Arewa Forum?

Bunch of inconsequential folks, they should first address the issues of insecurity, illiteracy and other myriads of problems ravaging their region before spilling trash.

I told my son, "You will marry the girl I choose."
He said, "NO!"
I told him, "She is Bill Gates' daughter."
He said, "OK."
I called Bill Gates and said, "I want your daughter to marry my son."
Bill Gates said, "NO."
I told Bill Gates, My son is the CEO of World Bank."
Bill Gates said, "OK."
I called the President of World Bank and asked him to make my son the CEO.
He said, "NO?"
I told him, "My son is Bill Gates' son-in-law."
He said, "OK."
This is exactly how politics works...
Succinct.

In other words, an eyes for an eyes will not make the world go blind, instead, people will learn to think things through before dipping their hands into act of atrocities that will render them blind.

Too bad, na die lost but no wahala na.
Politics › Re: Minimum Wage: Why You Can’t Dictate What To Pay, Labour Replies Govs by jojothaiv(m): 9:15am On Jun 29, 2024
How about the general populace dictate what's being paid to the set of merry men and elite journey men called Nigerian politicians?

Let just assume it was done that way, will so called merry men foam at their mouths, more reason politics should be left in the hands of those who know it very well and not the current crop of politicians who have no business being elected or appointed in the first place.

ZIAZI:

In one breath, you're saying God is a cooked-up story and in another, you're saying he exists.
What I've come to realized about most earthlings (sorry to use that word) is no matter how much they feign logic and open mindedness, there are situations that they'd also go against what they stand for.

Humans are largely hypocritical, since I've known that I've learnt to manage my expectations about them in the best possible way I can.

And all what I said also refers to me, so no exceptions one bit.

Back to the story, that man even though he regain his freedom is forever traumatized, his experience may likely makes him cold forever.

A lesson to all,

Once you've get what you want from life, there are things, folks you must learn to avoid, you can't be seen hanging and rolling out with all.

A case is David trying to roll out with Sango's Terry G, man should've invited him to eat out in a local buka and at most, used Israel as a decoy but then, shiiiit have gone south already, I hope we all learn our lessons
Travel › Re: Nigerians Allegedly Face Xenophobia In Benin Republic by jojothaiv(m): 8:58am On Jun 29, 2024
Zangbeto? Fon/Eguns.

Ketou? Yorubas.

Even with the ties some of us share with folks from that end, we've managed to avoid coming in contact with some of them because the black man is his own problem, now throw the word 'Nigerian' into the mix and coupled with those soiling and spoiling our already battered reputation in the eyes of the outside world you'd discovered that the average Beninoise is justified.

Maybe, this is a wake up call for some of us still stuck up here dancing on the political chess board(many are even pawns, they get moved and cherry picked at ease by the good for nothing politicians) to get serious with getting it right.

Nigeria is exhausting.

Islamic marabouts,

That aside, we must find ways as a country to stop celebrating ill-gotten wealth on national scale.

Anyway, some folks will still find a way to rationalize the failure of the Nigeria government and you kind of wonder if Nigerians can actually inspire change.
