Just left DPR office in Abuja. List is in Lagos and very coded with Hr.. Only those with long legs have gotten. The rest will be contacted before weekend.. Letters will be posted to addresses. Emails may be sent

There's still hope...
As far as I know, no merit candidate has been contacted yet...the answerer almost disclosed that but later withdrew... I then asked him btwn now and when can he say those not contacted shud move on? He replied 'this week and next week latest'. He added, 'don't worry; if ur name is on the list, u will surely be contacted soon'.
What can be deduced so far?

I feel some candidates on stakeholders list are yet to contacted too. Please let ignore merit or no merit notion.. Pray you are on the final list.

They have finally admitted at DPR that letters are being disbursed. However, I was told that only those from Lagos Zone have not been contacted at all

I was told that postings will be after documentation. I even asked if married women would be considered but I got a stern look for that question . Professionals will be posted on needs to zones, at least I was told that.

It was earlier quoted in an earlier post by smartgrid or so that letter of EH have not been even signed.. Let be still hopeful.

I noticed the letter says to complete and return the acceptance slip on or before 1st October 2018. But the resumption date (they say) is in August, how does that work? A clarification would be highly appreciated.

You can get a hint from paragraph number. 4 on the offer letter. I think resumption date is subject to condition stated on paragraph number 4.

I would imagine that it'd be difficult for a chemical or petroleum engineer, or even an environmentalist to break into management @ DPR due to their technical background; but don't you think someone with a degree and MSc in management and starts a career in the corporate services department has a better chance of rising and breaking into management eventually?

Or are the obstacles the same across board? Kindly clarify.
