we're fine and through with shopping/washing? June is next week Friday and some of us may port to June, so we've to prepared.
Sorry for the BH, excess pooing, tummy pain, leg cramps, back ache, difficulty sleeping or standing up from the bed, painful and tiring walking steps, vomiting and loss of appetite.

So my baby finally opened and is XY well according to scan. 34weeks today, 6weeks to go. Shopping done and dusted. Excess pooing dealt with me last night that I was sweating and crying, took 3 sachets of water. Difficulty turning in bed, waddling.

It'll surely end in praise.

That girl is not serious, my then bf was frowning when I was to pick a Masters form at University of Ibadan, claiming it was too far from the south south , it was just 2 months to my resumption at UI that the dude told me someone was pregnant for him , I just carry my body go do my program.

Well, it depends on the kind of relationship you have with me, they may want to ask you and maybe thinking of how you will feel draws them back.
Also, maybe they think it is too early. If you are comfortable with your MIL, you can talk to her. All the best and may God bless you with your own children.

Dear friend, that it "doesn't usually follow through for everyone" does not necessarily translate to an external cause as the clog in the wheel. A lot of Nigerians today just don't understand how pivotal it is to premise their career on passion, hence they jump on the bandwagon of "going for the money." Their individual inauntheticity is visible in the "follow-follow" mentality they peddle and patronize. Even the ones with a more favourable room to do the needful do not avail themselves of it. Although external factors may impel one to go for the money in the beginning, opting for one's passion not too long after shouldn't be negotiable.

Going for a career that imbues one with enthusiasm heralds excellence, success, and impactful contributions to that sphere of endeavour as well as humanity. For a moment, imagine if Chimamanda Adichie had continued with studying Medicine, would she be as significant and renowned as she is today? The bottom line is that so many persons in this part of the world strangely find refuge in underscoring socio-economic factors for not being decisive, foresighted, and more sagacious in career choice. That is an anomaly!

I'm not disputing the fact that we should follow our passion when choosing our career, there are lots of Nigerians who know what they want, but I just wanted the OP to also know that it ain't that easy in this part of the world.
